njokusboy: A rational thinking man would speak out if he sees anything that "looks like cheating ", that is the sensible thing do... He won't be walking around with a scrunched face and hoping what looks like cheating would disappear.... A real man takes charge of situations... She will certainly speak, probably needs time to articulate how to present her grievances without passing off as overly presumptuous. |

5minsmadness: Is she a scorpio, i.e born october 23 to November21?
If yes, well then, you're up sh!t creek. She wont change, you'll have to manage her like this for life.
Some women are overly jealous as in they are stalkers by birth. They give you no breathing space and the slightest thing that even looks like another female coming near you and they go up in arms, become irritable and brooding, start questioning you and imagining guilty admittance in every answer you give.
Some will say you shouldnt have married her in the first place but i wont say so. If you dont marry her who will? I'm sure this behaviour was there while you were courting but not as bad, she would have tried her best to hide it at least until you belong to her officially.
You have to be patient with her. Patience is your only tool. Allay her fears. Show her that the person or phone call or whatsapp message she is suspecting is purely innocent. Reinforce your innocence every chance you get. She wont lose her sting but she will definitely become easier to manage in that her suspicions will reduce.
Marriage is about sacrifices, its about give and take, no one has the perfect partner, there is always one issue or the other, others are going through worse. So take heart.
The ladies here that see nothing wrong in your wife's actions but are being quick to turn the tables on you, all i have to say is... You ladies are just awesome. If it was a woman that came to comolain that her husband is always angry and hot tempered and doesn't explain what the problem is and hides his emotions, you woukd have filled the page with how childish and immature that behaviour is. You would have told her she married a boy and not a man. What you get from being so antagonistic i'll never know.
Note, i have not insulted anyone here or used derogatory words. If you respond to me with anything unladylike or passive insultive, i assure you, you will be treated with a similar dish, time-willing. Be ladylike and u will find yourself being treated like one. Thanks. If a lady mentioned that her husband saw something that looks like cheating, I probably would have written an epistle. Yes, I would blame her because your spouse shouldn't be seeing that so called "anything that looks like cheating" in the first place. |

shegxi: i am not about whether op is guilty or not, he should deal with that. even if op was guilty, i still insist there is no excuse for her not to speak up. she can let her rage calm down before speaking. but if for everytime anyone wants to speak he/she goes bonker, i think that is even a bigger problem. OK, direct your insistence to OP. |
Family › Re: How Do You Handle An Angry Wife by byvan03: 11:41am On Sep 01, 2016 |
shegxi: so you are in essence saying that as an adult, i can be angry about something or someone and be quiet about it and i will be justified? and do u also know some people are just overly sensitive and extremely paranoid, are u saying it's the people around them that need to adjust and not the person with the issue himself or herself? i get the point of not giving the other person reason to doubt, but the onus still lies with the aggrieved to speak up. Sometimes not saying anything is some people 's way of controlling themselves. There are people that can't address an annoying situation without completely going bonkers. If you know you are shady and it drives your spouse mad,the sensible thing to do is stop. Why isn't OP responding and you are on his behalf? Probably because he is guilty as charged. Sometimes is better to shut up when the rage boiling inside might make one lose her mind. She shouldn't be seeing" anything she thinks is cheating ", OP is a husband and not a boyfriend. |

"If she sees something she feels is cheating ", meaning you know exactly what you do to her that upsets her so much. You are married for goodness sake, she shouldn't be seeing anything that should suggest you are cheating. Nothing breeds passionate hatred like a perceived loose husband, whether her fear is real or imagined. You are the one that needs help on how to be married so you don't upset your spouse to insanity. |

veave: I ga adi.
Imagine. I do not support your husband talking down at you infront of his mum. But you sound disrespectful and troublesome. Work on yourself first. Every other thing would sorrt itself out.
But wait oh.... How come the mama did not remeember to come to lagos until her son got married? Both of you are actually two troublesome and jobless people. Let the both of you start business. She sells food stuff while you sell something else. That way you both will be too busy to chck who look me bad eye and who no greet me I tell you, really they need to get busy. They spend too much time checking each other out. She won't bring up the issue of a live in after the light incident if she isn't deliberately troublesome. Her husband obviously noticed the role she is playing in the whole awkward situation. She is letting mama know that she isn't happy to have her around and mama is also determined to prove a point. Nothing good will come out of knocking horns. |

kid7soccer: Am deeply in search of nigerian quality material wear like Adire etc, i bought one for myself in 2014 from a friend it was beautiful and i still wear it till now. I think it be good for business cause people have been asking me to bring it. If i no were to buy it in bulk am sure to make profit from it p I tried sourcing for materials but the quality of materials I saw were nothing to write home about. I took a sample of Dutch wax I bought years ago but saw nothing like it's quality. If you finally make a headway, don't forget to update. |
