it's not as powerful as the PS2 but for it's powerful enough for a handheld. i'll say it's in between a PS1 and a PS2. at the moment, there aren't enough quality titles on it - it's just a cool looking piece of hardware. Nintendo's DS in front in terms of sales. seems Nintendo have the hand-held market on lock down.

if you're interested in web programming, infact software development as a whole, i advise you to learn one of the OO languages like Java or C-Sharp. For web-development, go for a scripting language like PHP.

learning BASIC might seem easy and it'll give you a good start but u'll also pick up bad programming habits. personally i hate BASIC and OO.
i've used Java in the past but not extensively and I know i'll definitely have to use C-sharp in the future. I'm a C/C++ programmer at the moment. C rocks!

i've already searched. there's no 3ds bucky ball on the net. but no problems i've found someone to do it for me. he's a real 3d modeller and it's a piece of cake to him.

ps: i'd rather come up with an algorithm to render the bucky ball in opengl than pay some dude for it.

3D is no bean cake. Its not webdesignin where i can just send u some codes or do 1 or 2 flash pages (templates) for u.
The smallest character modeling in 3D takes lot of time especially the rendering process.
I expect c0dec to Pm if he was really serious.

well, another way to boot your linux would be to use windows' OS loader. i've never used it before but i think all u have to do is edit the boot.ini file.

disclaimer: i really haven't been using linux much since i switched to mandrake from slackware and also recently because of work, so most of my knowledge is old skool. things might have changed now.

this is how i do it when i'm lazy and only if i still have my distro's install CD: i just insert my CDs and pretend i'm reinstalling. i'll skip partitioning and formatting and when it gets to where i've to selected packages for installation, i select none. the whole setup then proceeds to the bootloader setup and i simply re-install LILO there and then. easy.

on the other hand if u don't have your install CDs but you have a boot CD, then boot up. to gain permission...can't remember but i think you do a "sudo su" command, you'll automatically log on as root. you can then access/mount other partitions on your harddrive. then u can edit your "/etc/lilo.conf" manually to set up your win partition. but the main thing here is loading lilo into the MBR

the easiest method - depends on if you use a FAT filesystem on your winxp partition. if yes, then you can use "loadlin.exe" to boot your linux distro from windows - then follow Niggy's instruction to install lilo to the MBR.

google "sudo su" and "loadlin.exe" for more info.
