Looks like right wing media will spend next four years attacking Dr Jill Biden for being educated, they did same thing with Michelle Obama.

Eh it's like conservatives hate educated women.

This "quarter-a**ed excuse for a magazine article written at the level of Simple English Wikipedia" and "not an addition to the sum total of human knowledge", is an undignified admission by right wing media that trump lost and the Bidens will occupy the White House.

If only we are patient and learn that good things take a while to develop.

Sounds like the same to me. People break lockdown rules in UK too.

Stop hoping "white supremacist mentality is rid off us soonest".

Ile ni a ti ko ẹsọ re ode, so start by saying the below in your local dialect.

aboyaji:
As much as I keep an open mind for learning, I'd still keep that certain level of modesty towards passing my message.

Why would one wait till his language is generally accepted by the public before using it publicly?

Histories are made and kept by legends. Legends are not the high and mighty. They are like you and I . If you let inferiority complex overwhelm and smother your chance of achieving or letting the world know you, you'll be gone as the wind. Are you telling me that if I became a footballer tomorrow or a renowned figure in the society, that I a limit to my language? NEVER.

You're identified by what you do.

Arsene Wenger is fluent in 7+ languages. He's a commentator in football too. If you never let the world see you for who you are, you'll be sidelined like the rest of the masses.

Do you know that when a particular player from Africa is seen speaking his native dialect after winning the man of the match, the emergence of a translator would be, and it'll be the new normal?

I guess and hope white supremacist mentality is rid off us soonest.

I'm telling you because you talked about learning the other time.
"Talked about", and not, "told you" to learn to read and to reason with your own mind and brain as Jesus, amongst many others, taught.

But you do not have to. As you may have noted, there are many who survive and even thrive without the proper use of their minds and brain.

I seriously doubt the existence of another wave of covid -19 in Nigeria.
To me, this is just another dumb scheme for the gorvernment to make more money than the one made before.

Covid -19 is real yet I haven't seen a single person affected by it in my area.
You remind me of a certain trump who said "nothing to see here", and is now soon to be jobless because he refused to see the 400k who died and only believed Covid19 existed when he got rushed to hospital.

You all must have not heard of Mary Toft who gave birth to rabbits!

In September, 1726 Mary Toft began to give birth to rabbits. The local surgeon, John Howard, responded to her family's summons and hurried to Mary's house where, to his amazement, he helped her deliver nine of the animals. They were all born dead, and they were actually rabbit parts rather than whole rabbits. Nevertheless, this didn't lessen the amazing fact that she was giving birth to them.

John Howard excitedly wrote to other men of science around the country, urging them to help him investigate this bizarre phenomenon. Soon two prominent men, sent by the King himself, arrived to investigate: Nathanael St. Andre, surgeon-anatomist to the King, and Samuel Molyneux, secretary to the Prince of Wales. Mary explained to these men that she had recently miscarried, but that during the pregnancy she had intensely craved rabbit meat. After unsuccessfully attempting to chase down several rabbits, she had dreamt that there were rabbits in her lap. The next thing she knew, she was giving birth to rabbits.

In the presence of the doctors, Mary continued to give birth to even more rabbits. The men performed tests to verify the reality of the phenomenon. For instance, they placed a piece of the lung of one of the rabbits in water and noted that it floated. This meant that the rabbit must have breathed air before its death, which could not have happened inside a womb. Amazingly, the doctors ignored this evidence and decided that there was no deception involved—that Mary really was giving birth to the rabbits.

The Rabbit Babies of Mary Toft

They teach about her in UK schools. I have always said that the level of reasoning of some is stuck way back in the past!

Is Portuguese an official one? Or speaking Argentine make it one?
Could you provide us with figures showing how many countries and people around the world speak either language please? We can then compare with the most popular ethnic languages in Nigeria and work out how many would understand one speaking a native dialect.

For you information, Argentinans speak Spanish! And yes, Spanish and Portuguese are both "official languages", or are at least both spoken internationally and across many borders and in many countries as you'd find if you do homework.

You didn't say it. But the religious people think religion is compulsory.
There are also some who think Trump will be sworn in as the President of the USA on 20 January 2021. Thankfully, only buda thinks for buda.

HellVictorinho:
The issue is that many religious people see atheists as lunatics.
Then those religious people need Jesus Christ to spit on the ground and make some mud to rub in their eyes so that their blindness be cured and they see. Unless of course the atheist is behaving like a lunatic. In which case, it is the atheist who needs Christ to chase the demons out of him or her into pigs.

Religion is like school. You congregate before the altar to learn how to read from the pastor teaching in a class. Unfortunately, there is no graduation date so most sit there repeating the class until they are brainwashed and unable to think and reason for themselves. If they read the book they'd see Jesus never enslaved his students to the pew.

I think its the same reason you did not post your op in your own native dialect.

So, tell. Why did you post this in English?

aboyaji:
Are Nigerian football players not allowed to use their own native dialect while being interviewed?

I could still remember the likes of Messi, CR7, Ronaldinho, and etc use their native dialect to answer some questions during and after each game.

But why are our players limited to English?

CR7 even posts with Portuguese on Twitter and Facebook, likewise Messi.

But our brothers always use English throughout.

Let's not even talk about colonisation here, abeg. Somebody is vexing already sef.
