Where do I start from I've been stranded just by headbridge from Onitsha to Asaba 10.30pm I've been stranded in Okene on my way to Abuja 2.30pm I've been stranded along Benin-Ore road on my way to Benin 5pm I've been stranded before MM Bridge in Lokoja on my way to Abuja 11.30pm I've been stranded in Oshodi on my way to Gbagada 7pm I've been stranded by Opic on my way to Benin 11am I've been stranded by Basiri, Ado-Ekiti on my way to Ibadan 1pm   oh boy oh girl I'm just being modest in my list, wetin my eye don see ehOr is it in Warri, Enugu, Ilorin, Sokoto, Jos I beg... then you said I won't worship God and be humble? I must worship God and be humble. This is simple business principle. Demand and supply. On a very simple note, I went to Jara stores and saw pineapple for a slightly higher amount than I saw its worth. Then later I went to our traditional food market and saw a stack of pineapples on the ground just at the entrance which had been abandoned by the owner because they had become over ripe and rotten over time while being shaded no one bought! Well, as for the pineapple the seller probably placed a high price that no one agreed on, let's say N500 then when the seller saw it was getting riper she took it down to N250 until probably to a buy one at N100 get one free tag, till no one still priced and that stack got bad. It's sad Market, business, pricing, demand and supply, all complex, simple, sad, happy, tact and opportunity! Well, as for the crude oil Nigeria has had no reason whatsoever to leave PMS at 125 or whatever amount the independent markets sell. Nigeria Is Not Prepared For All Archetypal Issues In A Depression! (As an aside you must agree with me that the issue of covid19 is not well managed, too many secrets, unprofessional approaches and lies, cover ups, looting, diversions, one sided palliative, ridiculous palliative. ) Now there is a glut our beloved technocrats, OPEC, NNPC and all the people will fat bucks should now reason that all this while we ought to have had oil banks, reservoirs to store PMS or even the oil in its crude form, it won't expire, evaporate or congeal ! Also they should stop being insensitive and further reduce the price in the downstream sector in all forms especially diesel and kerosene. Don't let anyone deceive you, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo or the multitudes of tribes in the south and everywhere are not our problems ...the bad people doing the harm and the good people saying or doing nothing about it ARE OUR PROBLEM. can you imagine someone laughing, scorning and insulting me because I decided not to litter the street, or I decided to return over payment at the bank, or decided to wait for the red light even in clear road, or decided to pay my rates and taxes, or decided not to bypass PHCN, or decided to drop business proposals and CV without looking for connections or paying bribe? I thought they said change starts with one person? If you try it Nigeria, you'll be hated because they will call you holier than thou and accuse you of trying to expose them and make them look bad!  it's obvious that there is great bias in Nigeria between regionsThere is no federal character or balance. Remember EDUCATION LESS ADVANTAGED, remember having 246 in UTME and not getting Pharmacy in Ekiti but your mate in Yobe with 198 got in for pharmacy in BUK? Remember you've been applying to be on the bench with your sterling qualifications but they said no vacancy yet someone who's your far junior who sat thrice for the bar finals with no experience or further reading is now on the bench warming up for CA and SC? Remember you have been loitering the federal civil service looking for work but all you hear there is Hausa and Yoruba and small Igbo, Igalla, and Efik and them telling you an Etsako, Isoko or Jukun man that there is no space? But it also shows that when people are not spoon fed they become great thinkers, more industrious, more critical thinkers and general hustlers (but sadly it also increases crime). Those who are given 2 packets of indomie, or one cup of rice, or 2 cups of white beans with no money or nothing at all how do you expect them to function equally with another region who is being given 40k per household, father and mother, with bag of rice, millet and other things? These same people give birth without control or planning and end up pushing their responsibilities to government (I must confess this also happens in one particular state in the south). But this is the order of the day in Kano, Katsina, Kaduna the kkk states and Jigawa, Borno, Sokoto, Zamfara and even Bauchi. If the minister goes to her region and sees a man with 4 wives and 26 children, she will be moved to give them more like what has happened in Katsina. But if she goes to Lagos, or Enugu or Ondo and sees a hardworking self employed man and his one wife with phd who is managing job in a private owned college of education way below her capacity, with just 2 brilliant children they are managing to give the best in health, education and all, who are NOT wandering the streets or forcefully UNcleaning windscreens in traffic, the minister will pass them by that they don't need because they are just 4 humans and one even has salaried work even where the private owned salary work has told them no pay this period as there is no work! #ITireForNigeriaMatterMostTimes #GodSaveYourElect 330 Likes 25 Shares |
