The main aim of NYSC has been basterdize..my own is instead of that 12month clueless month....
Youths should be posted to various entreprenuer centers in the state to engage in a particular skill which they choose, that will be there PPA for 5months of learning that skill at various Nysc approved centers.
Then the remaining 5months the money or Allawee should be given to them in full to go and start up something from what they have learnt....it will help to reduce over dependence on white collar jobs. Instead of waisting the whole 1year..also the camp should be where they can be trainned for greater opportunities not all those fake drilling.....

Teaching is an amazing job. It's also sustainable. Just try and become so good at it that when any school calls you for an offer of 150k, plus accomodation, you will tell them what you want as your starting salary is 250k, 300k or more, with accomodation, plus other benefits.

I worked in a private school after graduation in 2018 to 2019...started paying me 15k i teach jss1_3 and SS1_3 ...it was not funny because you will give all your effort but they will never appreciate despite your Degree result...i ended up collecting 18k but it was never paying my bills at all...you have to be in school from 7:30am to 3:30pm, if you come late your salary will be deducted, lesson note,lesson plan, form master,marking,test,exams etc.....they even pay late if students dont pay school fees
seriously is not funny because no job to get...Now in this pandemic nothing for you as the school has not resume....i will be the happiest person on earth to leave private skul teaching job..
