PoliticsRe: Okorocha To Buhari: Sack All Your Cabinet Members, Aides, They Have Failed by Businext: 8:50pm On Dec 02, 2020
Ever heard of Kaita?
Its a border town with Niger Republic; it's where the NNPC recently announced that International Oil Companies have chosen to donate 21 billion Naira to build a hospital. It is also coincidentally the community where staff housing for the proposed refinery will be situated. It is 3 km to the Nigeria Niger Border.

Ever heard of Agadem?
It is an oil field in Niger Republic from which the Nigerian authorities intend to source the crude oil for the proposed refinery.

Ever head of Mashi?
It is a community near Kaita, also close to the Niger Republic. It is the location for the refinery being built by the Buhari goverment of Katsina.

If you didn't know, for the past five years, by an executive order from Abuja, Kaduna, Warri and Port Harcourt I and II refineries have been shut down. Not because something got spoilt, or pipelines got broken. For no justifiable reason, all the refineries were made redundant. Yet, the timeline to complete the Mashi refinery is 2021.

Remember Ibe Kachikwu, the then Minister of State for Petroleum, wrote an open letter that the acting President Yemi Osinbojo and himself were being sidelined by the late Abba Kyari in collaboration with the late Maikanti Baru as they were taking memo's directly to Buhari in his sick bed in London for approvals after officially handing over the reins of government to the VP, when they feared that he was going to die. (didn't he die?) It was approvals for the AKK gas pipeline project. To convey gas from Escravos through Ajaokuta to Abuja Kaduna and Kano. Now, the interesting part is that the project has been reviewed to take a detour through Katsina to Niger Republic Border.

Ever heard of Idi Umoru? He is Fulani from Niger Republic. In 1984, he contested against Aja Nwachukwu an Igbo from Nigeria for the position of Secretary General of the Organization of African Unity. Guess what? against pleading from Julius Nyerere of Tanzania and Jomo Kenyatta, Buhari voted against his country Nigeria for the man from Niger Republic. Mind you, Buhari was the ruler of Nigeria then. Yet, he voted against the country he was ruling in favour of his kinsman.

Recently, there was an outrage at the announcement that a contract for the sum on $1.9 billion had been awarded for the construction of a Rail line from Kano, through Katsina, to the Nigerian/Niger Republic border.
Do I still need to connect the dots, or are you now able to read between the lines?

Make we take eye de look
.
2023 is far my people
Can you crawl and manage till then?
Look around you, many people are fast leaving Nigeria (at least around me), those of us doggedly holding on, it's God's grace simpliciter

#YouAreFirstANigerian

NOTE: As long as you were not born before 1914 you are first a Nigerian before any state because Nigeria came to be before we started State system. Your allegiance is to Nigeria. Fight to save your country and not selfishly your state or tribe only. Once palm oil touches one finger it stains another. You may be in your bliss, but bruv Nigeria is not in a condition that it ought to be (I'm being mindful of my words, so I don't pronounce any negativity to Nigeria, words have power for good and bad. I choose to use my words to build up for good)

PoliticsRe: Junaid Mohammed: PDP Already Committed Its Presidential Ticket To The North by Businext: 4:58am On Nov 24, 2020
Every region depends on each other.
The north may have the advantage of number and better unity but they also need other regions.
The hatred growing in Nigeria as a result of region, religion and rebellion is alarming.
Many think it's politics and healthy rivalry, it's not.
Recall that many Nigerians inter-marry and inter-trade and even inter-ract in terms of medical care, schooling and entertainment and sports.

If any region of Nigeria is made to be inferior or superior because of crowd mentality and gang up, posterity would judge all the proponents

Foreign AffairsRe: What Will Happen If Donald Trump Refuses To Leave Office by Businext: 9:34am On Nov 09, 2020
On March 4th 1801, the second president of the United States, John Adams, refused to hand over office to his main rival at the 1800 election, Thomas Jefferson.

The rule of midday January 20 had not been written yet but despite his stubbornness, the office simply left him!

After Thomas Jefferson was sworn in at an event which the incumbent refused to attend, Whitehouse staff started to remove the former president’s belongings from the White house (Adams was the first president to reside at the new official residence).

All security organs cut all official communication and all presidential staff stopped taking instructions from Adams – THE OFFICE MOVED.

From that time all incumbents at the White House prepare early to leave in case they see signs of losing to avoid humiliation by the independent organs of state (the military, the Secret Service, the CIA, FBI and White House staff all operate under a code - serving a man/woman who has carried the WILL of the people at an election).

As soon as Biden clinches the 270 votes and is officially declared by all returning officers in the states, the following is going to happen

1. The Secret Service divides its attention between the incumbent at the incoming President.

2. CIA begins to give them both security briefings (including top secret intelligence which is traditionally reserved for the commander in chief).

3. The counter intelligence teams of the CIA which also ‘spy’ on the CIA also begin to brief both of them.

4. Whitehouse staff prepare to re-do the WH in-line with the taste of the president-elect.

5. At Midday on January 20, Whitehouse staff remove all the former president's belongings from the house and bring in the belongings of the new president (they wait for no one’s instructions).

6. The deductions for Whitehouse rent on Trump’s salary stops in January while the deductions for Whitehouse rent begins on Joe Biden’s presidential salary in January.

7. Melania Trump stops being the boss of Whitehouse on January 20 at midday and Dr. Jill Biden becomes the boss of Whitehouse on January 20 at midday.

8. At midday on January 20, all the power organs of the US cut official communication with Trump; The Pentagon, The CIA, The FBI, The Attorney General. The Secret Service however maintains minimal communication
since it is going to guard the ex-president all his life.

8. The BEAST and AIRFORCE ONE salute Trump for the last time and move their attention to Biden. The BEAST begins to carry Biden’s blood samples as is the tradition.

All this without any executive orders or instructions from anyone! The system just kicks in.

Look to God not man, if man gives you so much money and you turn and worship him instead of the Creator it means you don't appreciate all God has been giving you- life, oxygen, children, and more and also it means you don't acknowledge that that help is from God.
Any fake appeal for funds will be between the fraudster and God.

By the way, the amount is so because we had to share it among others who also have pressing needs.

This is fantastic news.
More pathetic that she lost the baby, just sad
I once tried to pay the bills of some patients detained in a government hospital also but it was overwhelming, the amount was so much, adding every day.
I felt so deflated.
I know hospital is not charity and they have staff to pay, bills and all
But they suppose know say,

Op this one that you're restricting it to 1-10 years it's not fair now.
People like us who are over 10 years post-graduation also have a few things to share.
Me for one I've never worked for government since 19gidibi I graduated, I applied though.
I was told to my face to go and look for god-father.
Whereas all of my education were in government schools oh,
I mean creche to PG.
Yes in my time government owned creche/day-care/nursery or whatever nomenclature that suits you.
But I don't know if they still run such now. tongue

But I encourage everyone not go regret going to school and graduating,
I'll never have it another way.
God knows best and He is forever faithful.
It may not be easy but with Jesus I have hope, so can you oh

Do you think this can happen in Nigeria?
Even among rich people?
Chidera just wasted food that many people need and don't have.
They watched him, they were afraid to approach him cause he might hurt them
Hurt them as in? So if he was plucking the hair from the head of someone they won't have approached him?
They should have stopped him right from the onset
But they left him, as they have been leaving him before he became this tall and ....
Chidera can kill and commit suicide
Chidera has mental issues
Chidera is not in a good environment for his upbringing
He does not understand and appreciate his privileges
He is wasting life, resources and abusing family hood and son hood
He is entitled and feels his mother and father owe him
He feels entitled to rant and destroy because he was ignored by his mum while he was talking to her.

My Nigerian born and brought up people what do you have to say when you consider where you and I are coming from?
Some us came from homes where food couldn't waste because we ate it all, and when food remained we kept it till the next time we wanted to eat.
Some kept goats, pigs, dogs and other ways where we disposed of food. Many of us gave to those without food.
Breaking lantern globe or glass or clay pitcher for fetching water from the river was almost like a sacrilege. We dare not let it slip. It's better you fall let it land on your stomach than allow that glass break.

Oh what a life! We are rich now and we still live prudently, wisely, carefully and sanely.
We don't tear up money, we don't smoke with dollars, we don't smoke anything, we don't drink only to go and pee it out, we don't buy food and leave chunks of flesh on the bones in restaurants or parties just to show that we are not hungry, we don't buy unnecessary gadgets, aso ebi or jewellery, we stay in apartments we can afford, we don't spray in parties, we maintain our cars and phones so don't need to change them every 6 months

We are the prudent generation, the wise ones, the ones with values, the ones with shame and fear, with respect and honour for our elders, the ones with money and sense, the ones who are not entitled but strive to better our lives, we have godly contentment and don't break TV screens or car windscreens when we are angry or upset.

We read comments from people on Nairaland which may be annoying but we don't make it our lives purpose to find the culprit to avenge, we move on, we forgive, we overlook, we are bigger, better, and more mature. We know and believe that we shall reap what we sow. We rever God. We see those who troll, curse, derail, peddle tribal rivalry and political hatred and pray silently for them because we know they'll reap what they sow. The ones they insult end up raising funds for them, giving them lifts or employing them.

Chidera will not always have a mother whose kitchen he can trash.
He may not always be left to be destructive.
One day he will be taken away and his words will be 'mummy, don't let them take me, mummy please!'

But then it will be late and we will be watching with popcorn and sprite
FamilyRe: Son Destroys Food Items In The Kitchen After Mum Refused His Request (Video) by Businext: 8:14pm On Jul 08, 2020
I know someone who burnt his parents car in Nigeria because they did not give him.
They arrested him and the whole family turned against them that they should release him.
Up till now the son is still sulking that he was arrested and has refused to acknowledge his wrong.
This is 8 years ago and the son is 46 with a wife and 3 sons in Uk now.
What will you do if you are any of the parents or siblings?

Let's be sincere there are children like this in Nigeria.
It's shameful but we need to stop making it look like foreigners are aliens.
There are children who beat their parents especially boys and mothers.
They're are father's who rape daughters.
There are siblings who arrange killers for each other.
There are children who arrange their own kidnapping or armed robbers for their parents.
The list is long. The world is crazy all over and it's only Jesus Who is the answer.
People are talking about mental health as if it is a cure. It is just an awareness.
It still boils down to the medications that will still end up messing up the minds of the patients.
Even beating, calling soldier, disowning and all the other things people have said, can fail.
Jesus Christ is the answer, Jesus is the Son of God, Jesus is the only way.

Car TalkRe: Road Rage: Share Your Experience by Businext: 9:45pm On Jul 07, 2020
cry such road rage stories appear cool but in hind sight and foresight
They should give you reason to be ashamed
That out of adrenaline rush, ego, video games, proving a point, pride, daring
And so on
You decided to compete with a stranger possibly going a different way.
All that I've said above is a message first to me and then all lovers of formula one and road ragers

I hardly drive because of this very issue.
There's always someone to compete with and I most times win
But I feel sad that I almost cause accidents for the other competitors or put them in trouble
.

Last time I drove and it happened I could hear the screeching of the person's 4 tyres and I realised that had he not good brakes which I don't, he would have hit the car before him, all for what?

But am I promising to stop grin it's not funny, I'm serious. I need to get help by channeling my driving expertise to real road races where I can even make money and win laurels and not constitute danger on inter state highways and inter city lanes

BusinessLet's Discuss People Who Owe Us And Refuse To Pay by Businext(op): 8:52pm On Jul 02, 2020
Okay so I have personal principles and one of them is to avoid borrowing as much as possible.
I borrow to people who are in need because I once knew a guy in my office back in 2008 who died.
Before he died he had asked all of us to loan him some money and we all declined because he never always paid back.
The very day before he died, he asked and we declined and next day we heard he died.
Life went on in the office but I felt personally bad.
I didn't have much money but all I needed at that time was basically my transport fare I could have spared him if I had an assurance of getting it back.
I felt bad that maybe, just maybe he could have survived if he got that money.
May be he was ill, indebt or in trouble.

Now back to the discussion I've had 7 major instances where people owed me and blatantly refused to pay.
One told me out rightly to forget about the money after all I lost money in mmm and forgot about it! Oh boy see talk oh! I chased my money and got it back after almost 2 solid years.
In fact the only 3 instances I can vividly okay 4, that I can remember that I let my money go where based on-
1. It's my uncle
2. It was a child hood friend and it was the fault of a relation
3. The person died
4. The person had nothing for us to auction

But I wonder how people get comfortable taking people's money when it's not yahoo that's between strangers who don't even see face to face but between people who have known sometimes since childhood?
How can you use ill gotten money in business and hope to progress?
Don't people believe in repercussions or fear God?
How much is any amount of money?

See sportsmen and celebrities and even business moguls who have even made money genuinely and have become bankrupt not to talk of people who have made it through assassination of trust and relationship just to get money without intending to pay when they can?

What surprises me is that some don't feel remorse and will call your money chicken change. Some will eventually pay by throwing the money at you!

Let's discuss this cause I just solved one today that I was already considering going to court for.
What has been your experience in this matter
