MrPresident1:
Ezekiel 31:9
King James Version
9 I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.
This does not in any way infer that Adam and Eve were trees! It just states that the trees were envious of man!

Besides, the last sentence of that chapter shows clearly that Ezekiel was writing metaphor and making his own claims and stating his own opinion with his, "This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, declares the Lord GOD”. Unless you want to claim the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is Pharaoh.

MrPresident1:
Yes. Your fathers were very envious and subtil
I'm certain they were not trees, since trees are usually not more envious and subtil than humans.

If they were, they might have called out to Adam and Eve saying, "eat my fruit me! eat my fruit me!", and there might not have been the need for a serpent that was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made.

You are just being willfully blind! They were all trees in the garden!
Adam and Eve were trees in the Garden of Eden?

If so, then yes I am being willfully blind, because no where is that what I see with my own eyes, which perhaps are not as good as your eyes.

Consider yourself more blessed with better eyes than buda.

The abominations that they were performing were their fruits. Except you a a human hyena, devoid of conscience, that's when you can not know the difference between the 'wheat and the chaff'
Abomination that who was performing MrP?

The text clearly states "the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil", so are you suggesting that the tree was performing evil with it's fruits?

I do not think this question is relevant for we were not there at the time to know and understand that "tree" this was or is.

The relevant Truth is that we, who were born after its eating find that we automatically know those things which are good from those things that are evil.
It is obviously relevant to me, which is why I opened a thread on the subject.

If it is not relevant to you then I suggest you not waste your own time on it, DT, and let me waste mine.

Genesis 2:9
And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Exodus 34:12
Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:
None of this infers that either tree is people or the works of anyone's hands!

If thou wilt learn, "ignorance" is not the same as lack of knowledge! Dictionaries to be blamed for this.

Ignorance means rejection and a casting away of an information given you.

Lack of knowledge means no one gave you that knowledge at all and neither could you reasonably and naturally acquire that information.

Which is why in Law, "ignorance is not an excuse or defence but lack of knowledge is"!
It it rather obvious that one can be given knowledge that one can choose to ignore. We would therefore claim that person lacks knowledge due to their act if ignoring. That is after all what you would want to claim of buda.

Knowledge, is however, not the same as information. One can have information about square roots, for instance, and not have knowledge of it relevance to one's existence, or how to ise them.
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is The Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good And Evil by budaatum(op): 4:01pm On Oct 23, 2022
MrPresident1:
This is not about what you 'claim' or your opinion. You drew your question from the Bible and we are using the same Bible to answer you. The tree is people and the fruits are the works of their hands. The heathen had abominable works like burning children in sacrifice to devils IDOLATRY. Israel had the Law of the LORD which is the law of Moses
Sir! What you've written is your claim and your opinion based on your own understanding of the Bible, so stop making out like you have some direct connection to the Bible or God that no one else has!

There is nowhere in the Bible where it is claimed the tree of knowledge is people or the works of anyone's hands!

Deuteronomy 18:9-11 King James Version 9 When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil were performing abominable works, your fruits are the works of your hand, they were passing their children through the fire and sacrificing them to molech. Idolatry is the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The Law of the LORD that he gave to Moses is the pure righteous wisdom
I see you quote the Bible. What would you say if I were to claim the beginning of eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is you reading the Bible?

Would you quote from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil if you had not eaten it's fruit?
Romance › Re: Do You Think Marriage Is Compulsory Or Not? by budaatum: 3:49pm On Oct 23, 2022
Marriage is very not compulsory but society has made us think we must marry.

Marriage is essential if one wants to responsibly reproduce but even reproduction is not essential.

There are however other benefits of marriage that one would not reap if one were single. Marriage here being, committing to one partner

You'd have a partner for starts, a person you can join with to traverse through life and build something together.

You'd have someone to share intimacy with and test your ideas and plans with before attempting to bring them together into fruition.

If you live in a cold country, you'd have a stable bed warmer whom you too can warm bed for.

Of course, a single person can chop and change partners to get some of these benefits. But there's nothing better than committing to someone who commits to you with you both knowing it's for the long term.

If one must marry, I'd suggest one do the work to be marriable, for that is how one would find a suitable person who would want to commit to one. Because if you bring nothing to the table you'd likely end up with a person who has nothing to bring to the table, and your table would remain empty or contain even less than the empty you'd have if you remained single since both of you would be feeding off an empty table.

The tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, both are allegoric terms that Moses used to describe respectively the pure righteous wisdom from God and also the impure left hand wisdom which though also from Him but not approved by Him, this impure wisdome is idolatry. God is the owner of all knowledge.
Thank you for your contribution. It does not fully answer the question at all, however good all the same.

"Pure righteous wisdom from God" sounds like the good wheat, while "the impure left hand wisdom" sounds like the bad chaff.

Can a person who has not eaten the fruit of the tree that produces both know the difference between the two and know which to do?

Basically, can an ignorant person separate the wheat from the chaff?

By some theories there are infinite number universes.
Also the story of eating fruit for immortality predates the Bible
No argument here. Fact is, the story is programming, and most take the worst program possible from it. Or why would people choose to be descendants of naked ignorant slave in a tiny garden Adam when they can choose to be creations in God's image and “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.

If ignorant Adam says, "Let there be light", can there possibly be light?

Do people seriously think the white Europeans who brought them the Bible do not eat fruits of trees of knowledge?

How the heck do people expect them to land on the moon and send probes to Jupiter and Mars if fruits of trees of knowledge was not an essential part of their diet?

You should all come to SE14. It's on the edge of the Monopoly Map just before Old Kent Road and after you collect 200 for passing Go. There's lots of libraries full of Trees of Knowledge within walking distance, though internet has reduced it to fewer than there used to be, but you can still see the sign in concrete on the buildings where it still says Library! Do the same in Nigeria, and you'd need to put church to get that many hits.

Humans do not need to be immortal to reap the benefits of knowledge. Fact is, those who eat fruits of knowledge will have a longer life expectancy and quality of life and constant light than those eat it not! They are more likely to love their neighbours more too.

Guys good evening. I'm serious with this post as I'm tired of heartbreaks and Heartbreakers. I've dated a lot if ladies, some left and I was really heartbroken. Many times I think about life. I don't want to go through women's drama anymore. The fear of getting cheated on or even getting dumped. I'm a kind of a guy that doesn't flirt nor double date so I believe any girl I date too should be able to stay the same way, but these girls ain't loyal. It's like all girls are the same. It's true there's no way you can satisfy a woman.

Seriously, relationships drama is tiring. I have some other things to think about and all I get worried about every day is getting dumped or getting cheated on cos the pain will be too intense.

I've finally come to a decision that I want to maybe cut my penis away and to ask if there won't be any health implications if I do so, please this is no joke.

Wait fest, did you eventually pay the girl's dowry before making her a mother of 3 and a punching bag? I remember you knocking her up the first time and arm twisting her parents into letting her live with you,I then remember the dreadful abortion the year after that, then the birth of the twins the year after the abortion and now this....all through, you could barely afford to care for them. Even your first daughter was afraid of you then.....

It is well. Please find adequate means of caring for them, then do right by her before attempting to bring her back. The girl is only 24yrs fa.
You remember all this? Please show us where you remember all this from so we can all remember it too.

The person you quoted was spot on and you have the reasoning of a fish. Just in case you missed the evidence, the op stated that: "Her junior sister told me all the dirty things she has been doing since she has got back to their house, like going to sleep in a guy's house overnight when her dad is on night shift." Use your head next time. Life is hard but being stupid makes life even harder.
Of course her junior sister would conveniently tell him the dirty things his wife with his "first daughter is 4, and our twins girls are 2 years old", are doing.

And her junior sister would know because when his wife is about to be "going to sleep in a guy's house overnight", she would tell her junior sister that she is "going to sleep in a guy's house overnight" so, "junior sister, please take care of my three children for me", which makes me wonder who, between you and I, has no head to even use.

Before asking or answering these type of questions I think we ought start by looking at creation in entirety:

** There are two trillion galaxies in the observable universe.
Indeed we must. But unfortunately, most start with the Bible because they have only seen and read that one book.

I think we should first ensure we see what we read with our own eyes first to test if our eyes actually work, or we would be very blind to the "trillion galaxies in the observable universe" and the billions of years it took for it to come into existence.

Personally, "creation" itself is biblical, and it presupposes a creator God. The truth is, we do not know how the earth and the universe came into existence, but are far too ignorant to admit it, despite it being obvious by claims if belief, which simply means what one chooses to accept as so without bothering to check.

That check, as in, ask and knock and seek with one's own heart and soul and mind and being, is what Eve teaches us by eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Christianity Etc › Re: Reeve's Pass by budaatum(op): 2:12pm On Oct 23, 2022

Yes, let us correct this teaching.

Please see the instruction given to the human created in God's image:

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

That, is "take care of God's creation" that God spent 6 days creating and found to be good then he rested.

While, And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed, is take care of a very tiny small portion of God's creation, and a clear reduction of duties and responsibilities.

Even the payments/rewards/foods are different!

See the payments/rewards/foods of the creation in the Image of God:

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Now see if you can not detect the pay cut given to Adam and Eve.

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Please, stop misquoting yourself, in order to avert the wrath of God.

Before Adam and Eve were created, God was already living with his angels in heaven, including Lucifer.

Do try to read your Bible very well. If you are lacking the knowledge to do so, then seek God's spiritual inclination.
Yes I do read my Bible very well. Unlike most who jump around, I started In the beginning and worked my way diligently to the very end, three times.

The Bible is not the whole Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, but a small essential part of it. And if buda were placed in the Garden of Eden, that is the only fruit buda would most definitely read along with the fruit of the tree of life. And that after querying God for demoting buda from Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth, to "take care of a very tiny small portion of God's creation"!

And that, after complaining strongly at the reduction in pay/reward! Because it is obvious to me that if I do not eat the fruit of trees of knowledge, I will say, "Let there be light", and the response will be NEPA! Instead of "and there was light".

If your God has a wrath, then let that God inflict it! I buda would love to see the wrath of a God that prefers slaves instead of powerful creatures created in God's own Image!

But ask Buda to prepare you a pool to wash your eyes so you'll see the OP was calling on his fellow Christians.
The op is asking a question from a book that anyone who has had their eyes opened can read and understand and answer.

And if you could reason, you'd know that no God worth worshipping would tell you not to eat the fruits of trees of knowledge of good and evil. And if any God did tell you you'd die if you ate it and then you ate it and did not die, you'd ask yourself why you are being lied to and who is lying to you and if it's God or not.
