Business › Re: Are Goods In Ghana Cheaper Than Nigeria by byvan03: 3:19pm On Aug 28, 2016 |
kid7soccer: it was nice and profitable. But have not been there since the foreign exchange crisis, but my friend over said things has gone up a bit but i think it till profitable cause labour is far cheaper in ghana than nigeria. Am trying to fine time to go there but, am considering how to exploit the nigeria market by looking out for are local product. Till ghana is a steping stone for business, from there you can go to dubai and then china. But if you want to go for holiday in ghana, ABC transport will help you get there by road, i go by road it so much fun, you will meet people of different classes, you get to experience of africa, the sea shore, the grass lands and the people you meet and countries you will pass through. For flight wakanow or flybat will help you get cheaper flight and hotels. Thanks for the update. Travelling for fun is the last thing on my mind for now, for business is cool for me. What type of goods are you sourcing for locally? |

LorDBolton: @op mr gabazin080 I believe your wife is unhappy @leaving lag. Also she doesn't want to 'waste her time'
It seems you want a housewife but a working class housewife, baba it can't work.
Unless you're willing to allow her open a business in a better more populated area then leave her @ home to do chores and watch tv.
Even in my area a woman opened a provision store and aside the 4/5 houses here she makes no sales...is that a business?
Location is important to a biz, look for a store close to your house with better commercial value and i'm sure she'd be more open to it...
Attachment : curious question...the relocation to ogun state was it a mutual decision? Was she aware this was part of the plan when marrying you?
Cos mehn many of us in lag can't imagine living in other states, I know people who own houses(s) in ikorodu but are living as tenants @ surulere. Some pple squat on the island when they could live comfortably @ their homes on the mainland.
Your wife might even be unhappy in this marriage, I suggest u find time to have a heart-2-heart with her...cos be like u be General 4 house lol Very matured advice, good one. |

OP's wife is not your mum, not every one is ready for excessive stress. The amount of stress you described above can be health damning for someone who is forced into it. Everyone cannot operate on the same efficiency level. |

gabazin080: just a year old boy. any advice? I doubt a year old is in school yet, cut that woman some slack. Child care + chores are not easy to handle. There is a reason why nannies are well paid in saner climates. The provision store you want her to run, how much do you think it will yield as profit on daily basis considering that the area is a bush like she told? Rent the shop for a year if you need money that badly or send your child to daycare and free her schedule. Have you spent a whole day alone with a one year old before? If you had, you won't be making a mountain out of a mole hill. Try doing house chores and babysitting, let's see if you won't be more lazy. Give her till the kid starts schooling, not everyone is ready to stress to death in the name of supporting spouse. Do your duties as much as you can for now and let the rest be. She will eventually get her groove back, if only you will stop stressing the matter. |

gabazin080: i built a shop in front of the house to reduce stress while taking care of my baby. advice me on the kinda business she can run online Is the baby of school age? If the child isn't of school age you might need to cut her some slack . Try caring for that child just for a day, maybe you might approach things differently afterwards. Move this issue to family section. Go to Nairaland fashion, business and investment sections and check what others are doing. How old is your child? |

Do your best and meet your responsibilities to the best of your abilities. Otherwise, resign and try doing the chores let's see if she won't be out there trying to fend for the family. House chores are not easy to do, if kids are involved then you should have to tone it down. She is playing her traditional roles, you are the one not taking yours in stride.
You have to breach this topic with consideration and not make it appear like she is the lazy one. Being a house wife is no easy job for those without house helps. If the environment is really dead like she said then you will have to introduce her to a business she can run online. |

Amelian: Am not scared touching his phone.. Its not about fear but respecting each other's privacy. For me , i dont beleive in it.. I love my privacy alot... Likewise him too. For us ,theres no difference in our relationship and in marriage. And we are not living in fool's paradise. We are both aware of what we require from each other.. What works for us.. Might not work for u.. Its our choice to be faithful to each other , even in courtship..its a mutual agreement, which works perfectly well for us.. And we are happy. Am not questioning your decision or choice in life . All am saying is that OP is not wrong going through her husband's phone. Believe it or not, when people yap on how much they love privacy, it's always because they are hiding something, that something mustn't be infidelity. There is a vast difference between dating and marriage, it is not the same to me. You mentioned that it's the same to you, it's Ok . |

@Amelian
This rule can't work for everyone. Some prefer not to live in fool's paradise. About the ranting, some people actually do have solutions that work for them. Everyone can't believe in privacy inside marriage, I don't believe it. There is actually a vast difference between boyfriend and husband, dating is not marriage. OP did nothing wrong by knowing who she is dealing with and has every right to go through her husband's phone. If you believed in the loyalty he swore, why then will you be scared of touching his phone?
Tell me you can't go through a boyfriend 's phone and it's very understandable. |

Amelian: Some people can disturb themselves and their minds.. Why go thru his phone in the first place? I will never go thru my bf's phone and he doesnt go thru mine too.. What the eyes do not see, the heart do not ache over.. Why snoop around for.trouble??
One thing ,my bf knows is this when my female friends and neigbours compliment his looks and bike, he starts smiling sheepishly at home.. The kind stern look, i give to him when we get home.and also just one word: honey, u know i trust you, pls dont dissapoint me He will smile and then make a straight face and say, nah dont worry.... I wont ok? I will say ok, no problem with a straight face too.. End of matter And i wont bug him again.... Thats all...even after marriage, i wont check... Why check phone There is a difference between bf and husband. A bf owes you nothing, a husband swore to fidelity and should be held accountable for any breach in contract. |
