Why the emotion? Have you been fueled by your hatred of your fellow human being? Or did you not hear Christ tell you that:

Alex9999:
One last try, as we have lost track of the original premise.
Sir! I know you are educating me freely and I have not paid you any fees, but do note that that is more the reason for me to pay attention and be the best student I can be. If I have lost track, I will humbly submit to a whipping, Sir, for I should have paid attention to the education you freely give me.

The track began with your statement below:

Alex9999:
The typical African mentality: since I'm suffering others should too. Well, false on this one. Buhari would have been arresting up and down; Trump has no such powers.
To wit I wrote the following:

What makes you say that?

Bubu 84, yes. And imprison their asses for like 200 years. This bubu, though? You joke!

And you responded with:

Alex9999:
When asked if he was going to concede if he lost the election (this is Buhari before the last election), he said there is no chance of losing. You go figure and enjoy your weekend.
And I have been trying to figure ever since how one deduces that "there is no chance of losing" means, "I will not concede".

I do not accept your 'we' in "we lost track", is my point, since it is my strong belief that I at least never lost track.

Alex9999:
When Buhari refused to concede....
Sir! I believe this is a test of me paying attention again!

As I have said above, we have not yet arrived at the conclussion that "Buhari refused to concede", not to talk of "when", which is precisely where we are along the track.

Alex9999:
When asked if he'd concede,(in his own words not mine) he said it was out of the range of possibility.
Sir! His own words which you yourself provided were, "he said there is no chance of losing".

Forgive me, but that to me can very safely be construed as "losing is out of the range of possibility", but to add "will not concede" to his words will not be "in his own words, as you now state, but in your very own new words.

Alex9999:
To address additional points you raised (because I appreciate your lack of personal insults and deem you worth responding to).
Me, Sir? Insult my very wise tutor who offers undeserving me free education? Please be assured that I thy student buda will jump into the hottest region of hell first!

Alex9999:
American institutions are way stronger than ours, and if Buhari had concluded he was cheated, I think the betting man would bet on the current Supreme court supporting that stand.
I think that betting man would have lost his money for thinking a Supreme Court that did not support Obasanjo's bid for a third term would support a non-conceding Buhari remaining in office. But that is a moot point after the fact, and unnecessary speculating. Besides, he does not have to concede, as we are finding with trump, who, concede or not, will be packing his ass out of the American Aso Rock on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue on 20 January 2021.

Personally, I will not be submitting myself to the tutoring of a person I have no faith in, and as you can see, I do submit to you, an institution in your own right, and a very strong one at that. So strong, I do believe, that:

Buhari would have had to vacate Aso Rock if he had not won or you and I and millions of others would have burnt Aso Rock down around him I would have bet, especially since Jonathan taught us how a president who lost must concede, and how we learnt to kick them out from when we kicked Babangida out. And if that don't work, we will most definitely Abacha his ass.

I can only say so because of the institutional strenght that you and I and millions of Nigerians would have called upon to kick him out if the circumstances had called for it.

I can only pray that I remain worthy of being educated by a superior mind as thine.

You keep mentioning UAE, but I bet you do not know UAE is one of the most liberal nations in the world with a ministry to specifically promote tolerance, which is the most precise definition of libertarianism you can find.

The UAE is the only country in the world that has a Ministry of Tolerance, a Ministry of Happiness, and a Ministry of Artificial Intelligence. The UAE also has a virtual ministry called the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence.

Am I the only one that gets charged up whenever I listen to or read the lyrics of the National anthem, especially the 2nd stanza. One reason I love watching national team football, there's something spiritual about the national anthem and there's everything spiritual about this country, and until we return to the one above who giveth directions, this country may never move forward.

What a wonderful rendition.
What an experience.
#TheExperience of Peace.
No, you are not the only one charged up whenever I listen to or read the lyrics of the National anthem.

We danced in the streets when it was adopted in 1978 and replaced the previous national anthem, "Nigeria, We Hail Thee", which I also continue to love.

Both are calls to Nigerians to activate and fulfil our great and unique potential as Nigerians and along with our Pledge, a map of the way to it.

The pity is that rather than seeing it as a call to themselves to be the change they want to see, too many are deaf and expect the government to be their messiah.

You can tell by the many who have not pledged here.

How I wish more people will see the individual achievement of the singers and try to emulate it in their own endeavours instead of jumping on the government without apparently realising we the people are the government who need to commit to our own endeavours so we don't become slaves to conditions we create.

Where are we who were wondering how badly the Gop would damage themselves.

Pretty badly, won't you say now?

DEMZEE:
Texas GOP chairman suggests ‘Constitution-abiding states should form a UNION’ after SCOTUS tosses election suit.

The Texas Republican Party chairman has blasted the Supreme Court for establishing a “precedent that says states can violate the US Constitution and not be held accountable,” and proposed a new “union of law-abiding states.”

State GOP chair Allen West floated the idea on Friday following a decision by the nation’s highest court to throw out a lawsuit brought by the Texas attorney general, which alleged that mail-in voting measures introduced in a number of states before the 2020 race were unconstitutional.

“The Supreme Court… has decreed that a state can take unconstitutional actions and violate its own election law,” West said of the ruling, noting that the lawsuit was “joined by seventeen states and 106 US congressman."

"This decision establishes a precedent that says states can violate the US constitution and not be held accountable... Perhaps law-abiding states should bond together and form a Union of states that will abide by the constitution."

Brought by Texas AG Ken Paxton, the suit looked to bar four key battleground states – Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin – from casting their electoral votes, asking the court to shift the selection of new electors to the state legislatures. Seven out of nine justices ruled to dismiss the case on Friday, however, stating that Paxton had not “demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections.” Though Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas issued a dissenting opinion, they, too, said they would not have granted relief to the case, only suggesting that the court hear the complaint.
