I know we all wish that all crimes will end in the entire world. Those days at beauty pageants when ever they ask contestants what they wanted they would always say, world peace! How lofty and noble. Can you remember a time in this life where there were no wars, and troubles? Mostly man-made! You begin to wonder why This has led many to question their faith, their fate and God our Creator. Many have committed suicide, some have lost their sanity, empathy and had their mental health affected. So what do we do? What can you do as an individual What can I do as an individual What can we do collectively? Hash tags? Protests? Riots? Demonstrations? Sit out? Organise matches and walks? Wear black? Boycott activities and things? Do candle lights? See this girl was raped on her way to Islamiaya not ones but every time she was going and now this man is back on the streets walking freely. Even if he is innocent is that how he would walk knowing that the spotlight is already on him? I've travelled as far as Abuja with one en route Maiduguri, he freely shared his story with us and turned out to be my statesman. Also my friends who school, work and frequent those 3 states will tell you what's up. I stayed in the north and ran away not out of fear but anger, anger that I'll support reprisal and speak out openly (stubborn like that). The same way my eldest sister served in Yobe and ran away. I'm not saying GEJ is better, I'm saying there's no difference. The media just kept churning out negative news to disparage GEJ's effort and now most media hide the atrocities in that area to make GMB look like he's making impact. It is in GMB's time that war is spreading to the once peaceful North West in the name of banditry and in his time that Fula boys are trying to penetrate south, West and east through lorries, trucks and buses in the name of covid19, lock down and hardship or whatever is their reason for hiding like stowaways coming south. #ILoveNigeria #IAmAPatriot |

I'm truly happy with and for Nigeria But do you know Russia recently lost a helicopter and it's 4 crew members? Why am I saying this, We spend so much on a helicopter that can be brought down on its first outing but fail to see the end of a WAR that could have been dealt with with better ways since 2006, 2010 and all throughout GEJ'S tenure. Now GEJ wanted to negotiate with BH boys and they named Buhari as one person/emissary they'd respect and listen to. Fast forward to 2020 Buhari has been in charge for over 5 years without any visible difference between himself and GEJ, even while the later has had no military experience and had to rely on the technical and expert advice from the entire military and NAS. I kid you not this Tucano while cool will never solve our problem with BH. We know but we feign loyalty to Buhari as though he's the best thing after sliced bread and blueband. Our security is in a deep pit (its not well with our security, pun intended between pit and well) that we need strong able hands to pull it out firmly but gently. Curb the internal snitches within the military, prosecute sponsors, nip the lucrative side of the BH war that has turned several people to arms dealer, cooks, informants and village raiders, pay and cater for the soldiers and front line personnel, engage idle youths in that region and around the country so they don't become ready recruits, ensure Muslim clerics don't teach messages that incite these ideologies that everything outside Islam is haram and jihad is good and die once and win 7 virgins forever, among several other suggestions that are workable. #GodDoesNotMakeMistake #GodCreatedUsNigerians #WarIsUglyPeaceIsLovely 82 Likes 13 Shares |

Unless the country does not have NUC like Nigeria. If there are quack universities they ought to have been closed down. But do you know even in Nigeria there are quack universities? Some owned by big men or religious bodies, but not accredited in any course? If the university in Cotonou is standard and reputable then I commend the man for awarding scholarships. It's just a way of appreciating and reciprocating their honourary award. Why do you think some universities award such to popular people? It's to bring attention and investment to their citadels. I remember after Fashola was awarded in one federal institution, barely a week (call it coincidence or whatever) but the road right in front of the university was resurfaced and repaired. His visit probably brought his attention to the federal road which runs in front of the university and he helped as a Minister. Some of you may not know but in some private universities NDDC sent some beneficiaries there and paid their fees (exhorbitant). By so doing NDDC brought more students and paid, where private individuals might have found it hard to pay, NDDC paid and brought revenue to the school. Many more cases. But my important questions are these- 1) why is FFK personal matter on his twitter now our business or for public knowledge? 2) why do trolls always think they have a say in people's personal lives and decisions? It's like if I decide to dye my hair all white then someone will tell me no that I'm not yet 60 like how is that your concern? Trolls are not good critics or concerned citizens. Rip to the woman. It was in 2012 when I went to Lagos from Ibadan for a meeting. I'd just alighted at Ojota to cross over and enter BRT to TBS. Then the enforcement of using pedestrian bridges was at a high. But from where I crossed the distance was short, just across 2 lanes then cross the BRT lane and join the queue. When out of no where one long empty BRT bus just started speeding towards me. Within the twinkling of an eye I saw myself between the passing BRT and the railings of the BRT busstop where passenger queue in. That's how everyone was screaming around me while I was saying my prayers. After the long bus passed, I was there left with scars from the imprint of the railings. If not for God, I wore thick jeans trousers and carried my backpack, so my backpack help and so did the thick trousers. The BRT people rushed to me, apologised and took me straight inside the bus without joining the queue. I thought it was over only for later that day and the next time I took my bath for me to... In fact that's story for another day. It's my testimony. It's one among several. God is faithful. He alone is Lord and knows why He shows mercy on whom He'd show mercy on. I concur... School has started in Wuhan city also just in case they consider opening church, let them open school too. I was happy when I asked my neighbour's child 1 + 1 and she quickly answered 2!
