If the Igbos will not vote for a Yoruba indigene of a south east state if he contest for governor, then they should not condemn the Yorubas for not voting for an Igbo indigene of a south west state when he contested for governor.

Tribalism is not exclusive to any tribe or region in Nigeria, so I don't want to see any Igbo man throwing a tantrum because of tribalism in the south west because there is also tribalism in the south east, the south south and every part of Nigeria.

The more I come across your comments, the more I realise how dumb you are, the reigning line for you guys now is stolen mandate, trying to give yourselves false hope.
After the Supreme Court verdict, the next line will be "Our judiciary has been raped"
Shioor, bunch of pained and sore losers. If you continue like this, you will end up reducing your life span because it's obvious u are heartbroken and u will remain heartbroken for the next four years

Dude we already know the judiciary is dead in Nigeria thats old news .. Supreme court they already have their judgement ready even before Obi filed so thats no brainier on that.. no one.is.loosing sleep.om that.

That said no one should come here and be forming truce or calling calling for calm.after stabbing and ripping open an old wound, covering it with a nylon becomes folly.. Actually liked that this happened the tribal card played by desperate yoruba politicians the divide and conquer rule oldest trick.in the book worked so now these ignorant youth who have become oblivious to history are reminded of the age.old Nigerian reality and sad truth ..snakes will always be snakes

Obi;s and Kwankwaso's desperate ambition destroyed the opposition front, and reversed the gains of 2019, and made Tinubu win.

Plus, everyone has the right to run for president, and that unfortunately includes the bat. If he was desperate, what do you call someone like Kwakwaso and Obi?

If those two had stayed in PDP, you would be rejoicing. Thanks to their desperation....we lost another 4 years to the failed APC.

Next time, never split the party.[/quote

I never doubted APC victory in Lagos.

Sawoolu should make sure he closes ladipo market for six months,Ibos need to be taught a lesson. They even killed a Yoruba youth in ojota today and almost lynched another bfore police came to his rescue.

They can't try quarter of their over bearing attitude in rivers or delta which are their close neighbors, compare to wat they doing in Lagos,a Yoruba state since 1666.

Mk sawoolu pity dem sha,cos if they're sent packing, many of them will comit suicide cos their lands are unhabitable, ipob terrotists reign supreme there.

Nigeria had it bad but never this bad.. APC you have done well.. This country will never recover from this.. its only going to get worse..

Why are you not mentioning all the tribes running for positions in the state elections in the Southeast. Only one sef will do it. Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi, Abia, Enugu? Please tell us the commissioners there from other tribes even

Is it only Lagos they are doing assembly and gubernatorial elections?

Exactly why is are Ogun state indegenes the Gov of lagos , deputy and speaker why .. is that lagos has no indegenes or is Lagos bereft of Sons and daughters . Now the real lagosians have come out and the impostors are for ethnic loyalty .. see foolishness.. senslessness

I looked through his Twitter posts today and the guy is an overgrown baby, who’s being pushed by his Igbo mum and Igbos around him. A 39-yr old man who acts and talks like a teenager.

Where’s his dad? It would be disgraceful to Yorubas, dead and alive, if that guy wins even a polling unit in Lagos.

I feel sorry for him because he might make people tell him his history because Saros aren’t even indigenous to Lagos. And they were expelled from Lagos and Abeokuta in the past - until they pleaded and were allowed to stay. Interestingly, in 2023, this guy is claiming Saros are the only bonafide Lagosians - rather than just contest and not open the Pandora’s box that will consume him.

U talking thrash were are u from .. lagos is full of immigrants dunce.. it was a trading post everyone migrated everywhere some.just did.it earlier than others and claimed.the.right to call themselves.indegenes .. receive sense..

Storm In A Tea Cup

A Junior secondary school student was allegedly sent home in Epe, Lagos, because her bag had a Peter Obi sticker.

While parents should take care in ensuring that their children don’t bring political party materials into school, the school in question should have been more forgiving, and speak to the student, knowing that this may have been an innocent mistake by the student.

Below is a message from the girl’s parent:

“This is to inform you all, that my Daughter Marvelous Barinaadaa, was Exit from Odomola Secondary school today 14th March,2023.by the school Principal, just because my daughter use Peter Obi poster paper to Rap her note Book for school, and this girl is just Ten years old, she didn't know anything about Politics, but she was sent away from school without informing the parent, because they say we support Peter Obi and Labour. Please, Is this Act by the school Principal good, See what the school Principal wrote on that Letter. And after we will say we are one Nigerian”.

People, especially those in authority, really need to be held accountable for their certain actions or inactions, guided or misguided policies that affect others badly no matter how highly they are connected. Millions have suffered so much over this preventable Naira crisis. Perhaps, some even lost their lives because of this mess.

Agreed The policy is wrong .. yes Cbn is not getting it right .. but they have done nothing wrong.. Supreme court ruling in not binding on CBN..its that simple .. Supreme court cannot give an order or a judgement amending a CBN guideline when CBN is not a party before it.. you cant give a judgement by proxy.. leave sentiment aside ..our almighty Supreme court needs to be careful here . Its letting politicians riddle its hallowed grounds .we are treading on very bad jurisprudence and precedence . Opening a can of worms that will take ions to close.. supreme court is not God and its not all powerful.. it is first of all a Court of Law and like all Courts it is still bound by principles of jurisprudence and basic principles of jurisdiction .. it has limitations .. on this matter its acting outside its jurisdiction by amending a guideline of CBN through a judgement given against Federal govt.. it cannot stand.. law is a ass but thats law .. leave sentiment and emotions aside..

i think this is the main issue, people are scared. i think what should happen is for state governors to use executive powers and mandate any bank that wants to continue doing business in their respective states to start collecting and paying the old notes, unless banks start collecting it , the ordinary people on the streets won't collect it

They dont have that power.. cbn is all.powerful.here.. this is the reason why some people have called for true federalism in Nigeria .. centre is too powerful.. INEC also is too powerful

It needs to be reformed

They charge same rate 5 percent of total revenue

Frsc charge fedral govt 20 percent

So u are ignorant .. understandably .. so lets clear that ignorance .. FRSC cannot be compared to Alphabeta .. one is a govt instiution the other is a vendor . FRSC , Nigeria Customs , fedreral high court and federal universities and all federeal.parastetals and institutions are entitled to a percentage of what they generate in the course of their operations to cover the operating cost and budget ..so yes firs, customs courts , fed schools,CAC immigrations and others , all are entitled to a percentage of what they generate. they are not vendors but revenue generating institutions of govt .. in the other tech solutions providers like interswitch , etranzact, Nibbs, remita and many other solution and platform providers are not in thesame category as the institutions but only deploy tech to enable ease of collection and management .. they usually get a tiny percentage of collections and usually its not exclusive sometimes 0.05 or even less with value Caps due to the billions that are collected .. alphabeta like most others is not a govt institution but a vendor.. is alphabeta a fraud conduit? Use your tongue and count your teeth.. you have been educated

The tin tire me oo.. so just providing online platform which lagos state can build.and manage on its own is the basis for collecting 10 to 15% of the entire revenue a state generates . See cruise.. see format .. how much does interswitch or other tech solution companies collect for IGR services for states or FIRS . Often times less than 0.05 and same will have a Cap not even upto to 0.5 of revenue collected via the platform.. see mumu format .. na so we dumb abi..
