musicwriter:One must ask if we do speak English because "our ancestors were enslaved with Jesus", or the English, to be more precise. Do you speak English because your ancestors were enslaved by the English, Musicwriter? If so, why don't we, if we can and should, emancipate ourselves and speak our own languages if we could, and what would be the consequences if we did? P.s. These are mostly for personal exercise and do not necessarily require a response. Would love to hear what anyone thinks though, I mean, why are we enslaved to the English language? |
basilico:To make money for herself from magas like you who are enticed to watch and promote and are provoked by her dlido. She is afterall sticking her diq in your mind which you've held still for her so she can't miss just as you held your magamind steady for frumpthp to scam you. But note how you are failing at sticking her diq in the mind of buda. It's called the morale of being responsible for what one consumes with one's mind instead of irresponsible eating the kraken one's mind is fed. |
triplechoice:Is that how you understand it triple? Well, in a sense, your phone is part of you but not in the same way your senses are part of you. I understand it as you using your phone with its mechanism to fulfil your minds desire of interacting with me. Your phone is not one of your senses after all, but an extension that humans have designed to extend the use of your sense of seeing (hearing) what I have to say and responding over large distance which you otherwise would not have been able to do without the human scientifically designed and engineered extension. triplechoice:I met a friend yesterday. Our discussion evolved around the question, how is one certain that what one understands is what one heard, and how does one tell if there's a difference. I think it applies here as what has appeared to you. I think you are very separate from your phone, triple. You can leave your phone in your bedroom or on a bus and go into your bathroom without it but you can not be in your bathroom without your senses. triplechoice:First, I need you to be conscious of the meaning and consequence of the following: KnownUnknown:I'm going to make an amendment. Of course I don’t claim to fully understand consciousness because there is no way to have [an objective experience of other people’s consciousness because we always have subjective to ourself experiences which cloud our objectivity] talk less ..... Unknown, what do you think of my subjective edit? triplechoice:Now, note how many times I have disagreed with your subjective interpretation of what I've said and then read the following in answer to your question please. https://www.christopherreeve.org/living-with-paralysis/health/how-the-spinal-cord-works |
basilico:It is not the sort of stuff I watch, bas. I don't sully my kind with junk like you do. |
basilico:It benefits her that magas like you watch and promote her. She makes lots of money from your ignorance. |
triplechoice:No one said "separately" but you. Working together is more like it. One becomes aware of phenomena because one has been informed by one's senses. For instance, you are becoming aware of what I am about to say first by assimilating it through your eyes, then by interpreting it with your mind. Lots of parts of your body are involved, like my dodgy S2-S3 is involved with my bowel. |
basilico:Unfortunately, for you, there is a witch to hunt here. |
triplechoice:
|
KnownUnknown:You should come ask my fuqed up S2 and S3 that has left my bladder and bowel unconscious. https://www.christopherreeve.org/living-with-paralysis/health/how-the-spinal-cord-works |
LordReed:The point exactly. I'd suspend this individual for not knowing the difference. I wonder if you've heard of a thing called asoyin (I think). It's kind of like a voice speaking out of hole or a tree or something and was very popular at one time. |
triplechoice:He failed in the rigourous training that would have cleared his senses. |
LordReed:I do agree my Lord, and we've come a long way already. However, now that more details surface, the redherring. Lemoine, an engineer for Google’s responsible AI organization, described the system he has been working on since last fall as sentient, with a perception of, and ability to express thoughts and feelings that was equivalent to a human child. How did Lemoine determine that what was expressed were "thoughts and feelings". Did he hit it with a hammer and hear it cry instead of projecting himself on the capable AI he created? |
basilico:Of course what you disagree with must be lies. |
basilico:During WW2, war was being fought in nations that would have been competition for America by soldiers who would have been manufacturing nuts and bolts in competition to America, so can you see how America may have had a surge in production and sale of bolts and nuts during WW2. Now, show me how up to date you are with conspiracies and explain why in America it is said that war pays, |
OkCornel:An evolved species, is what I'd say, since we are discovering quite a lot that seems less true than was initially believed to be true. Hopefully, the op will realise that a supposed fictitious Jesus, as he claims, can not have possibly been a fraud, then ask why billions have supposedly been defrauded in his name. Op, how and why were you once defrauded by fictitious Jesus?

This is about where I throw Ferrari in the bin. They are proving to be neither prancing horses nor work horse donkeys!
|
musicwriter:Rome never had the older sources, and that which they do have is in the Vatican where qualified individuals can peruse it. Thankfully, some wrote the fictional masses version. Or would you like to claim your Bible learning has been a complete waste of your youth, or that you would have learnt from the older sources? And note, Bible learning, as opposed to what you likely did which was Bible believing. |
LordReed:One would need to assume the needs of AI are the same needs of we humans especially if needs are what we wish to use to determine what it is to be human, my Lord, and that would take some doing. Perhaps they should concentrate on the needs of a pet like a dog or a cat with its simple needs first, though AI is doing immense stuff as it is. The simple Unity Engine in my favourite game is blowing my mind to be honest, despite all the complaints about traffic one can very easily outsmart just as deep blue can't win at chess anymore. Artificial Intelligence is that of human intelligence that humans can package into an electronic device, which shows how ingenious the human mind is despite the humans themselves not yet fully comprehending our very powerful human mind that we attempt to replicate.
|
musicwriter:I am so delighted you did what the unhistorical Jesus is written to have asked you to do which is "ask and knock and seek" and which is research. You just might be prepared to fully open your eyes and see what you read instead of believing what you are told.
|
LordReed:it bugs my 1+, which along with "edited" raises my suspicion, but here's the rub. Note the subjective redherringed "That doesn't mean I don't have the same wants and needs as people". I will at least have to see it piss itself or go hungry like I do and what it does about it first for me to agree we have the same "wants", my Lord.
|
basilico:Can you see how so lazy your mind is so "delays caused by supply chain issues and a disagreement between Boeing and a subcontractor as well as a shortage of qualified mechanics" mean nothing to you? |
Obrigardo:I'm beginning to divert my time and resource elsewhere. Election is soon in Nigeria. |
It is unfortunate that this would seem like buda is one of the 100million supposedly structured for Peter Obi, but I can not claim I have not heard our crying over the past 8 years and think we might this time decide we would not be turkeys voting for Atiku or Tinubu, both whom I would have you consider are the last guard of the past generation and everything else. So, structure. We don't do structure on Nairaland, I know. Structure is for united people who wish to build and accomplish together, while we all here are free agents to whom structure is almost as toxic as suggesting we commune together instead of constantly tearing one another apart. There's our tribal differences and religious differences and understanding differences etc etc with which we do our tearing as if the gods themselves have forbidden we unite and build rockets to Mars Might Peter Obi's 100milon masses be what makes it so some of us decide to reduce our egos and consider structurising around I wonder. Just the thought of running the modes of the old hard in it would resound like Nigeria's restructuring we've all cried for, is what I think. Forming a community group is structure, as is a WhatsApp and Snapchat and Twitter and Telegram and Facebook and etc and etc and etc to begin with. And while Peter must not pay for our structurising - we after all should not structure for a litre of kerosene and a kongo of gari - no one says we might not receive payment from Paul someday and perhaps in a better more hopeful Nigeria. Are you Peter Obi's 100millon Masses? |
yanabasee:Against us Nigerians, yanabasee. If that is our Nigerian choice. |
Livelystone01:They will woefully fail because they are too disorganised to succeed. |
basilico:I really don't know what to say to you sometimes when you make these stupid statements which just show how little you know. No country is ever self sufficient because it either must buy something from elsewhere or sell something somewhere. I'll give you an example. Some few hundreds or so years ago America found itself with an abundance of land but had no labour to work it after working the indigene Indians into extinction, so they went and got cheap labour from Europe to come work it for them which meant they had to export some of the produce of their land to Europe to pay for it, hence globalisation, basilico, though it's as ancient as day since every nation had to sell or buy something elsewhere like you do with your boxers from China. Having not been able to acquire sufficient cheap labour locally and from Europe, America globalised to China who always had an organised workforce which is what makes them the giants they are today and makes them less susceptible to American exploitation, so America globalised to Africa where they found abundant cheaper and more coercible labour. Even today, bas, America begs people to come there or sell them some crude sometimes on their Biden knees, so why you would think America that has always needed to buy and sell globally to grow itself into the giant it is today would benefit from deglobalisation just confounds all sensibilities, basilco. Are you suggestion America leave the world to uber-globalising China and that upstart but failed Russia? Do you think those more intelligent refuse to learn from history like you bas? Trust me. Every time I quote you I insult my self. |
brightbright:I have to agree. I wonder what Nairalanders think though.
|
No he does not need structure, considering the choice before us. What he needs is that we Nigerians shine our eyes and minds. https://www.nairaland.com/7174733/president-tinubu-atiku-obi#113728916
|
Which do you think we would regret electing the least when they disappoint us, and why? |
Which do you think would do the least damage, and why? |
That seems to be the choice before us, though I will amend if other credibles are added in the comments. "Him too lie", applies to them all. "Him too thief" too, and some "too old", and some "no structure", yet one of them are we likely to be electing to be the next president of Nigeria. Which do you think would be best for us Nigerians, and why? |
Ibime:It is my opinion that you are far too intelligent for these magas, and we insult ourselves by acknowledging their worthless unfortunate existence. |
