You really are low in intelligence.

Is giving people a pass when they fail not exactly how to keep them down?

If you plan to give them a pass when they fail would you bother teaching them at all or fund the schools they go to?

interrsting, i wonder why the segregated asians, and people of yellow skin colour have less documented rates of homicide.
I assume you mean, in America

First, read this.

Now go research how black communities are educationally disadvantaged over the decades and tell me.

kkins25:
We are sick of the victim hood mentality. The jews that have thrived with their little population dont have three cerebrums.
I'll ignore you mentioned the jews. If you are sick of victimhood, don't you think you ought to stop victimising first, or you want the victim to just keep quiet while you go on victimsing them?

kkins25:
Juat the other day, on atwitter space some dude and his black fvking cohorts claimed Nigerians were getting benefits from the government and exploiting it to steal jobs from them.. one black man to another, you can imagine.
Just the other day on twitter some people were yelling fulani cattle kidnapped them and that don't make it true, so perhaps stop getting your information from twitter!

kkins25:
They just lazy - rap, rap and rap. Now theu do "lean" . if the place is too hard for them, they should getat and allow others to come jare. put the undians in their shoes and im sure we'd see wonders.
Its a good thing you can't be put in their shoes because it would have involved a chain around the necks of your forebears and whip scars on their backs, and if they'd sat you round the night fire and told you stories and shown you scars, I'm sure you'd see the many who are doing much better than Indians. And Jews.

And it is a braindead take. The white mass shooters get arrested because they surrender to the police. This is also the case for majority of the black people who get arrested.

The actual fact is that when controlled for crime rate, the rate of police violence disparity disappears. This is because black people are disproportionately represented in violent crimes such as homicide and robbery.

Yes, policing can be improved but to save black lives you need to improve the prospects of black communities and lead the youth away from crime. This is not achieved turning them against the police, once again I can point to New York and show you benefits of more involved policing.
Thank you.

Where's the lie though? Black people are killing each other on the streets everyday and nothing is being done about it.

Black people are twice as likely than the average american to be victims of gun homicide and it has become so commonplace that it isn't even newsworthy anymore.

Bismillahi rahmani raheem!
This is staggering - and shows what chasms I am up against.
Do not patronize me, deep! No one is putting you up against any "chasm".

The emotions felt for "a woman I am in love with", are pretty universal, barring outliers like people who abuse those they love.

If you are in the state of "a woman I am in love with", it would be pretty odd for you to abuse or batter her for instance, and if you did abuse or batter her most would conclude you do not know at all what love is or are not in the state of "a woman I am in love with".

Perhaps try anger. Say no one knows you feel angry, then consider all the tImes you been angry and people around you know you are angry and the degrees of it too.

The nuance of an emotion differs from person to person and even from instance to instance.
"Nuance". What a word to slip in, lol.

The emotion does not differ much from person to person, DeepSight. If someone tells you they are "a woman I am in love with", happy, joy are acceptable words to describe how you might think they might feel, You'd probably wish them well in their joy and would definitely not think they were feeling sad or suicidal however nuanced emotions differ from person to person. I think.

Yes, to an extent (-you cannot measure a subjective thing in the true sense-) but it goes beyond the capacity to measure a thing. You can never know how exactly I feel about say, a woman I am in love with. It is impossible for you to know.
Deepsight! I never read book, watch nollywood, bollywood, hollywood, seen people in love around me or loved myself, na only you "a woman I am in love with"?

I know you feel what is subjectively described as joy. And happiness. And gladness. Plus some, and I can't believe you label us ignorant and incapable of learning. angry

Yeah, the question / problem is if they would feel a strike as pain for example.
Why must the "question / problem" be "feel a strike as pain for example" ? Why not just "feel a strike" ?

DeepSight:
Can a robot be heartbroken?

Bereaved? Experience grief?
Ecstasy?

Get high?
As in, feel emotions, as opposed to sensing the phenomena of an emotion?

I can not imagine how a robot can feel emotions, though they can be designed to sense a strike, and measure it too. But can you see how the question might not only be what you say it must be?

Although there are mechanistic reasons for being skeptical about exploring the edge of the universe, I have yet to receive any such reason as to why consciousness requires an immaterial component. It is not the doubt in itself that is critical but the reason behind that doubt.
I like this! On first read I saw:

I have yet to receive any such reason as to why consciousness requires a material component.

Then I critically looked at the 'material content' and found it was required if I wanted to understand instead of stupidly create crap in my head and believe it is what I saw.

But at d end it will be all good for Ndi Anambra. I pray my state (Abia) learns.
I hope they are not like my Osun State people who voted Akande out.

They named him baba kilo because he ordered them not to kill two cows everyday for him and his wife can not finish a kilo a day. We voted him out saying this one no gree we chop, and elected looters in his place, and are now one of the bankrupt states that can't pay full wages.

. . . And do touch-screens "experience" a sense of touch? In short, do machine sensors have sensations - or rather - can they.
The purpose of sensors is the sensing of the sensations they "experience".

No?

We have to be careful here - because one is simply saying that a being capable of experience must exist in order for one to talk about feelings of any kind - and that machines are not such beings.
LordReed:
Well I have said I can only work with the facts available to me, I have nothing else to go by. Postulating that some ghost in the machine is necessary for pain to be felt or experienced is not a fact that I can examine to take into consideration. Based on the facts available pain is an experience that can be foisted on a machine albeit that is not currently possible.
A thermometer 'experiences' the temperature and 'talks' to you about its 'feelings'.

Consider.

I'm delighted you are a patriotic Nigerian. I am certain I do not need to convince you that these are things that other nations have solved by developing their own minds to get the best out of the environment they find themselves in and I believe we can too.

We haven't given up, liberation is there but who is willing to be nailed to the cross? wouldn't want to end up in jail like the president of humanist association of naija. nope.
Our problem is this stupid desire for a messiah to die for everyone else as if anyone is stupid enough to die for what they would not be alive to enjoy. But it's my fault. I'm not clear often.

Liberation is not death, kk, and suicide is not liberation, least not last time I checked. Suicide is giving up and if we die we failed!

Also, human sacrifice has been abolished, likely because it has been found to be ineffective, so we should not sacrifice any president for our liberation when there is so much more strenght in the little we all can sacrifice of ourselves considering how many we are. I mean, see how little sacrifice I am asking for here. It really is, educate your mind.

Please know that when you give up on Nigeria it is Nigerian you and me that you are giving up on, and you are saying we will never ever learn nor improve ourselves.

I personally do not believe you. I know you put in a lot of effort to improve yourself every minute of everyday and your personal improvement improves your surrounding and your surrounding is my lovely Nigeria which you improve by improving your mind.

Some might disagree, and be honest, not everyone is improving and some might not have even found their minds yet or think no one else is working hard like them to improve their mind too, but those who have found their minds? Most definitely very surely do I have immense faith in us to realise Nigeria is what we make of it and our Nigerian selves too.

Oh. I am definitely yelling!

In the lives of many people, the line between good and evil, righteousness and wickedness, right and wrong, is becoming blurred. In the lives of so many people today, the line is no longer there. To such people, there are no such things as good, evil, wickedness, righteousness, right, wrong, clean and unclean.
Christ might say, forgive them for they know not what they do, besides, did you learn nothing about the forest in your own eyes?

Pick up your own cross and do greater than I did shedding the Light so the darkness is overcome by the perfect seeds you sow that produce fruit a hundredfold, a thousandfold, a millionfold, for by them shall your God in heaven be glorified.

in your opinion, being naked is wrong?

It's the natural order to be naked. Evolution gave us clothes but like everything else in this world, we're going back to where we began
You are very funny indeed. Do you walk around naked in your own community?

There is one like that in mine. When he was young he drank and smoked his inheritance and now can not afford cloth and the ones he's given he doesn't wear. Every so often when he pisses folks off he'll be whipped and chased into the bush he lives in but other times he begs for food.

Evolution is not a supplier of manna that "give you clothes" nor does evolution give you anything else in this world. What you do is evolve your mind through learning and then do you sew clothes for yourself.

So is it very clearly written!

While you might have been waiting for Europeans to evolve you, Yorubas were well on the way. Islam had arrived with a book and clothes so you can not expect to us to acquire learning and still be walking around naked like you.

Most of Nigeria's Muslim population live in the Northern and Central states. Islam was introduced to northern and central Nigeria in the middle ages as early as the 11th century and was well established in the major capitals of the region by the 16th century, spreading into the countryside and toward the Middle Belt uplands. Shehu Usman dan Fodio established a government in Northern Nigeria based on Islam before the advent of European colonialism.
