Fahdiga:I'm not always high. In fact, I'm not high at all, as overconsuming my own sativa reduces my profit. |
And some thought ASUU strike did not pay lecturers who can sit in village and remote work anywhere in the world. ![]() |
Nigeria should follow too. I hate the fact I have to be covert on my farm and hide my profitable sativa in my bitter leaf! |
zeuss:What is unbelievable is many Nigerians are willing to elect Atiku regardless of his Fulanisation. I would have thought his reputation was bad enough, but then, there are many considering Tinubu too. |
Would Peter Obi supporters burn down Nigeria because of that?Na, not really. Though US's Jan 6 does come to mind. But after all our giragira and going through all the stages of our grief, we will remember that Rome was not built in a day and that Buhari lost more than once before finally heaping sufferhead on us for 8 years, so we shall dust ourselves off and start preparing to win in 2027 or 2031. Meanwhile, we shall labour hard to win in 2023, which is just the beginning..

M1r5789:You are right too. Some things are complex like that. |
Agbegbaorogboye:They are "idolatrous practices of his country of origin", to you. And as is said, one person's food is another's poison. And Britain obviously has not rejected him. They knew he was Hindu before putting him there. And even King Charles would be crowned "Defender of the Faiths", as opposed to the defender of one single faith. UK is not backward like you think. They've been educating themselves for a while now, and most don't judge on stupid things like some. Those who do are racists and intolerant, and will surely pay for their ignorance.

M1r5789:They are thieves, so I doubt they had consciences. And in those days, kidnap or butcher was not as common nor was that their motive or they'd have butchered those I met on the way. The issues is the affordability of the risk, or more accurately, the perceived risk, and the proper processing of the available information. And I obviously had little to risk at the time since my plan was to walk to Ketu as I had done the night before. To illustrate. Grandma's house is like 100 metres from grandpa's house where we used to stay, except it's through the bush. It's not a problem in the day, but at night it's kind of scary, being in the village where all sorts of iwins and anjonus are waiting to eat one, they tell me. There's a road, but it's like around the block and like 500 metres. Grandpa's house has no toilet, but grandma's does with running water to wash your bum and flush, so you can guess which route buda prefers when poo catches buda at night. Iwin and anjonu, please do your worst! All the same, your point is valid. The "Apia way" is not always the best way, and one should carefully consider the risk factor before taking the risk. |
raumdeuter:Please let him run again. Pretty please, please. |
gypsey:I am not calling you a name. I am merely stating a fact. You are a lazy fuq. If you weren't you'd have gotten the information yourself instead of repeatedly asking me to provide it for you. |
gypsey:You are one lazy fuq!
|
Dtruthspeaker:Stop inferring, DT! Or at least take responsibility for so doing. https://www.nairaland.com/7397720/what-tree-knowledge-good-evil/1#117887156

Dtruthspeaker:DT, I never said any such nonsense, because no God could ever tell such a lie! What you can't get through your thick head is that those who wrote that in the Bible might have lied to you. After all, we can all clearly see that Adam and Eve lived a very long and fruitful life after eating the fruit they were told they would surely die if they ate. But I'm not surprised, as you've shown yourself to be a believer of information given to you, and are not capable of processing it into knowledge, not to talk of into wisdom. budaatum: |
PraiseGodRCCG:Thankfully, Rishi Sunak knows that the job of Prime Minister of United Kingdom that he now has is to serve the British people.
|
gypsey:Dude, the information you require is available all over the place so I don't need to do your work for you, but if you wish to believe what you cooked up in your head and thought, you are very welcome to. |
lhordspy:This instance may be "Easterners", but the attitude is Nigerian. All the metal rails along the Nigerian roads are stolen, along with street lights too, and it's not Easterners stealing them all. |
Dtruthspeaker:I think you need to go back to school to learn to read and to comport yourself in a more mature manner. |
Drwords:You are going to have to explain to me how the above constitutes bowing please. Because, as far as I understand, bowing is not the way of the Buddha who's teaching is more like, get off your lazy ass and do the fuqing work to ask and knock and seek, a la pick up your cross and bear it. Moshalashi Busstop to Jibowu Busstop has 2 routes. You can either walk across the railway line or go all the way to Ojuelegba through Yaba which is like 100 times longer. One day I was going home from there to Ketu at 2am and saw three men coming the other way holding their shoes on their head crying they'd been robbed. "Ọmọ ilewe", they said to me, "you better not go that way, or you'd be robbed." Hmm, I thought, what have I got to be robbed of, me who hasn't got the 50 kobo required for kabukabu to Ketu. And so continued across the railway. Yours truly was accosted by the robbers who asked me what small me in my school uniform was doing there at 2am. "I am going home to Ketu, after lessons at Moshalashi", I said, "but I have not got enough to get there. Can you please help me". They gave me 1 Naira, so I had enough to get home early the next day too. Sometimes, the "Apia way" is better, is my point, though, not always. |
Now, that's bold and impressive! Naija go carry Bible begin de call Yahweh, but India man does not forget his own Hindu Gods.
|
We Nigerians love jeopardising ourselves then putting the blame on others. The operation of these ports would benefit many but some selfish idiots only think of benefitting themselves! |
Dtruthspeaker:DT! Please be responsible for your own inferring instead of irresponsibly claiming I implied what I never implied! Adam died, and Eve obviously must have died too, just that they did not surely die after eating the fruit they'd been told would surely kill them!
|
SeniorMan715:That is because the Kingdom of God is within you, my Senior. |
Dtruthspeaker:DT, please point out just one instance where I said "Eve never died". |
Chnbanc:Cheap and stupid and very immature. |
SeniorMan715:Lol! You made me respond twice too. |
SeniorMan715:I did not say it is a condition in the hearts of Christians. I said it is a condition or state of things that starts in the those who understand their book. Even the text you posted says it starts with repentance, which is a thing done by humans. For repentance corrects the will; and if ye will not repent through fear of evil, at least ye may for the pleasure of good things; hence He says, the kingdom of heaven is at hand; that is, the blessings of the heavenly kingdom. The good things start as peace of mind on earth. And those who do the things that bring - from the abundance of their hearts - peace on earth, are the ones who receive the blessings of the heavenly kingdom right here on earth. |
If the ọọni made any such claim it shows how immature he is, though one can already tell that by where his priorities are. |
Impressive! The first Nigerian Party to inspire to reach such heights. |
SeniorMan715:It is a "condition" that starts in the hearts of those who understand their Bible (as opposed to in the hearts of 'Christians' who tend to merely believe). In that sense it is the peace one feels inside one even when tribulations and storms are raging at one P.s. I commend your choice of the word "condition". |
The Kingdom of God is within. Next question is, what does that mean and how?
|
Dtruthspeaker:Dude, did you go to school at all? Is anyone arguing that Eve never died? What is being said here is, she died a very long time after she ate the fruit she was told would kill her, and she and Adam lived a very long time after eating it.

. On a serious note Nigeria should legalize weed.
Is anyone arguing that Eve never died?
