Religion / Re: Can Tithe Be Given To Someone In Need?. by BUXOMEBONY(f): 6:06am On Dec 05, 2022
It's most acceptable to feed the needy than pay tithe to an abundant church where the impact won't be felt.

This is totally unacceptable and all shades of wrong.

The culprit should be dealt with accordingly.

What nonsense!

Thank God she is still alive.
Take her to any General hospital around you,ask of Heart to Heart. They will attend to her .

If she takes her drugs accordingly, you will see the rapid change in her and it will surprise you.

Do this immediately.

Family / Re: My Friend Needs Help, Six Children No Male Child? by BUXOMEBONY(f): 6:15pm On May 16, 2022
Your friend needs to work harder. All he needs now is money to take care of his girls.

His desperation for a boy will eventually land him into very serious trouble that he might not get out of it alive.

What a mentality in this age and time when future is female now.

He needs reorientation .

He will get to know how blessed he is later in life.
Crime / Re: Ekiti Police Arrest Mother & Son For Kidnapping A 15-Year-Old Girl by BUXOMEBONY(f): 5:22pm On Mar 22, 2022
Ogbenutan! This is another angle to all the bad news flying around.
These ones are really destiny destroyers.

How can any sensible person do this to a 15 year old for goodness sake?
Business / Re: A Loan Company Insists I Take Another Loan! (Photos) by BUXOMEBONY(f): 4:18pm On Mar 08, 2022
They won't pay back.Take the loan ,remove your money and send back the rest,if they call you let them know exactly what happened and why you had to take the loan and tell them if they go further to call or send messages ,you will go any lenght to tarnish them more, let them know you won't be paying a dime extra cos they were the ones that refused to refund
Moreso,go block your ATM card and get another one.

It once happened to me and that's exactly what I did .
Romance / Re: Am I Not Making A Mistake? by BUXOMEBONY(f): 9:21am On Mar 08, 2022
This is all shades of wrong. What if she does not have a daughter that will bring an inlaw ,how will she pay? Your mum knew all these and went on to get pregnant without the bride price being paid now passing her problems to you?

Someone in her own family shouydo that if she does not have a son,not one stranger from another family.

Is there no man in her own lineage?
His is totally wrong and in acceptable. You need to look more before you leP,there might still be more hidden charges....

Culture / Re: Olukere Of Ikere Ekiti Now Recognized As An Oba In Ekiti State by BUXOMEBONY(f): 7:35am On Oct 09, 2021
Olukere has existed before the Ogoga title.
Olukere has been the traditional priest of Ikere and traditionally,he is seen once in a year in public just to perform traditional rites during the festive period.

With this development,he will now been seen more in public ,preside over town matters aside traditions and possibly belong to the council of Obas ,be on the payroll of the state govt etc.

I am a proud Ikere lady .

Family / Re: Are Best Friends Worth It? Mine Abandoned Me In The Streets Of A Foreign Country by BUXOMEBONY(f): 6:50pm On May 19, 2020
slyfox35:
Do not allow him. You can hrlp from a,distance if You can. Best friends or closest friends as some people term it is quite normal in the life of 80% of world population, I had one too.

We grew up as teens together, matured as adults together, he came to our house always and ate all his meals with us. My mom was really nice to him when she was alive. He wore my clothes and never returned them. I did not ask because my parents always provided for me although they were average citizens.

Then the worst thing in my life happened. I lost both my parents within the space of four years.
Things turned downhill for me (orphans do suffer a lot.. Too much suffering for you to believe there is even God in heaven who takes care of the fatherless and motherless).

My friend travelled to an African country. He kept telling me to come over there to work that things are better there. I kept declining but after a year of constant pressure, I decided to man up, packed my bags and travelled to meet him.

Guess what? I did not stay up to 5 days with him!!!

His attitude changed by the second day, he yells at me at every given opportunity, from his best friend, I turned to his boy, the heat he was given me was so bad that when he leaves the house and he comes back, I get scared just by hearing his footsteps. I virtually turned to a nonentity to him. I had no money on me because the little I had left, he collected it when I arrived. I knew no one, I felt so miserable and alone and I started regretting why I left Nigeria.

On the fifth day ,I woke up early in the morning and shook him up. I don’t know what got into me (but I am glad it did), I told him I can’t stay with him anymore and I want to leave. He did not even feel bad about this, he did not think of the fact that I know nothing and nowhere in this country. He let me go.

I packed my bag amid tears and went into the street. Mind you, I had no one to call back in Nigeria... It was tough on me but as a naija guy and as God will have it, I did not spend even a night on the streets. I was shocked that a total stranger took me in, clothed and fed me. He taught me everything he knows. I worked for 6 months and was able to make 2 million Naira. This was like a dream to me (If you get money ehn, to praise God Dey sweet o)

I came back to Nigeria, rented an apartment, furnished it and continued working from here.

This so called best friend of mine saw my posts and pictures on Facebook and video called me to check on me (I guess his eyes did not believe what he was seeing) he asked me if I am in a hotel, I said no, I am in my apartment. He was shocked (me I nor keep any grudge against you) he told me he was coming to Nigeria and that I should please forgive him and forget everything that happened. I told him I can forgive but can’t forget.

What surprised me most are this exact words he said “my guy, if I come, na your house I go relax first abeg”

Now my fellow Nairalanders, I am asking, how should I go about this?

I have forgiven him but should I allow him into my home?
Family / Re: Time To Divorce My Wife? by BUXOMEBONY(f): 6:54pm On May 05, 2020
You realize that the error is all yours for not choosing well.

For that, you are half way there.

You mentioned that you married in the Church: brother you know that except adultery and I will say abuse, you can't divorce your wife.

You have tried counseling, reporting her to family etc. etc. and it has not worked.

Now, I want you to try changing your reaction to her attitude. You have been married long enough to 'predict' her actions/inactions.

She forgot your birthday, fine. Celebrate yourself. Go out with the kids, go out with your friends etc.

She tries to keep malice, apologize and move on.

I know it is hard, it is abnormal even however you need to build a shield in your heart so that her attitude doesn't get to you anymore.

Don't beg or cajole her to 'change' or 'be better' or whatever: you are telling her that she has power over you.

Thank God finances are not a thing: treat your self, go on vacations, do the certifications or courses you wanted to. Channel your emotions into the things you have always wanted to do, pick up new hobbies, go to gym and workout youf frustrations etc.

And prayers work: if not for her to change, for you to be whole mentally and emotionally.

It is well.

In as much as I agree with the person who wrote the above, you should add that he needs to get himself a,good babe outside that will give him the peace and love her desires,he is just 42 yes,he needs to expend his energy positivity, your pastor won't tell you this but you need to tell yourself.

What nonsense, did that actually happen? I will never assist even a well mannered person carry any of her battalions how much less a mannerless one like the one you described .I wonder what entitlement mentality got her to think anyone is duty bound to help her with the kids. If you cannot pay for seats to keep you comfortable with the kids why not drop them at home,if everyone in the bus comes with 2/3 kids each, how will it even be possible to move such a bus.
