Civilians, or citizens? If the later, our duty as citizens is to exercise our democratic powers to be responsible for educating ourselves to be intelligent and competent enough to turn our nation into the amazing wonderful country we have the potential to turn it into. Reference |
ablejesus26:The question was "why are you proud to be a Nigerian", and not, why do you insist on being an animal who turns your country not so much into a zoo but into a jungle. |
mcjohny:First, its my country. Second is our immense potential especially after the youths educate themselves, which I see them doing here at Nairaland University. We will after all one day get rid of the old guard or they will just die a natural death and and then those youth will be in charge of turning Nigeria into what they want it to become, and by 2050, if not long before, or by 2100 by the latest, Nigeria will be the new world power and I am proud in advance for what I see we have the capability to achieve. Not having such faith and hope in Nigeria is like saying I, buda, a Nigerian, is too useless to fulfil my potential which will be a blatant lie considering how much effort I daily put in to educating myself to be sufficiently competent to fulfil my potential. And I can see that I am not the only one who understands that our country Nigeria is whatever we Nigerians make of it, be it bad or the good powerful nation we can all be proud of. For the short answer please see below.

Foookaaa:You must blame us Nigerians for voting for those who do not offer what you want. When we want a government that will provide us with "equitable environment" or "restructuring" or "seccession" or "dissolution" even, we will vote for those offering it instead of accepting a loaf of bread and a litre of kerosene or one congo of rice for our vote. And, no Sir, it is never too late to vote for what we may want! |
hotwax:You hate the North that's why you label Northerners bandits? Hotwax please speak for yourself instead of deluding yourself that you speak for "we", because we Southerners are not all so ignorant to just hate people because they are from the North. If you can read, you'd see that I do not pander to bandits, Northern ones nor Southern, yourself included. budaatum: |
hotwax:So, in your opinion, the attackers and the attacked are the same people? I guess you'd agree then if I said, it is southerners attacking themselves too right, and when southerners want to stop attacking themselves they will just stop attacking themselves or are your standards just so doubled that you about to attack yourself, hotwax? |
It is odd that I might be beginning to agree with you, subject to confirmation of the following. budaatum: budaatum:And if true, one of them for President and the other for vice, as soon as we can resolve this first. Astrog, read and be educated please! Ignorance is a not a good thing to chose! |
I agree with Mr Sunday. An attack on the North is also an attack on the entire Nigeria, and the attackers must be hunted down and served justice. |
Jostoman:Point of correcting you Self determination is your right to vote for your leaders, which is a right you already have! |
Is Nnamdi Kanu now realising Nigeria is one indivisible country, and his new mantra will be "Nigeria Kwenu! Nigeria Amaka"? If so, let me buda be the first to say: Nnamdi Kanu for President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria! Subject to confirmation by his future actions. Do note me yelling below before quoting.
|
November1857:I beg, succession now. Abi me buda get any powers to stop you successioning? Just that whatever you do do sensibly and wisely please. Succession (meaning) 1. a number of people or things of a similar kind following one after the other. "she had been secretary to a succession of board directors" 2. the action or process of inheriting a title, office, property, etc. "the new king was already elderly at the time of his succession" |
I think I might have been busy with other things because I never "heard Nnamdi Kanu Broadcast Yesterday" and my own part of the "whole world" did not as much as shiver not to talk of "shook". Anyone got it please? |
Some want make Osinbajo run by force by force ![]() |
Kanu is just pissed off that Super Eagles players, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi have, with their right to freely speak, declared for Nigeria. It's not as if Biafra will be sending a team to the Olympics or the World Cup anytime soon after all. |
DaveDave001:Did you not try this your "a tooth for tart...an eye for an eye" during the Civil War? How did that pan out again, I forget? I think you think you are Israel, when in fact you might be those poor oppressed Palestinians who's land the Israelites are grabbing like Nigeria is supposedly grabbing your land and assets. Perhaps see what an intelligent Igbo said below.

There you go. The first 2 confirmations that Southern Nigerians are divided. hybrid11: FreeIgbos:Any others please? |
seguno2:I do agree with you. |
They will welcome you in Israel https://www.independent.co.uk/independentpremium/long-reads/black-lives-matter-racism-israel-palestine-jewish-refugees-ethiopia-us-a9646526.html

60 by 60. Also remove the 40 by 40s in the other rooms and replace them all with 60 by 60 since those are the ones you prefer. The crossroads some are between! |
Can those who comment here confirm for us that a Southern Nigeria will have something in common. The way you will insult each other makes me doubt you are not divided, so share the love so I know how wrong I am. |
seguno2:One might as well ask if the government should be "giving the N76billion we want to give to youths and share". As I said, that part may be wrong, but that we lose money on not rearing cattle in ranches is very right. UK imports its meat from very faraway Australia and New Zealand. If we are comparable on quality and price of production, we'd beat them on transportation. |
Odd. Not, "Lord, let there not be crisis in this nation", but, “If there is a crisis in this Nation, I will be the last to leave here,” he said. Ah well. At least we know he wouldn't go to UK. |
Kebbiprince:I do agree with you. They talk now but did nothing when they were in power, but as I said above, ranch is not government business. He could have provided a favourable environment however. |
seguno2:No one says government should give money to any business. Entrepreneurs can find their own money, buy land and set up a ranch. |
We can do with some music I guess, specially since everyone is going to be Nigeria's next president. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kunle_Ajayi?wprov=sfla1 |
Funny thing is, it is true. But instead of we Nigerian doing ranch on our own land we leave it to uneducated herders and end up eating substandard meat. budaatum: |
LordReed:Good thing is it links well to his past, which goes to show one can not sin against the Spirit and so easily get away with it.
|
WhatCanIsay:Did Allah own me to begin with? |
PeaceJoyLove:I posted what I did because of you. I was amused you spotted his wolfness despite the sheeps skin he cloaks himself in and felt not talking would be irresponsible of me. |
