I use normal notepad then take it over to PC for editing.

Aim to write on what you have a sound knowledge on. Also before writing, dish out the topics, and sub headings on a piece of paper then blend them out fully with detailed description of the subject matter.
That's what I have being using to write 11k words in 6 days, with just an Android phone.

Hello sir just 11k words should give you enough pages. By the way ensure you write on a topic that you have prior knowledge on.
If you want to write 10k words, you must be a good story teller and must know how to describe or elaborate fully what you want to write.
