Christianity EtcRe: The Mormon Religion by c0dec(m): 11:56pm On Sep 25, 2005
i've got the book lying on the floor behind me. i just happened to be in a friend's house when they (2 of them) knocked on his door and hey they gave me a copy.

they seem like nice, harmless guys. they kept on emphasizing how the book of mormon is supplement to the gospel though. it seemed interesting but i just couldn't make much sense of it (as per it's relation to the gospel). it's more of an old testament book than anything.

RomanceRe: Interracial Dating & Marriage ("Jungle Fever") by c0dec(m): 12:42pm On Sep 17, 2005
i'll date any white woman if she's got a black woman's ass.

What do you think about interracial relationships? Do you believe its a disease? Do you support it or frown at it?

I don't believe its a disease, however I do not support interracial relationships.
racist!

I was born in the United States, in Maryland and i have lived in the US all my life. The reason i feel touchy or whatever about is coz Nigerians are too desperate and would do whatever to get them out of the situations.
if you were a 100% nigerian, you would be desperate. who no like better thing?
SportsRe: Has Ghana Qualified For the World Cup Yet? by c0dec(m): 4:51pm On Sep 16, 2005
mathematically, ghana has not qualified. realistically, they have.
same situation with nigeria and angola. mathematically angola haven't, realistically they have.

"makgod":
who cares about Ghana anyway... they can go to hell
well, if nigeria does qualify, i'll become a ghanaian till the world cup is over.
SportsRe: Better Player: Christian Obodo or Wilson Oruma? by c0dec(m): 2:54pm On Sep 16, 2005
leagues differ as much as clubs differ.

obodo is playing the best league in europe which is more competitive than the french ligue 1.

they are different types of players (to me anyway). oruma is more of an offensive midfielder (like say deco) while obodo plays the central role (like say xavi).

Nairaland GeneralRe: Are Some Nairaland Rules Too Strict? by c0dec(m): 6:45pm On Sep 05, 2005
my problem is that there are just too many rules. and these rules are always up in my face.

everytime i compose a message, i subconciously think i might be breaking a rule.

you just have to be more subtle in declaring rules.

"joftech":
@Codec, can you afford these original softwares if they ask you to be buying them.

Kindly check my blog joftech..com and see what i wrote on linux and Windows.
of course i can't afford them and it doesn't really bother me cos i only use free software. the only proprietary software i have is the winXP that came bundled with my laptop.

yes, majority of nigerians can't afford them but that shouldn't be our problem as there are now plenty other options. let it be microsoft's problem.
Nairaland GeneralRe: To Develop Information Technology in Nigeria by c0dec(m): 2:14pm On Sep 01, 2005
oh my. kazey has never been to otigba, ikeja.  undecided

piracy here is one of the reasons, open source technology can't grow in nigeria.

why download a linux distro when u can get windows xp for 100 bucks at otigba? thats barely $1.00

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Club Football Transfers This Season by c0dec(m): 4:54pm On Aug 30, 2005
with the transfer window closing tomorrow, we might see a lot of crazy signings.

i'm patiently waiting for moggi to do something on the cassano case. if not i'll wait till january when i expect the great del piero to leave out of frustration with the way things are going.

first of the big signings. i michael owen today off to newcastle.

karagounis also, has left inter for benfica. i believe he needed more playing time. he along with emre are players i fancy and hoped moggi would sign but whatever...
SportsRe: Goals Galore (download soccer movies) by c0dec(m): 4:34pm On Aug 30, 2005

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Serie A is coming: A review of the Big 3 by c0dec(m): 6:00pm On Aug 29, 2005
yeah man, inter look scary. i missed the first half. adriano, a true finisher. pizarro was amazing when he came on, taking the whole treviso defence. but as u said, treviso really looked weak and i'm sure they'll be going back to serie b.

as i've said earlier, this scudetto is between juve and inter. and maybe inter might just do it this time. they have the right players.

didn't see the juve game but i just download the highlights from the link Chxta gave. off to watch it.

my favorites?
sampdoria of course. but it won't be easy with the strength of the french teams.

i predict the cup will go to italy or france this time around.
