first and foremost presidency is not an award, its a call to duty.. but reverse is the case with Buhari... he has succeeded in making life tough for the common man despite all his vein and empty promises.. the masses pay extra for everything without getting anything in return or maybe just some set of individual been the beneficiary.... The few Nigerians that are working hards to make end means and better the economy are been killed by Bandits and Fulani and he his not doing anything about.. and yet you clamouring for the citizen to work hard to develop the country? is it under this oppression or what?
Then forget about country. How about you just better your self? Or would you give up because bubu is incompetent? And besides, why are you calling someone else to duty instead of calling yourself?

If you are being oppressed, then stand up and fight for your rights goddamit! Though, you see those Fulani, at least, especially the almanjeris? Their oppression is far greater than you can imagine, and if we don't fight to educate them (you better read that as, "force education down their unwilling ignorant throats"wink, they will just become more bandits and terrorise us even more, even if you separate them into a country of their own.

Do you not still see budaatum THAT THEY HAD "WISDOM" AND EVERYTHING ELSE That You Know And Say That They Wanted To Acquire BUT THEY ONLY THING THEY LACKED WAS THE ABILITY TO DECIDE IF ANYTHING WAS GOOD OR EVIL? grin

Or is that how you hate to See? grin
The evidence is in the book that they had no clothes, and insufficient wisdom, and I'd add, no freedom and definitely no knowledge of good and evil, so no, I do not see that the two slaves in the Garden of Eden had everything they even needed to do the job that God gave them to do which was to "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

As you can hopefully see for yourself, countries like USA, and China, and India, and Pakistan, and Dubai, and lots of Europe and etc, eat the Fruits of the Knowledge of Good and Evil every day and are growing in Wisdom and Being fruitful and increasing in number; filling the earth and subduing it. Ruling over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground, and even going to the Moon and Mars Uranus, while we Nigerians are starving ourselves of the Fruits of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and wailing that bubu has not given us ordinary light!

May our eyes not remain in the darkness of ignorance.

I can just hope your rapture watching includes loving your neighbours instead of looking for rapture here and there day in day out.

Eg just as you thought Adam and Eve just committed a little wrong, look at the several wrongs that they Commited.
Poor Adam and Eve. They sought Wisdom by eating the Fruit of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and we read in a book they were punished for getting wise, and free from slavery, and unnaked.

What a lousy description of God, smart people will definitely say! Does that God support boko haram too? Or has satan meddled with Genesis?

The only reason anyone thinks Buhari is dead is their own brain is dead.
Christianity Etc › Re: Will A Loving God Really Burn People In Hell? by budaatum: 11:24am On Dec 20, 2020
I very much doubt it, though many claim God will.

You know like when you were naughty as a child and mummy said, "wait till daddy comes home"? I think it's like that, except when you become an adult and mature you don't need mummy telling you daddy is coming before you know to do good.

Besides, an Almighty God telling lowly me to forgive "seventy times seven times" must forgive like seventy million times seven million times at least before casting anyone in hell. And personally speaking, if I sin that much I think I'd have to assume I'm living in hell on earth already or something, because that's just way too much sinning for one single lot of three score plus ten times seven, even.

But I guess I ain't dead yet so don't you dare think of asking me about heaven.

Lol, you go to Europe and start speaking Yoruba when you know fully well you can speak English....some will start saying inferiority complex... nobody force you to Europe, if you want to speak your language go to your village, internationally, Nigeria is regarded as an English speaking nation.
Yes it is o. And it would be like carving one's food small to reduce one's audience by speaking in a dialect a minority speak.

Just writing here in my own dialect will exclude everyone who doesn't speak it, and even a lot of my dialect speakers who can't even read it.

That said, I am after an English to Yoruba translator for my village people who can't read English, because teaching them English is taking forever and some.

CodeTemplar:
So you are a agent of this Buhari govt?
I never said the loan I'd give you was coming from Buhari now did I?

No, I am not an agent of Buhari nor any government agency. I find them to have always been corrupt and rather selfish and useless and a barrier to progress so I do not set up boat with them but take full responsibility for myself.

I am now however adopting a religion, as in joining in worship with a group of like minded people who are willing to be responsible for themselves so we can work with tons and tons of sweat and effort to be the change that we would all like to see.

Lazy fuqs and wailers are strictly uninvited!
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is The Essense Of Religion? by budaatum: 10:39am On Dec 20, 2020
First, a definition.

Religion is what you do when you join a group of like minded thinkers, or doers, depending on the religion you join, to learn a way of life that helps you achieve your goals and desires. One word for it, is to be a 'follower of' or a 'go together with' those whom you share goals and desires with.

One might join a religion that gives eternal life in heaven, for instance, or one of critical thinkers, or one of mathematicians, or one that advocates that you take responsibility for your own existence, or one that enslaves you to others, or one that prays for manna for 4 hours every morning, each joining a religious group according to their wishes and goals and desires.

To simplify however, let's just say a religion is an ideology by which a person chooses to live ones life and achieve ones goals and desires.

CodeTemplar:
What are the things a religion should do in man's life to show that man has found the right religion?
A right religion will progress your existence on earth, assuming most want to see tomorrow that is. It will empower you to ameliorate difficulties you may face in life and help you achieve your desires and goals. If your religion helps you achieve yiur goals and desires, you probably have found right religion for you.

CodeTemplar:
Should it be effortless wealth, health, or brilliance like in the garden of eden in the Holy Bible, or fame, good job, love, charity, generousity or to grow old and have seeds ?
If those are one's desires and goals then yes. Don't know about the "effortlessly" though, unless you mean like manna falling into one's mouth while sitting on ass doing nothing.

Generally, most things, good things at least, do tend to require some sort of effort.

CodeTemplar:
There should be something that we assume a true religion must address in a man's life to prove the authenticity of that religion.
The only thing to assume is that it works for the person who practises the religion. It's like beauty, in the eye of the beholder.

Some might for instance have a religion that is geared towards being a successful farmer so they religiously wake up early to go work diligently on their farm, while another might have a religion that would make them be good parents so they work hard on a religion of developing their family and children. Some might have a desire to be wise so they adopt a religious way of life that increases their wisdom, while some might have a religion that makes them go to heaven so they religiously do whatever will give them a ticket to the heaven they wish to go to. Some may have a desire of olosho fuqing so they adopt a religion that will help them fuq olosho, while some may wish to get a loan for their business and would not adopt a religion of do nothing but wail and starve.

One chooses one's goals and desires and adopts a religion that helps one achieve it, and if the chosen religion does help one achieve one's goals and desires, it is most definitely the authentic religion, for one.

Chai, hungry bad o but ignorance is definitely worse. Instead of thinking what you can do to improve your lot and your country's many think bashing bubu and buda is going to put food in their belly it seems. Yet, look inside the heads of some and emptiness is all one finds, at least going by many comments here. And not that I blame you all. Trust me, I know it is my fault that you are starving and just hope that next election you would bear it in mind and be more responsible so I do not inflict another bubu on all your lazy asses.

film3four, please, this is the full video if you could replace for the one in your op so serious people would not miss it, and perhaps learn that Nigeria good or bad, na we make am so.

First step to being properly informed is to call Buhari what he is !!! A massive failure
Bubu may well be a massive failure to those who were relying on him to put food on their table, but I never had such notions, having lived through almost every leader Nigeria has ever had and who have all failed, most worst that bubu. Still, we elected him so we are responsible for his failing and should next time perhaps be wiser in whom we choose to lead us.

We are a democracy, damn it. Rule by us for us. And we better wake up and realise it instead of wailing for a messiah!
