I wonder what it takes to set up productive industrial areas in different parts of the country and dedicate constant power supply just for them alone and those people produce most of the things we waste Forex importing in this country.

With all the supply of gas and crude that we have successive governments has been unwilling or unable to think of a way to harness our resources and huge population of comparatively cheap labour to massively industrialize the country even if it means borrowing to do it. After 10 years those places will be worth it if managed properly.

Now all the government needs to do is provide promise of power supply to entrepreneurs and lower their tax burden or even give them tax free opportunity to work for 10 years and see if Nigeria won't be better. The only problem is that no one will want to invest in a thing that may not yield dividends in his time so that his successor will not take most of the credit for completing it. It is an African malady. We want to be the forerunner and the Messiah at the same time. Hence the lack of foresight that characterizes our leaders.

No thinking heads in the leadership positions of this country. Just vicious kleptomaniacs and morons not even fit to manage a village development project in 1895.
