HellVictorinho3:You can't be on my Christmas list Hell. You've done nothing worthy to be put on it for. Don't give up trying though. There's always next Christmas and the one after and lots more after those. You will overcome one day. |
HellVictorinho3:You need to go get yourself juju that works. This one you got is rather uselessly ineffective. |
MindHacker9000:You hacked your mind. Praise God! What you posted shows those people would have trembled and covered their eyes and ears to God if God but spoke or appeared before them. I mean, hear them, 18 When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance 19 and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.” See below those who dared to see God. Or rather, those God is written to have had mercy on to allow God to be seen.

MindHacker9000:Unfortunately for me, all I currently have is a book so I better open my eyes when reading it. |
Make this a thread and educate me please. |
azraeljaheel:You are a dishonest person who tells himself lies. Was help not offered to you when you said you were drowning. Did you not refuse to apply? azraeljaheel:Like, you so special? https://www.nairaland.com/6907353/virgin-birth-pagan-get-over/2#108809605 azraeljaheel:Or deaf? azraeljaheel:Ignorance, especially. And, dishonesty with oneself. azraeljaheel:I share with you my verse for the coming year.

HellVictorinho3:Merry Christmas |
azraeljaheel:Merry Christmas everyone. |
Amujale:You should outgrow being a bully. It is an assertion! budaatum: |
sonmvayina:Glad to see you didn't answer my question with a question then. sonmvayina:Then let buda be considered a teenager by you. buda will live. |
Magnoliaa:We could start with that one, I guess. I read your diary and the magic in your words provokes thought in my mind. I can not express them however because of that barrier which I think is representative of some other barrier. Do know that buda may be wrong. Only you know your mind. "Not be caged" means, express yourself. You are too able and knowledgeable not to. |
sonmvayina:Why? Would what I write change meaning by my age or will it make you regard more what I write, neither which I desire as I'd rather you maintain your objectivity? How old are you? |
Magnoliaa:Are you asking buda to tell you what your barriers might be apart from you posting in a diary where you can't get feedback? I apologise that buda is insufficiently qualified at reading Nolia's mind. |
Magnoliaa:Yes, Nol. Even dap and pillers. It is sinful to not love the creations of God. I have their type as family and love them despite, and I would be foolish to not love those who know not what they do. Magnoliaa:"Monetizing my writing" is the self imposed barrier on the power of the mind. In the beginning is the knowledge of the use of Words after which are all other things created and added unto thee. |
sonmvayina:That context will include the minds of those who "trembled and stood afar off" when they heard "the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking", and the minds of those who wrote the story, and the minds of those who now read it and claim they heard God, along with just about every major thought on the book and the written word throughout the history of time, and our collective context, and our individual personal contexts too plus some. Its not like your context is my context (perhaps due to different schooling, upbringing, effort, capability, interests, resources, time, location, etc), and we obviously do not place the words we've been using in the same context, as you must have noticed. That's why I like Jesus by the way. He is written to have said, "love your God", which many do claim they do, then he added, "love your neighbour", which most think they do though they don't bother with their neighbours context. I'm glad we are evolving in our understanding of the Prophet Einstein's Relativity. |
MindHacker9000:Hack what you read please. Are you suggesting the language of God that was very distinct when we read Moses heard God was, "the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking" that the people saw? Apart from the fact that they obviously did not hear nor see any God (except perhaps for Ogun the God of Thunder), do you seriously believe evidence provided by those who "trembled and stood afar off"? Sonmvayina, can you see even God coming from what you call "pagan" as opposed to what I'd call the religion of understanding what you read? |
Magnoliaa:Pity it's seen as arguing or that arguing is seen as a negative thing. Christmas is a huge opportunity to provoke thought by exchanging ideas and understanding of the fabulous stories behind it. Besides, Nairaland is family. With whom else shall I spend some of today if not you all here whom I dearly love? I like your diary a lot and have been meaning to tell you you place a barrier around your immense talent which must not be caged. |
MindHacker9000:The people did not hear God. It was Moses, we read, who told them what God commanded him to tell them: So Moses went back and summoned the elders of the people and set before them all the words the Lord had commanded him to speak. Exodus 19:7 Then the people saw a dense cloud and believed him. 9 The Lord said to Moses, “I am going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear me speaking with you and will always put their trust in you.” Then Moses told the Lord what the people had said. At no time did the people see or hear God except that which Moses told them. 25 So Moses went down to the people and told them. |
Magnoliaa:Why ask a question in a thread I can't respond in? Are you afraid I might answer? Christmas, as in the 25th of December, has been handed down from antiquity as sonmvayina was trying to teach here but failed because he does not quite understand [it] himself buda does not only celebrate Christmas Day with a long bath on 24th and a long solitary reflective walk on 25th then eat and drink after, buda observes Christmas in the entire month of December by reflecting on the kindnesses received in the year, reciprocating and setting aspirations. Christmas is after all an opportunity to consciously evolve and be reborn. It would be foolish and ungrowthy to not treat it as treasure. |
MindHacker9000:So people saw "a thick clowd" and claimed they saw God and you believe them? Don't you think Moses did a lot more than that they had seen that could have been enough for them to think he might be a prophet?

MindHacker9000:These people? Nice try! |
Amatarasha:I see you still haven't got cured of your misbelieve. I'll say a little prayer for you. budaatum:
|
sonmvayina:No, I don't think consciousness is a physical entity. I am conscious but I can not measure nor weigh my consciousness nor say what colour it physically is. |
sonmvayina:It is of no benefit whatsoever. These days we know it as murder. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_sacrifice?wprov=sfla1 |
sonmvayina:I have no take on human sacrifice apart from being glad it has immensely reduced over time. |
sonmvayina:One might "maintain" whatever one wants about the Gods but one must be mindful of idolism.
|
sonmvayina:You said that with regards to the Christian ideology you witness around you and not with regard to the Christian ideology you discovered by using your own heart and soul and mind and eyes and James Webb to ask and knock and seek an understanding of your own.

|
AmazonTopaz:Someone put Biden in orange disguise. |
sonmvayina:
|
sonmvayina:I don't know why you feel the need to believe anything at all but the choice is entirely your's. You might want to try understanding, though.
