A Facebook user with username @ Queengirl Nadia Francis, has taken to the social media platform to shared some shocking videos which show the embarrassing moments a young Nigerian girl who was caught stealing in a jewelry shop in Malysia and were forced to UnCloth to reveal the stolen items.

Queen captioned the post;

“Hahahahahaha…make una see slay queen when go thief jewelry for shop for Malaysia. Later them go come dey do slay queen, pepper them gang for facebook. Lol..thief.”

It is clear that singer Kcee don't give a damn about the buzzling topic on the internet urging Nigeria singers to stop showing too much flashy lifestyle so as not to affect the youths negatively, as Kcee tweeted that showing off is in his DNA and no one can bully him into living differently.

In a recent chat with Saturday Beats, the LIMPOPO master, opened up about how he struggled to get to where he is today, despite many thinking he had finally arrived upon winning the Star Quest talent hunt show.

I left Ajegunle because we were unable to pay our house rent and the landlord threw us and our property out of the house. I was wearing only my boxers when the landlord threw us out of the house because we could not pay N70,000 for a three-bedroomed flat. My father started squatting with some people while my mother went to her sister’s house. My brother and I had to hustle. By then, we had won Star Quest so we had a rickety car, so we slept in the car. At the time they stole our car, things were tough because all our property was in the car.

We were living from hotel to hotel and all we had was in the car. Sometimes we owed the hotels a lot of money which we paid after we had a show. To get shows then was even very hectic for Presh and I but we still believed that God would help us. By then, E-Money had to move on to learn how to be a freight agent. He later found his feet. Leaving Ajegunle was divine because I believe God sent the man to kick us out. After we left Ajegunle, we stayed in a room apartment in Ojodu before we got a place in Omole. After a while, E-Money started doing well and we bought a duplex in Omole, then he bought a piece of land and continued buying and the rest is history.

The same thing with me; we grew up gradually and there was no time we were greedy to go into crime or defraud anyone.”

On his and brother E-Money’s flashy lifestyle and how it is possible the source of their money might be tinted, Kcee said:

“My brother is not into drugs or anything illegal. We are from a Christian home and we are very careful with our lifestyle and what we do. Our only weakness is that we show off. We like the good life. My brother is a hard worker. For about 17 years, people have been saying that we do drugs or 419 but why have we never been caught?

Why haven’t we made a mistake? Why hasn’t someone come to expose us? When we had issues with some of our team members that left recently, a lot of people were waiting to hear that we were into illegality but they did not say that. My brother is a hard worker who is into clearing and forwarding, oil business, real estate, etc. He started from the scratch. He used to be my manager when I was with Presh but he left to start his own business.

It is just the grace of God. When I was playing football, I was doing very well. I started with football and the first time I travelled out of this country, it was through football. I never saw music coming and it was something I did by the side. My brother and I laugh whenever people make statement like that. He does not do anything negative. If not, people would have come out to expose it. I am sorry but no one can make us change our lifestyle because it is in our DNA,” he said.

The discovery of dead bodies of a couple on their matrimonial bed threw the residents of Idioro area of Ogijo, Ikorodu, Lagos state, into mourning yesterday being Friday 23rd June 2017. Though nobody could state categorically what led to the strange death but neighbours suspected they were hacked to death by the notorious group, Badoo as a grinding stone was found on them.

Eye witness’ account claimed the couple known as “Baba and Mama Seun”, both residents of Ekundayo, ESCOBA, lived in an uncompleted building and were last seen on Tuesday night but when neighbours did not see them, it was assumed they have travelled out of town.
However, their immediate neighbour who kept her cell phone with them the previous day, dialled their mobile numbers severally to request for the phone but their phones kept ringing without response. This baffled the neighbor who continued to dial the numbers until Friday before she decided to draw the attention of other landlords who banged the couple’s door to no avail.

The neighbours later peeped through the window only to behold the gory sight of the couple on their matrimonial bed tucked in a mosquito net but stinking. The alarm was immediately raised and Policemen from Ogijo Division were intimated about the development.

The door was then forced open with the arrival of the Policemen and a grinding stone was found on the bodies which suggested to the sympathizers that the attack was carried out by the dreaded cultists in Ikorodu known as ‘Badoo’ though nobody could give details of the operation.

Eye witnesses’ account said the bodies were moved to Sagamu while the grinding stone was taken to Ogijo Division for further investigations.

Baba Seun’s children were spared of the attack for the fact that his first wife was said to have divorced him about 11 years ago and she went away with all the children. However, the man remarried about a year ago and the marriage was yet to be blessed with children
The couple’s assailants were suspected to have gained entrance through one of the open windows though the net was neatly removed and later fixed after the operation.

Breaking: Senior Special Assistant To Taraba Governor, Sylvanus Giwa Slumps And Dies In His Office

Taraba State thrown into mourning as Senior Specially Assistant to the state governor, Sylvanus Giwa slumps and dies while discharging his duties in the office.

Sylvanus Giwa, the Senior Special Assistant to Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku is dead.

According to multiple reports, he reportedly slumped and died in his office at Government House in Jalingo Taraba state capital. Information regarding cause of death is yet to be ascertained but sources say that Giwa had some health challenges prior to his death.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Audu Ogbeh, has said the country will commence yam exports to Europe and america on June 29. He said 72 tonnes of yam would be exported on the said date.

A statement by the Special Assistant to the minister (Media), Dr. Olukayode Oyeleye, in Abuja on Thursday, said Ogbeh disclosed this at a meeting with members of the Committee on Nigeria Yam Export Programme.

The minister said the inauguration of the yam export would be done at the Apapa Port and would be exported in three containers of 24 tonnes each.
According to him, one container exported to the United Kingdom, while the other two will be taken to the United States. The minister appealed to the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service to reduce inspection charges on export produce to encourage more exporters and enable the country become competitive in the export market.

“To make yam competitive, we will work on the packages and the right types of trucks to be used for transportation of the produce. “Oil and gas cannot employ millions of people, just like agriculture; so, we must work hard to move from oil to earning foreign exchange from agriculture,’’ Ogbeh said.

The Chairman of the committee, Prof. Simon Irtwange, said they were working with the Nigeria Export Promotion Council to commence the process of the export. An exporter, Mrs Elizabeth Nwankwo, the Chief Executive Officer of Oklan Best Limited, the move would help to rebrand the image of the nation and acceptability of the country’s produce at the international market.

NAN recalls that the committee was inaugurated in February to facilitate the acquisition of warehouses at the receiving destinations, address markets in Europe and Canada. It will also sensitise farmers and exporters on required international standards of yam before exportation.

The committee is made up of representatives from the Nigerian Customs Service, Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service and the Nigerian Ports Authority among others.

I don't know why all the sacrilegious things in this world emanates from the so called "advanced world" and yet Africans will waste no time to start copying them. Which is all we have learnt how to do very well over the years. This issue even begs the question; what is religion and values.

Imagine this couple are brother and sister and they are married and expecting a baby. Something that in African values, it is the greatest atrocity man can ever imagine to commit.

Suffice to say, it is the same people that brought religion and values to us and we copied and obeyed them without resistance (I now know that religion is just what they put together to make themselves the masters and we as the slaves. What better way to hold Africans as slaves when slavery is been abolished) and now they are forcing Africans to embrace the act of homo-sexualism and now this. What next?

I won't be surprise to see Africans toeing this part in the near future because all an average African, especially Nigerians want to be is to become and be evolved like the Americans "advanced world". I sincerely hope that Nigerians know that former President Goodluck Jonathan lost 2015 elections just because he refused to sign homo-sexualism into law.

Well, this is the next trend now. A man who lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife, who also happens to be his sister, has taken to Twitter to explain why he tied the knot with her. Sharing a photo of him cradling his sister/wife’s baby bump, he said love cannot be controlled and as such he chose the one he loved even though they are blood relatives.

In his words:

Forth largest telecom company in Nigeria, Etisalat Nigeria on Tuesday wrote to its staff after the take over by a consortium of banks.

Chief Executive of Etisalat Nigeria, Mathew Willsher, in a memo, acknowledged the challenging business outlook for the company in the wake of the development.

He added that negotiations allowed the refocus of its energies on the financial, operational and strategic priorities to help the company emerge better and stronger from its current position.

Titled: “A Message From the CEO”

Willsher said since February, most staff were understandably anxious about the future of the company and the place of the workers in it. He alao said he was proud that the staff continued to apply their strengths in service, results and internal support to move the business forward on a daily basis.
“Our renegotiation with the banks are not yet over.

But, our shareholding structure is evolving,” he said. “This morning (Tuesday) Etisalat UAE notified the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange of the forthcoming transfer of their shares to the appointed security trustee of the banks. The exact nature and timing of the transfer is still under discussion.

“But, we still expect the final transfer to be done in a coordinated manner.”

According to Daily Post, he said discussions were equally ongoing to address the different management, technical and internet protocol-related implications of the move, including the continued use of the Etisalat brand name to trade in Nigeria.

Wilsher assured that business would continue to operate, considering that planned exits was expected to be carried out with the banks, industry regulators and other interest groups. He noted that Etisalat’s immediate priority was to ensure there were no disruptions to its daily business operations.

“In spite of the changes that lie ahead, we aim to maintain continuity through our focus, capabilities and values. “We will continue to focus on the customer. Our commitment to delivering results through innovation, operational excellence and quality of service will endure.

“We will also be guided by our core values of passion for excellence, integrity, one team one mission, growing our people and empowering our people.”
Wilsher urged the staff to join their various leadership teams for briefing sessions in all offices across the country, to help answer their questions on what the changes mean to them and the business.

The Federal Government of Nigeria on Tuesday 20th June, 2017 filed 11 grounds notice of appeal against the acquittal of Senate President Bukola Saraki of 18 counts of false asset declaration and other related offences by the Code of Conduct Tribunal. The CCT had earlier on upheld the no-case submission which Saraki filed.

The notice of appeal was signed by the lead prosecuting counsel, Mr. Rotimi Jacobs (SAN), and an Assistant Chief State Counsel in the Federal Ministry of Justice, Mr. Pius Akutah. In its notice of appeal, the Federal Government said the judgment overruled previous decisions of the Court of Appeal on the charges.

It added:

“By the provisions of paragraphs 11 (2), (3) and (13) of Part 1, 5th Schedule to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended), once the Code of Conduct form filled by the public officer is investigated and found to be false or that some assets are beyond the legitimate income of the public officer or that the assets were acquired by means of corrupt practices, the public officer concerned is deemed to have breached the Code of Conduct and it is for him to show to the tribunal that there is no infraction in the form.

“The honourable tribunal wrongly placed the onus of proof on the prosecution contrary to paragraphs 11 (2), (3) and (13) of Part 1, 5th Schedule to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended).

“The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) clearly excluded the presumption of innocence on the allegation of infraction of the Code of Conduct by public officers and the Tribunal wrongly applied the presumption of innocence contrary to the constitutional requirement.

“The tribunal’s decision is unconstitutional and without jurisdiction.”

The Federal Government sought two prayers which includes “an order setting aside the ruling of the Code of Conduct Tribunal delivered on June 14, 2017 upholding the no-case submission raised by the respondent (Saraki) at the close of the prosecution’s case” and “an order calling upon the respondent to enter his defence.”

The appellant stated that the CCT “failed to analyse and evaluate the evidence of prosecution witnesses.”

The notice of appeal reads in part;

“The learned members of the tribunal, in their consideration of no-case submission, failed in their duty to look at the offences charged, the ingredients of the offence and the evidence adduced by the prosecution before upholding the respondent’s no-case submission. “The learned members of the tribunal failed to analyse and evaluate the evidence of prosecution witnesses before reaching their conclusion that there is no case made out against the respondent.

“The tribunal failed in its duty to point out the material evidence adduced by the prosecution witnesses touching the ingredients of the offence charged that was discredited by the respondent’s counsel during cross-examination.

“The learned members of the tribunal failed to consider and apply the decision of the Supreme Court in Daboh v State (1977) 5 SC 197 at 315, where the Supreme Court held that if the submission is based on discredited evidence, such discredited evidence must be apparent on the face of the record and that if such is not apparent, then the submission is bound to fail.

“The learned members of the tribunal failed to point out any apparent discredited evidence on the face of the record before it upheld the submission of a no case. “The tribunal failed in its duty to point out the essential ingredients of the offences charged and the evidence adduced by the prosecution to show that the available evidence could not establish the ingredients of the offences.

“The tribunal failed to apply the provisions of sections 302 and 303 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015 in upholding the no-case submission made by the respondent.”
