HedwigesMaduro:Electric. Water. Salaries. Paying for olive oil and candles. Return of investment. Interest on investment. Need I go on? |
HedwigesMaduro:No. Though I knew soneone would come to the conclussion you have! Oyedepo is not "right", just as God enslaving Adam and Eve in a garden is not right, but what's wrong is you seeking employment with a bad employer as if you have not got a choice to go seek employment elsewhere! |
Angela4life:Funny, if true. Winners must have learnt this from the owner of the Garden of Eden, who got pissed off when his staff decided to stop being ignorant slaves and gained knowledge and wisdom for themselves. We all have read how he threw a tantrum and cursed them and kicked them out of his garden because they got too smart for his liking. That is exactly the same thing you have described above! The moral of the story is, remain an ignorant slave so your boss can keep you in employment, or get knowledge so you can become self employed like Adam and Eve did and who then went on to "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth", and populated the earth, so we read, with billions of humans, some of whom are now on the way to rule over Mars and Jupiter and Uranus, as they were originally commanded to do before some God decided to enslave them in ignorance in the Garden of Eden! |
Angela4life:Right? You talk as if he captured people, put chain around their neck and forced them to work for him! No be dem find work go him church? By so doing, they have given him the right to treat them however he wants, and if they don't like it they can simply refuse to work for him, if he has not chained them that is. Yes, he does have the right to monitor his employees and manipulate their lives so long as you agree to work for him. Every employer does it. They 'manipulate' you to wake up and arrive at work when they want you to and put in the number of hours they agree to pay you for. They set goals that you can only achieve by allowing your life to be manipulated however they want. And if you don't achieve the goals they set you, they have the right to fire you so that your life stops being manipulated by them. As for their survival, aren't they supposed to be the shepherd of the sheep in their flock? If they can't themselves survive, how the hell were they going to shepherd the sheep in their flock so their sheep survive? And if they can't even shepherd their own survival, is it not right that Oyedepo sacked them before they misshepherd the sheep in their flock? Oyedepo has not taken away their life nor whatever skills they may have, so they should just go look for employment elsewhere. There's lots of churches out there that would have them if they have the skills for the job, and if they don't have the skills as Oyedepo has claimed they should go seek other employment elsewhere. An employer does not owe you. You sell them your time and they use it to generate an income out of which they then pay you. If you do not make them a profit they'll let you go and they'll find someone who does make them a profit. Add Oyedepo the church entrepreneur, to the butcher and the baker and the brewer in the below and you might get my drift. PrideofLincoln1:You are mobilising to register to vote, you mean! |
PrideofLincoln1:You obviously only hear my own sounds, so welcome. |
benalvino3:So, when "police kill a lot of people", people inside would not intervene but wait for people outside to intervene? I guess you do not know how to protest. Go look at how people protested so Tommy Robinson got released. You posted it after all. And if Nigerians protest peacefully in the same way, I wonder how many people the police would justify killing before you inside say enough is enough. |
PrideofLincoln1:Thumb print or technology, is not the point here! Technology is after all being claimed to have been used to rig in Arizona, and Atiku claimed technology was used against him too! The point is, Americans, including yourself, mobilised for hours outside a polling booth in order to vote to get rid of drumpft, instead of cowering in fear at home claiming drumptf would rig the election and win! |
benalvino3:The reason police kills is irrelevant, dead is dead, and police anywhere should not be killing people, and they will only stop killing people when the people stand up and say enough is enough like BLM is doing! |
benalvino3:I guess you fail to understand that BLM and defund the police is fight against being killed by police and army, a right not given but continously fought for. |
benalvino3:Democracy is the means we are given to fight! We fight at the polling booth by electing the leaders who would give us what we want, in this case, the right not to be killed by the army. It is what we ought to be learning here, how Americans fight to be ruled by leaders who would rule them as they want. Instead, my people are stuck here yelling "left, right, coon, umudike" at each other! |
benalvino3:The pity is you think the army in US and UK just stopped killing its people, and so fail to see how the people themselves fought for the right not to be killed by their army. The army in US and UK will not attack its people because its people have dictated to its police and army that that is unacceptable. And when we Nigerians show our army that killing us is unacceptable, our army too will stop killing us. You got to fight for your rights instead of thinking your rights would be given to you without a fight. |
I dust myself off and learn from the experience to ensure my next application is better than the last one. And after gradual improvements learnt from rejections I would have improved myself and no more be rejected. |
PrideofLincoln1:You don't thumb print in America because you mobilised not to thumb print in America! When we mobilise in Nigeria we too would stop thumb printing. |
PrideofLincoln1:The part that makes me understand you are talking crap! If "carry the ballots into their bedrooms and votes as many times as they want by thump printing" is what wins elections, then you too go and "carry the ballots into your bedrooms and votes as many times as you want by thump printing". Except that this is a blatant lie you tell to convince yourselve your vote does not count so that you wouldn't bother to vote so the despotic leaders win! It's a trick that's been used from time immemorial and I'm amused you still fall for it. Are you not aware of incumbents losing elections in Nigeria? PrideofLincoln1:Is it not the mobilization of the people that will introduce electronic voting in Nigeria, or do you expect the despots whom you claim "carry the ballots into their bedrooms and votes as many times as they want by thump printing" that will introduce electronic voting? |
kayusely70: PrideofLincoln1:What is sad is you not knowing how to "voice out"! Did you "voice out" at the last US elections by marching off to Congress? Americans did not "voice out" by marching to congress, and in fact, those who ignorantly voiced out by going to congress are being jailed as they rightly ought to be. Americans including yourself, rightly voiced out on polling day by voting for whom they wanted, and we can all see the effect of their voicing just by checking to see who now occupies the White House! |
PrideofLincoln1:Rigged is a word you use to absolve yourself of the responsibility of having elected those who rule over you. The proper word is mobilization, as you've described what Stacey did. If we Nigerians mobilise we too would overcome any rigging done by those in power. They after all are not the only one's at the polling booth. |
triplechoice:Then they obviously deserve the reward for not doing the work! Adam was the same, preferring to remain a slave in the Garden of Eden for fear he would surely die on the day that he ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The religious Christians would insist he did die on the day he ate, but those who have eyes would see that disbelieving Eve who decided to use her own senses did not surely die on the day that she ate, but her eyes opened, and she gained wisdom, and became free from slavery in the Garden of Eden and is written to have gone on to populate the earth with billions of humans who have gone on to “be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth and subdue it. rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the face of the earth” and are now on the way to rule over Mars and Jupiter and Uranus and be blessed just as God is written to have instructed before some people decided to write that some God caged Adam and Eve in the slavery of ignorance in the Garden of Eden. |
Photoshoped!
|
PrideofLincoln1:This shows how much power the citizens of a nation can have over their leaders. Nigerians too should organise so their leaders fear them. |
PrideofLincoln1:Not agreeing with you is not "arguing just for arguements sake"! If rigging is set in place in Nigeria as you claim, go and rig better than those you wish to kick out! That is what Stacey Abrams did in Georgia. She outsmarted the so called riggers! |
How many percent of your mother's income was invested in you? Show us the account from when you began sucking her tit and we would be more able to calculate how much you should give her in return. |
PrideofLincoln1:Why would Buhari or any other despotic leader win if the majority of Nigerians stand against despotism and elect an undespotic leader? Should Nigerians be afraid of Buhari and their henchmen when he nor his henchmen would go and vote with them? Imagine if anyone in America said they voted for drumpft because they were afraid of him and their henchmen! Should we not be more afraid of the despotic conditions they impose on us if they do win? |
triplechoice:If they read their Bible, the afterlife would be the least of their concern when they are not halfway through their 3 score and 10 on earth. A person who is not saved from hunger can, or at least should not be rejoicing about what happens when they die. Christ afterall is written to have said, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” So why be worrying about some afterlife that might be 10, 20, 30, or 40 years away, when God is supposed to be anointing your head with oil today and preparing tables before you so you can share that table with your enemies and perhaps make them your friends? 'Jesus' is simply the Logos that opens eyes, and one has to do work to even understand what Logos means. While he spat on mud and rubbed it in eyes, one still must go bath in the Pool of Siloam before one can say, "I can see!" |
PrideofLincoln1:This fish, however, rotted from the tail that elected the head! If drumptf had won the last election, you would be here blaming those who elected him, so please do the same with regards to Nigeria instead of the equivalent of blaming drumptf for winning! |
PrideofLincoln1:I expect us to use our brains and not elect despotic leaders in the first place! As for your "saw right here on Nairaland the last local election in Lagos where a woman was thump printing so many ballots for the Party in power", perhaps go look in Lagos instead of listening to lies on Nairaland, but even if it is true, we all must have read that "the hunter has learnt to shoot without missing", so instead of perching and being shot, be like the bird that learns to fly without perching! |
triplechoice:I doubt its like democracy where the majority wins. No one needs to explain to lazy fuqs that they will indeed starve while waiting for manna to fall from heaven. Christ himself is written to have said the work is plenty but the workers are few, and a smart person would easily understand that those who believe are plenty but the understanders are few too. |
PrideofLincoln1:The system is the people, and not something that dropped out of space. We the people elected the president and local councillors, so blame us Nigerians if you must, and not Nigeria for what we have created! |
benalvino3:Hospitalised, but not dying like the unvaccinated! |
benalvino3:I don't need your help to understand you are not shit unless you want to insist. I would need evidence though. |
Tdotbluejays:The minister in charge is the mess, and he is not Nigeria! |
benalvino3:The death rate amongst the vaccinated has been presented to you numerous times but somehow you just can't see how it is much lower than amongst the unvaccinated so further educating you is pointless. |
