Your argument is a little skewed. The Image of God which was created on the sixth day is Man and given authority to rule, dominate and subdue the earth. The Image of God needed an earth suit in order to fulfill the purpose of his creation which was what God formed in Genesis 2 probably after the 8th day as you said. Your above, the bold, precisely, is thoughtful for making it seem like God was in the Image of Adam, whom we presume had a body like yours. Yet, I bet you wouldn't agree that God has a body like yours, or would you? Was God made of mud too?

But of course you are just trying to weave your belief into the text which clearly states, according to KJV, that "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them". And they were given the duty of rule, subdue and multiply, while Adam of mud was placed naked in a garden to tend it, and was paid less than the Image who's job was a lot more.

The thing is, those who brought you the KJV also believed for about 1500 years that Adam was the same as the Image of God. It's how they too were colonised by those who took the Bible to them. And so they don't see the truth themselves, the Bible was kept in Latin. But they eventually ate fruits of knowledge and translated it into their own native language, and their eyes opened so they could see that God had created two different forms of humans, one to rule, and the other to be slaves.

Pity is, instead of now spreading their own new understanding, they sold you their old abandoned one, and enslaved you with it, and here you are.

Thankfully, you can't live forever fearing knowledge will kill you.

If there is something at the root of reality, it cannot have been created by mere men who only began to exist yesterday.

All gods are imaginary and made up by those who wrote books or preached about them.

Not one single god referenced in my exhaustive list of dead gods ever really existed, and the fact that humans are ignorant about a universe that is billions of years old does not mean some god or entity must be behind its existence or caused a big bang.

We do not need to call "whatever is at the root of all reality" god, as that implies a god is at the root of reality, when reality itself shows thousands of gods have been at different peoples' realities at different periods in time.

Humans created all gods in times when they didn't have the ability to research and know better, but we current humans do not have that same issue because we can read the books in which gods are created so that we may know.
