PoliticsRe: Why Is President Jonathan Always Reading From A Teleprompter? by Bukkyade: 10:18am On Oct 09, 2012
ifeci: the answer is simple! the man is so brainless and clueless that he can't put two words together on his own! BTW, I wonder how many committees we r going to have at the end of this regime!? mayb another committee shld b set up to chck hw many committes hv been created so far undecided
Aren't you tired of logging on to Nairaland to talk rubbish? It is not a must that you must talk all the time. Its none of your business the number of committees he sets up to help him achieve results. Provided he achieves results like the AIG committee, there is no problem.

abeg OP help me tell them ooo. GEJ has given every citizen and tribe a level playing ground, but people misuse these chances. i can proudly say, that he is the messiah for this country and the earlier we accept that, the better for us. Ride on Mr president.
PoliticsRe: Fg Alone Cannot Solve Insecurity- Maku by Bukkyade: 12:04pm On Oct 05, 2012
The Minister of information has not said anything new to all of us. It's common knowledge globally that policing is a collective effort. Our problem in this country is that we are so disoriented and disenchanted with the system that we fail to acknowledge the citizens role in Governance.
An average Nigerian will like to see asphalted roads across his territory but wouldn't bother paying any form of tax or toll.
An average Nigerian will like to have 24 hrs power supply and pay little or nothing in return.
An average Nigerian will like to have proper and qualitative health care without paying the right bills. Ironically, they will cough out x10 for that elsewhere.
An average Nigerian will like security but will be the last person to report anything suspicious to the police
PoliticsRe: Dame Patience Jonathan Suffering From Cancer Of The Uterus - P.M News by Bukkyade: 8:01am On Oct 04, 2012
All these reports are silly and false, and besides when did Nigerians start to care about the health of the first lady.
I don't think GEJ owes anybody any explanation, cos is his wife and personal issues.

floriana: By Moyo Fabiyi

@NigeriaNewsdesk: Nigeria's 1st lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, is being treated for cancer of the uterus at Horst Schmidt Klinik in Wiesbaden, Germany: PM News

Its getting interesting.
1. Rest
2. Food poisoning
3. Ruptured appendicitis
4. Tummy tuck
5. Full body work
6. Fibroids removal
7. Parkinson disease
8. And now cancer of the uterus
9. ??

1-7 was reported by Sahara Reporters but PM news has broken another ground with number 8. Why won't Jonathan just open up and tell the nation what's up?

This is a very sincere appeal, cause no president can rule alone of we the citizens don't support him. We all need to join hands together and move this country forward with prayers, Nigeria would be a better place.

Have you ever heard of any government instituted probe into the oil sector in the history of Nigeria? Let's say the truth. This is the first time in Nigetia where government deliberately set out to clean up the oil sector and expose oil thieves in the process hence all the crisis with PENGASSON and oil marketers.

The AIG IMOUKEHDE committee which established fraud of almost half a trillion in subsidy management was appointed by FG through Ngozi Okonjo Iweala.
Many doubted that the report will not see the light of the day. But today, the report is not only out but being used as a basis for the prosecution of oil thieves including sons of influential PDP leaders. It has never happened before. Govt is also for the first time recovering stolen oil funds of about 400 billlion.

In power sector, we have never had it so good with power generation. Critics will want to attribute it to rainy season but I have seen over 27 rainy seasons in Nigeria and it has never been this good in power stability.
Mr president, Continue your transformation and privatisation drive. Genuine Nigerians are behind you

You are the biggest fool for not having anything meaningful to contribute apart from this trash. You don't even know what he said else you wouldn't be misfiring tnis way.
Somebody said a Senate's resolution is not binding. How is that bad or untrue? You would rather have proved him wrong than go on a voyage of insults. Are you for real?
PoliticsRe: Jonathan: Fear Of The Unknown Forces Nigerian Leaders To Stay In Office by Bukkyade: 12:01pm On Sep 27, 2012
I just wonder how people think on this forum, because others are talking and writing comments. Some blind ones want to talk too. if you want to criticize, you should do that with a better plan and advice, not jus come here and rant.

MAYOWAAK:

[b]Mark described Maku's comment as a careless talk. His words: "He (Maku) didn't think properly. I think the information minister is a careless talker. It was a careless talk. I hope that the president cautions him and calls him to order. He shouldn't educate us; we should educate him. For any minister who talks that carelessly next time, we will take a resolution asking the President to sack him. For those who ask ministers to bow and go when they come here for screening, this should be a hard lesson."

http://www.ediong.org/2012/09/mark-to-maku-youre-stupid-minister.html?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter
Mr Senate President, just listen to your self . "for any minister who talks carelessly next time, we will take a resolution ASKING THE PRESIDENT TO SACK HIM"

If your resolution is binding and not merely obligatory, you don't need the president to sack after passing such resolution.
If your resolution is powerful, then it should take automatic effect without the president's action.
You sounded very petty. You are the one who talked carelessly

The town hall meeting was more of a show, and it really got people talking which was the mean aim. The chairperson of Abuja market woment association stole the whole show, with her comments and observation especially when, she said "na una dey chop meat, I no dey chop" ,the woman is a real comedian. Nice job by the NGG tour team.

PoliticsRe: National Media Tour Of Projects In FCT - Day 3 by Bukkyade: 3:27pm On Sep 23, 2012
Louis88: Pls don't let yourself to be consumed by hatred and malice. Look at the amount of venom you are spitting over a govts decision to showcase their achievements. What is your grouse? You are not happy over these projects or what? If you are sad and live in Abj, I suggest you go and hug the new power sub station built by Jonathan in WUYE.

In case that one will not serve, you may also jump into the new water treatment plant built by Jonathan. If you are still not satisfied, you may climb to the top of the World Trade Center under construction by Jonathan and jump down from there. Another easier way to show your beef for Jonathan's achievements is to go and stand in the middle of the 10 lane Airport road project or the inner southern express completed by Jonathan. Finally, you may go and lie on those railways presently under construction. BAD BELLE PEOPLE
Abeg, help me tell the saddiest, that they are over 20 ways to die on GEJs project he should choose one.

Countryman93: The National Good Governance Tour entered its day 2 with a visit by the media team to Maitama Extension District, outer Northern expressway, Usman Dam Gurara/lower Usman dam, Kubwa satellite town, Kagini District 1 Abuja North West Phase 4.

The team led by the Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, was accompanied round by FCTA officials to the project sites.

In line with his transformation agenda, president Jonathan had embarked on aggressive development of Maitama extension which has a total of 1700 plots of high density, low and medium density buildings, covering 231 hectares.

This district was awarded in May 2011 and took off in October 2011, at the cost of 23.65 bn Naira with 100% Nigerian engineers and local content geared towards Local capacity growth. It has a road network of 21km which is under construction by Mangrovetech(a local construction company)

The tour extended to Usman Dam in Bwari where the Jonathan administration
is constructing a 20,00m3/Hr Lower Usuma Dam Water Treatment Plant. The project has reached 96% completion and will be the largest water treatment plant in Africa when it is commissioned by December.

In addition, there is an Abuja water Masterplan. It is designed to supply 80 million litres of water to Abuja residents to avoid water crisis as seen in major cities. Water is supplied through gravitational flow from Usman Dam. Tanks 2,3,4,5 have been done and set, tank 1&6 are 90% completed and will be delivered(tank 1 December 2011) tank 6(2013 April). Tank 1 in Dawaki will supply 40 million litres,Apo will give 40 million litres. Each tank has 4 compartments of 10 million litres each and the distance between Dawaki and Apo projects is about 68 km of twin pipeline which is 80% laid. This project was awarded in 2006 and was abandoned till GEJ stepped in through the FCT minister Bala Mohammed

The media team also visited the outer Northern expressway Lot 1 & 2.
It is a 10 lane expansion road project covering over 20.3 km length.
The project was awarded in 2009 and has reached 85% completion under the Jonathan administration.

It has a 3 interchange structure,Ring roads, bridges, drainages all completed. The street lights have also been completed but are on testing and will soon be energized.

The media team inspected ongoing construction and massive infrastructural development of Kubwa satellite towns, Kagini District 1, Jahi etc. The pictures are attached herewith.
Wow! That's massive

Countryman93: some times i wonder the kind of thinz people post in this forum! some folks see sanusi as an option to Pdp.i guess they dont know he is Pdp made abi? i think some folks jst choose not to be inteligent. Anyways a gang of Sanusis + buharis + tinubus and the likes cannot decide against the ordination of God no matter the mathematics and political formula. we always tend to forget the God factor in leadership. well Goodluck to all those northern Goliaths and wisemen who see GEJ as a push over in 2015. i seet another rude shock and final knockout awaiting the evil establishment that see themselves as the everlasting residuary of power and resources.time will tell.

but sanusi's recent public image fits that of emir of kano even with his new turban and title. his best bet is to keep to that emirship race or else he will CPieCes. but what now happens to the presidential hopeful and tweeter giant ELRUFAI? but seriously am happy for GRANDPA BUHARI! wish him well in the land of final political retirment. Adieu from nigeria's political arena as u join ur folks ibb, abdulsalami, obj, gowon etc in final retirement. for me, its his wisest decision ever. he will be fondly remembered as the most aggressive former presidential contestant. u have brought fresher air to our politics by this actual withdrawal after ur withdrawal in principle last year. cheers
