I'm a graphics designer and Web developer.

I have worked for many Nigerians, but what I noticed is that when they need the work, their pressures will be on you an be messaging and calling you time to time to followup on their work.

But once you completed and submitted the work to them, the ghost-mode has started, some will stop reading your messages, some will stop picking your calls, some will even goes as far as picking up up fight with you and the worst they'll start posting you for payment, like my bank network is bad, I want to sleep, when I wakeup I'll pay and many silly excuses in order not to pay.

Some people even relate with you very close that, you won't even know how to charge them for some works and you'll expect them to pay you well after deliver their works, but they'll still go ahead and pay peanuts.

Especially people you have being working with for a long time, takes this long time business relationship as Avenue to not pay for some little works. Let's assume you have designed a logo for some and he has paid and he later asked you to render the logo on a bus or brand a car for him, they'll expect you to do that for free, because they've paid you for the logo.

What do you think we can do as servicemen and servicewomen to curb this. This concern almost everyone I expect everyone to say something about this.

The American Ground-Based Midcourse Defense System (GMD), formerly known as National Missile Defense (NMD), was first tested in 1997 and had its first successful intercept test in 1999. Instead of using an explosive charge, it launches a hit-to-kill kinetic projectile to intercept an ICBM.

The current GMD system is intended to shield the United States mainland against a limited nuclear attack by a rogue state such as North Korea. GMD does not have the ability to protect against an all-out nuclear attack from Russia, as there are 44 ground-based interceptors deployed in 2019 against any crossing projectiles headed toward the homeland.

(This interceptor count does not include the THAAD, or Aegis, or Patriot defenses against directly incoming projectiles.)
The Aegis ballistic missile defense-equipped SM-3 Block II-A missile demonstrated it can shoot down an ICBM target on 16 Nov 2020.

In November 2020, the US launched a surrogate ICBM from Kwajalein Atoll toward Hawaii in the general direction of the continental US, which triggered a satellite warning to a Colorado Air Force base. In response, USS John Finn launched a missile which destroyed the surrogate ICBM, while still outside the atmosphere.

There is a reason why USA tries to always be close to the borders of the countries they view as threats and that is to make for an easy ICBM interception while it is still outside the atmosphere. They have the tools and they are very effective

The crux of the matter is they can't intercept them.

Perhaps they can intercept ICMBs, but not hypersonic missiles.

Hypersonic missiles have no defence.

The US is currently failing in their attempts to build it, but China and Russia already have it.

Additionally, missile defence systems are only good on paper. They mostly work on older, slower missiles.

They can also be overwhelmed by large barrages.

In 2019 Saudi's oil refinery was attacked with low-lying drones.

They had air defence systems from both the US (Patriot) and Europe (I believe France and Germany).

Didn't help them at all.

The destruction from the attack cut Saudi's oil production by half.
