wirinet: Nice question. You can have quite interesting conversations once you get your head out of Trump's ass. Just like an intellectual religious fanatic. You can engage in very thought provoking conversations until you talk about his religious beliefs. He then throws all reason out of the window.
Sorry for the banter....
Now my view on your brilliant question. I think electric motor will take over from internal combustion engine in small and medium size vehicles like bikes, tricycles and small saloon cars, because the power requirements to run small motors are not much. But for huge vehicles like trailers, busses and big cars, internal combustion engine will continue to rule for a long time. Huge battery banks can be complicated and dangerous, and begins to add significant weight to the vehicle itself.
I have always wondered why we don't start experimenting with building electric keke Marwa/NAPEP, as it is a small light weight vehicle used for short distance transportation. Their garage can also serve as a charging stating. If it's not that I am under extreme stress with the pressures of family and business this is something i would love to experiment with.
As for running them in Nigeria, we'd need to increase electricity capacity first as a marwa drivers might not like to depend on nepa for their daily bread.
kokaneprodigy: They went as far as saying the Hungary crash was Merc making Bottas take one for the team for the greater good. That is, it was deliberate.
I read some people saying that, but I think I'd be braindead if I use them as an example of the reasonings of sane people.
Adhering to your instructions, I tried to use my mature brain to analyse your thesis and commentaries on some teachings of the Bible, especially the story of Adam and Eve. At first you submitted that the entire story was "an allegory and it wasn't meant to be taken literally". You continue by illustrating the story of the King, his daughter, elephant and tortoises. Saying, just like the story wasn't a real story, so was the story of Adam and Eve. In conclusion you said that "There was no Adam. There was no Eve There was no Satan There was no God There was no fruit There was no garden of Eden"
However, in your second attempt to analyse your thesis further, you committed a blunder. Utterly contradict your first position by giving your own version of a story you earlier said never existed. A story you was just a mere allegory and not literal. But you have told your own literal meaning of it. How ridiculous!
I hope you understand that music is not buda, and that buda is not in the least concerned whether those things you mention existed or not!
Now, use your eyes and your mature brain and tell me if Adam and Eve surely died on the day that they ate of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, or did their eyes open and they gained wisdom and became self employed and went on to populate the earth?
He created Nairaland and populated it with us all to metaphorically “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground” so that we may bless ourselves.
And note how he has not asked anyone to bow down and worship him.
You all need to understand how and what he has empowered you to do, then might you get it.

DissTroy: What is wrong with you and selective blindness? I have posted and reposted evidence from official sourced that the age of consent in many U.S. states is very low.
In New York, it is 11. I didn't make this law. The evidence I posted with regards to the extremely low age of consent in New York is for 2021.
The New York Age of Consent is 17 years old. In the United States, the age of consent is the minimum age at which an individual is considered legally old enough to consent to participation in sexual activity. Individuals aged 16 or younger in New York are not legally able to consent to sexual activity, and such activity may result in prosecution for statutory rape.
New York statutory rape law is violated when a person has consensual sexual intercourse with an individual under age under age 17, who they are not married to. Punishment varies depending on the age of the offender. There is no defense based around lack of knowledge of the victim's age. https://www.ageofconsent.net/states/new-york
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill Thursday that raises the age of consent to be married to 18 — effectively banning child marriage.
DissTroy: In the U S., legally, the age of consent is 11 years old.
Are you baiting again, diss? Because I am very certain you know full well that the age of consent in US is not 11 years old, unless you are talking of sometime in 1880!
DissTroy: Kids? Adults? In Nigeria, since 2003 especially, the age of consent has been pegged at 18.
Problem is, by law, you can't jail minors that's why there are child correction services and and the likes.
Do people break this law? Yes. Have they always been brought to book? Rape convictions and the technicalities are still contentious issues in most countries.
Oh good, I see you already knew.
Do know that it is not the minor who breaks the law of consent but the adult. The entire idea behind age of consent is you can't consent before that age.
DissTroy: By the way, I also like how you folks deliberately skipped over the parts about child marriage in Nigeria when I provided evidence of the age of consent in the U.S. being as low as 11 years old in some states.
You have also skipped over the fact which I stated that cannibalism is condoned and legal is certain parts of the U.S.
If I had stated those two things about some parts of Nigeria, you would have picked on it and come out guns blazing. That's the prejudice I have been going on about and why people like me rack up statistics to fight back.
You'd already admitted you were baiting, so I for one just ignored you since I know you were lying. Repost it with evidence for your claim and you might get a discussion.
While you are considering, the age of consent in Nigeria, by the way, is 18 years old which is 2 years older than America's 16.
And please do not bring up the equivalent of some people stealing to claim we condone theft! We don't.

DissTroy: You are already biased against Nigeria in itself for some reasons.
Maybe step out of this thread and read buda in other threads. It would help you form a more accurate opinion about buda instead of the uninformed opinion you insist in making up in your head.
My own view is buda is Nigeria, and if Nigeria is shit, or a zoo as some claim, buda is the shitty animal in that zoo, and would soon become an animal in the jungle the zoo would eventually become.
We are Nigeria, is the point, as there is no Nigeria without we Nigerians!
Tdotbluejays: Hahahaha. I don't know how old you were during Abacha Era. It was Horrible. I remember Abacha sawdust stove due to economic hardship. As if that wasn't bad enough. He had secret agents all over the country. You would be scared to even curse Abacha in public else you will disappear
Nairaland would have been shut down tey tey sef if it had existed. You all would be too woke for him.
He sounds like he who wasn't even born at the time!
benalvino3: When abacaha was, teachers, pensioners etc were all getting their salaries in due time.
About GEJ, dollar was $150 a barrel was around $100 and even after Obama lead the idea to overflow the market to deal with Russia after their annexation of Crimea, naira was still floating at $120 to $150. In 2015 buhari got in and in less than a month the naira took a hit. Every since it has been bad but some how you are still managing to pin it to GEJ.
Abacha kept the thieves at bay. I will continue to say this. The thieves has shared gun like they are giving out vaccine shots.
How can a thief keep thieves at bay, Ben, and to what end if not to steal it all for himself as the evidence shows Abacha did?
Naira is strong when our main product is selling for a high price, and drops as the price of crude oil drops, which is what happened when Buhari assumed power. And if you know how exchange rates are determined, you'd understand you can't keep shipping Nigeria's wealth abroad without the exchange rate going up eventually. Those you are shipping it to would give you a discount while you keep shipping your money to them, and they'll charge you more when you want it to flow back.
If Gej era corruption had continued ₦1000 to the $ would be the norm today is what I think. Your admiration for Abacha kind of shows where your head is, I guess. He's the closest we had to that drumptf guy you also support so I am in the least surprised.
