Brownpeanut: Well, not all girls. You have to understand that we have our attention divided and we can't please everyone, most especially if the lady is not feeling you. There's always a special somebody, or special set of people. But the truth be told, the way some ladies chat will bore most guys. Some guys too don't know how to chat. Ask open ended questions that will require her to express herself. Not yes and no questions. Some guys will also bore you to death. But if you're the kind of guy that knows the art of communication and know how to pull the strings, you're going to intrigue most intelligent ladies. And always know when to end the conversation; don't drag a dying conversation for too long. I'll love to have that conversation with you |

osasmatthew04: Omo I don confuse, lol .. Don't really know which one to get any longer but it seems like the problem with the iPhone 7 is the battery life, outdated design. My fear in the android is that, can I use it without it freezing or hanging especially when I'm online? If you get an Android phone with good processor and 4gb ram above, you will have a seamless experience. Phones these days handle graphic intensive games, so using it for browsing, Instagram, whatsapp will be a walk in the park. I recommend the Redmi note 9, or any Samsung at that price. |

osasmatthew04: Hi, good evening family. Please bear with me if the post is too long.
So, I have a budget of 70-80k with me presently and I wish to get a phone I can be using. Was told to bring 80k for a fairly used iPhone 7 128gb, so I would like to seek opinions from bosses here if you don't mind. Should I get the iPhone 7 or should I get a new android phone and what type do you recommend I get? FYI, I need a phone with good processor, a phone that won't hang or slack when making use of it cos I open a lot of applications. Please I need your opinions urgently, thanks in advance Would have said you should go for the iPhone if you were getting something from iPhone X upwards. If you want to get the iPhone 7, make sure you have a powerbank or a smaller phone. But I will suggest you get an Android phone instead of a used iPhone 7. Get the Redmi note 9. It's about 82k for the 4gb 128gb. It can handle almost everything thrown at it. |

Lorbar: How do I achieve that please? Reducing the animations in developer's option won't really help, as this only changes the way windows pop up and how apps transition. If you change the windows pop up speed, your keyboard will pop up faster without lesser animations when you click a textbox, but it won't increase your typing speed. Typing depends on the actual user and keyboard. The Redmi note 9s is 6.67 inches and I don't know which Samsung you used previously, but I'm assuming it's smaller, so your fingers needs to adjust to this new screen size; the phone is huge. Since you have gotten Swift keyboard, just get used to it. You'd be fine. |
Science/Technology › Re: Peregrine Falcon From Finland Killed In Delta State (Photos) by Buzx: 10:38pm On Nov 27, 2020 |
WoundedLamb: Yeah, they actually follow the weather/vegetation and since the climate is fairly constant, regions around the world have the same weather/vegetation at the same period each year thus prompting the birds to also have a unique migration pattern each year.
You're right, predatory birds are such amazing creatures! Their hunting skills are astonishing and their senses have advanced to either compliment one another or the environment. Those with poor sight have extraordinary hearing abilities, those that fly at night can slide through the air with no sound at all, etc. Glad you thoughtfully let go the one you caught when you realised you couldn't take care if it. Being a falconer is a whole lot and requires specialized skills. I've kept almost all sorts of pets but never a predatory bird. Splendid! Thanks for sharing your insights and knowledge, brother. Gracias! |

PS712: See all the places the bird passed only to be catapulted in Nigeria.... Something is very wrong with us as a people! Nigeria is obviously not a good place for animals; and even humans. Last week, I was woken up at 6 am by a loud noise; a dog was shouting seriously and crying. I thought it was even a child. When I looked through my window, I say a dog with two of its back legs broken and shouting in pains. A bike had just knocked it down. I felt bad. The dog was crawling and crying for help. A trailer was coming and the trailer guy stopped used a bamboo to push the dog of the way and zoomed off. The dog later died. |
Science/Technology › Re: Peregrine Falcon From Finland Killed In Delta State (Photos) by Buzx: 6:13pm On Nov 27, 2020 |
WoundedLamb: Yup, I agree with you on that. But then again, most migratory birds have a particular destination (or set of destinations) they go once a year for a different climate. They do it annually that it becomes direct trip over time. For example, the geese where I stay go south of the US every year. However, even though this falcon is a migratory bird (which naturally covers 15,500 miles per year), it obviously dosen't make an annual round trip to Nigeria seeing that it was held in captivity at a museum. So this one seems to have had a terrible heartbreak and decided to go on a death trip.
See us turning into animal investigators That's quite interesting to know @the bolded. Never knew they had a particular destination. Sad it had to die this way. Some years back, I caught a falcon just like this; I found it unable to fly and took it. It's a very predatory bird and hurts like a wolf. I was amazed at the way it kills rats. I had to let it go because I couldn't take of it. Lol, @animal investigators. anyways, cheers. |
Science/Technology › Re: Peregrine Falcon From Finland Killed In Delta State (Photos) by Buzx: 4:18pm On Nov 27, 2020 |
WoundedLamb: Well, maybe/maybe not. Such a flight could be in a straight line and therefore would assume the shortest distant between two points just like air planes. An air plane which goes on the average horizontal speed of 575mph takes about 7 hr (or 10 assuming there's a 3 hour stop over) so this falcon which could fly almost half as fast would take about 14 hours (without rest) and even with a 6 hours rest, it could still make it in less than a day. But that's assuming it went straight from Finland to Nigeria without touring around first or without flirting for too long at a stopover. Lol. Lol, maybe/may not. No one knows for sure. But I'm sure the bird didn't wake one morning and say, "This year, I'm going to take a direct trip to Nigeria." It must have stopped at different countries, checked out some tourist location; go for sightseeing before continuing its journey which might take days. It will be interesting to know the actual duration of its trip. |

Jashub: Her response is rude, yes. But you should also know that under the circumstances, different people would behave differently. Which is why (from my own opinion) the company should have briefed her on the method they would use to contact her. Whether the company briefs her on the method or not, the fact is that she's rude and her reply will still be the same. She applied the previous month, and It would not cross her mind that it's someone from the company, so it's the same outcome either way. |

khingTony: The Redmi 9 will have only one Android update, that's if it will have any, you can as well tell us how many the Redmi 8 got.
In the next 2 years, 3 or 4 more Redmi phones will be added to the series, so, how do you expect the Redmi to still be valuable then?
Peace The redmi 9 came with Android 10. It's going to get Android 11, and probably Android 12; two updates; two years support. It's still going to get Miui updates and security patch which will make it more valuable. And the iPhone, no more updates from next year. Oh, and apple slows down their old devices, right? Or they've stopped? |

khingTony: Hey SunShine, that guy is just hyping iPhones, you should have sensed that, I already gave him an advice in the first comment, but what I want you to know is that, you can never go wrong with an iPhone and, in the next two years, the iPhone 6 will be more valuable than the Redmi 9 Sometimes I wonder if some peeps just talk without even processing! No offense. The iPhone 6 will lose apple's support next year. It's not going to get ISO 15. In the next two years, 2 more iPhones will be out. The price of iPhone 6 will drop and might even become free (Obviously a joke). The Redmi 9 has up to 2 Android updates and 3 Miui update which will still make it relevant in 2022. |

Buy your redmi 9 and have peace of mind. I'm sure you ain't getting a new iPhone 6s plus. That iPhone 6s plus you want to buy has probably been used by up to two people. The battery life will be very poor now. And the phone is already old and outdated. Forgot the name, it's like buying Samsung Galaxy s6 in 2020. |
