helinues:The Palestinians have presented their case to the 'world' many many times, but unfortunately the 'world' is more interested in protecting those they claim to share religion with than the Palestinians they do not share religion with. It is that hypocrisy that pisses me off, I must say. Just go look up what is going on in Yemen that the 'world' is quiet about because of whom they do business with. The United States provided intelligence and logistical support for the Saudi-led campaign. In March 2019, both houses of the United States Congress voted to pass a resolution to end US support to the Saudi Arabia war effort. It was vetoed by then US President Donald Trump, and in May, the Senate failed to override the veto. However, on 27 January 2021, newly elected President Joe Biden froze arms sales to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and on 4 February 2021, Biden officially announced the end of American support for the Saudi coalition. However, the details of the end of American involvement in the war have yet to be released. |
May the Lord God Almighty relieve you of your pain and heal you of your affliction. In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ the Messiah. Amen. AstroG: |
helinues:Fighting my oppressors is not senseless to me! Stop oppressing me and my fighting will stop, and if you kill me my children will continue the fighting until you exterminate me completely, I guess. I can not stop fighting while I am being oppressed! |
AstroG:I ignore your's. You are not worth the time. |
helinues:I am not in support of the war neither, but I do not expect the oppressed to not rise up just as I am not surprised that the Igbos and Deltans are fighting against marginalisation and the oppressed in the North will one day too. |
adedehinbo:See, AstroG. I am not the only one trying to educate you out of your ignorance. We can only hope you learn. |
adedehinbo:And the same to you. God is blessing you beyond measures, and you will live long and grace will always follow you everywhere you go. Amen. |
AstroG:I think you need it first, which is why you got it. But I beg you not to use it please as your death does you no good. |
adedehinbo:I join you in standing proud against injustice and genocide. |
All US administrations strongly support Israel's right to defend itself against rocket fire.I can only hope those agitating for war in Nigeria can learn from this. They think they are Jews but do not see they are more like the exploited Palestinians, and when they rightly fight Nigeria for raping their land and resources, US administrations will, like the hypocrites that they can be, ignore their agitation and support Nigeria's right to defend itself just as they did in the past. |
AstroG:I don't argue. Especially not with fools who have not got a clue. I educate you instead and hope you learn. But if you do not learn I live because your ignorance does not affect the dinner on my table. |
Conrod:And Germany is today the most industrious nation in Europe just as Made in Aba could have been the seat of Nigerias equivalent of Tesla, Audi, Microsoft, Google, Alibaba etc. How I wish the so called Biafra land will fight a development battle like China is fighting with America, and make their region the most prosperous and developed and advanced region and the envy of the rest of the entire Nigeria, but instead many divert their resource and energy in destroying Nigeria without realising they destroy themselves in the process. There is time though so there is hope. P.s. Admit you do not understand what I wrote above. That's why you've......... You know yourself. |
Amazing that you'd assume to know what I think or whether I am crying or not. Thing is, I am crying, not so much for the Palestinians who's land is being stolen by Israel, but for my own Nigerians, the one's who's land and resources Nigeria is stealing to feed the rest of you, and specifically for you who will starve when the resources Nigeria is stealing finishes. The mere thought of how you will suffer makes awful tears of pity drip down my cheek and I am glad you feel how awful I feel for you. AstroG: |
I should expect to hear from the numerous youths here who will attend this conference of the biggest gathering of Nigerian Youths in leadership and Administrative offices. So indicate if you will be attending and report back what happens there please. The future is yours. |
RingRoadMafia:People say it to justify their own bad behaviour. Its like some Nigerians would say everyone is a thief just before they themselves go and steal, and despite the fact that the mothers and fathers of some of them have never ever stolen a single kobo in their life. |
Euouae, you got there before me. Thank you. |
This is for the extra mark just so you know I'm hardworking.
|
Markbrowny:I wish people would post maps to educate but I know it is much better you set me homework to go educate myself! Correct me if I am incorrect please and thanks in advance.

Interesting. I heard some people were eating lizards and cockroaches!

Now, if this were for Nigeria, I might engage, but since it isn't......

“The fact based on appropriation records is that about 91 per cent of the current funding to the Armed Forces go on recurrent overhead, salaries and welfare, leaving only nine per cent for capital purchases".Now, people will think that is insufficiently balanced somehow, but I will have you consider how much of the education budget goes on capital purchases like chalk, computers, chemicals for chemistry, and cockroaches and rats for Biology practicals and so on and so on, or how much of the health budget is not used for salary payments, and also how the Armed Forces budget compares to the health budget and the education budget combined. I'd post data, but I'm currently indisposed and unable to search where I am, if someone could kindly oblige me please. |
Time flies. It has been 32 years already since the generally known rental criers called Nigerian Press began an unwarranted brouhaha over this country’s membership of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) in January 1986. That incident is another conspicuous goof mischievously exhibited in a press conference recently by a group that calls itself National Christian Elders Forum (NCEF). It is however on record that the baseless press conference turned out to be an exercise of self ridicule. How Nigeria Joined OIC |
Let us inform you so your wonders are up to date. The Oluwo of Iwo land, Abdulrasheed Akanbi, has defended his adoption of the Emir of Yoruba land title, saying it was a “metaphor” of the disunity among traditional rulers in Yoruba land. The Oluwo on Saturday formally adopted the title of northern traditional rulers at the installation and ceremony of an Islamic scholar, Yahquub Abdul-Baaqi Mohammed as Waziri of Yorubaland. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/263655-why-i-adopted-emir-title-and-why-it-will-stay-oluwo-of-iwo.html

Akwamkpuruamu:By your reasoning, all those all over Nigeria that voted for Buhari must support boko haram too because they must have supported what Buhari supported for them to vote for him. Do think a little now before you quote a response. |
nzeobi:And who says being a hypocrite is uncommon or a crime? Can one not say "Lord Lord" and end up weeping and gnashing one's teeth? |
nzeobi:With no intention of insulting, please educate yourself. Every Northerner does not accept all Sharia just as not all Christians obey Christian laws. Some laws are just used to oppress. An example is the cutting off of the hands of petty thieves but not the hands of those who steal millions, and the stoning of adultrous women but not of adultrous men. |
KingsleyWabote:Some really should learn from others. Instead of ignorantly repeating the mistakes that others have made. Omoluabis are responsible well behaved people!

I posted that this was fake news and how Hitler was bad enough that one does need to lie about him but got banned for 24 hours, which makes me wonder if some love lies more than the truth. |
nzeobi:Go to Northern Nigeria to see the numerous Northerners who do not want Sharia law imposed on them and perhaps you would have sympathy for the oppressed Northerners instead of assuming all Muslims want boko haram type Sharia law. |
The phrase that Nigerian militant group Boko Haram had been "technically defeated" is ringing increasingly hollow. Seven months into his first term in 2015 President Muhammadu Buhari coined the term, but the group and its offshoots have never gone away. The military has managed to retake territory and dislodged the fighters from some of their hideouts. But a recent spike in deadly violence, focused in the north-east, where the Islamist group began its insurgency in 2009, has led many to ask what is at the root of the authorities' failure. Already this year there have been nearly 100 attacks, according to one estimate. A number of military bases as well as towns, including Geidam and Damasak, a hub for aid workers, have been overrun. Hundreds have been killed and weapons, food and medicines have all been looted. There are six main reasons why Boko Haram has not been defeated despite the government claims, experts say. 1: Root causes not addressed
