This is an entirely new website, launched late 2008.
at the moment, calls are still going out to credible estate agencies to get their properties online on the site, which accounts for the low content (property-wise) on the site, i guess u guyz can do better than criticize, but to join hands with others who are faster than you in thoughts to make something AT LEAST work in Nigeria. LETS JUST PUT SENTIMENTS ASIDE FOR ONCE.

there is a directory on your local system u named football_files  and in them, you have all your images. (so says the links). but as it it now, it seems you just went into the the football_files folder which contains both ur html and image files and uploaded em to the web just like that. I dont really know how to put you tru this from here but i will suggest that you ZIP THE FOLDER , send it to me, lemme trouble shoot and send it back to you. send it to judokah2002 at yahoo dot com

of course after troubleshooting, i will tell  u where u erred so it doesnt repeat nxt time.

Your post is realy interesting, Actually, the main target of this website is to reach the property owners themselves.
Where they can personally sell their properties themselves and save the economy by sidelining some dubious characters in the name of Agents.
It brings transparency into play.

Kris, upon my 1st visit to ur site, i stoop mouth aghape (if thats the spelling anyway).

You really have done a great job, nice graphics, but like Yawa has said, the graphics are too big in sizes, if u culd work on optimizing them, fine, then the music files, try and research on ways to make music files smaller, even if you dont use encoder or compressors, google for how to stream music files online, u culd put all in one folder and the player piks em from the dir one after d other,


right now, am using google chrome, i see several, multiple, wasting spaces right below the side you have your Powered Link (Designed By, ).
I will suggest you test this site on all browsers to adjust any wahalas.

3. To answer your question, YES, when you move your domain, u are definitely going to lose your data. Its like formating ur PC, u still have ur PC but ur data is gone. So, I'll advice you download your files using a website copier (if u dont have any, google for one). it downloads ur entire site and it runs like u are on a local server.

thanks webdezzi, but, search and replace using dreamweaver can be a disaster on open sources, almost all links are configured the same way with the functionalties of the program.

any slight mistake in the source codes renders it useless and u know bulk search and replace in DW is irreversible.

i had an issue lately, i had my index.php directed to home.php , search engines culdnt get me listed cos of the re-direction, i had to copy the entire content on home.php to index, now am waiting for another two months for search engines to crawl me up.

If you want something else, you've got to register something else,

its not like changing folder names on the computer, i have to go for a new name, point it to the same DNS u used for the orifish whateva, then remove the orifish DNS also,

talk to ur host, they should be able to do this for u. (thats if they are customer friendly)

Just two weeks ago, a close friend of mine who happens to be a starting web dev called me for assistance on a site he is working for a client, they needed an advanced picture gallery on the site and he culdnt handle it. This guy was calling me like all he had on earth depends on me,  i told him to come to the office which he did immediately (this is something that wulda taken him days to come)

We negotiated,  i asked him to pay 30k,  but he pleaded to 20k,  told him 25k was ma last,  he agreed and asked me to please make up the demo so he can at least show to the client what it will luk like,  because its only then they can pay him.

I accepted,  went online,  searched for an opensource application,  got one,  configured it,  uploaded it a directory in ma coy website for him to at least show em, when he was ready, he said wat he agreed was 20k, i mumushiosly accepted o.

Just on Sunday,  7th Dec, 2008. He sent me an sms that he had handled part of that job he was supposed to pay me for because the guy was on his neck.

With rage,  i replied,  "NOW WHAT DOES THAT SIGNIFY",  he replied,  i WILL PAY YOU SOME MONEY"

Now see what someone you call a friend can turn out to be?

The open source app had a back link to the website of the creators,  he followed it, downloaded a new one and configured it,  previously, i already empowered him with how the whole configuration is going to be so he can at least defend himself when need be.

Una see backstabbing? Its the fourth time an issue will arise on a deal i have tried making with him,  i wonder how come i havnt learnt my lessons.

He has arranged for a meeting in ma office tomoro,  10th Dec 2008, am still thinking of what he would want to offer me as payoff and if i shuld take the money or not.

Am really annoyed even as i dey write this thing.
