To me it seems the West here are playing Ukraine. How could you encourage Ukraine to join NATO and yet by now refuse to be fully in support of Ukraine for a war. If only all NATO nations would make it clear that an attack against Ukraine is an attack against all 40 NATO nations I know Russia would have a rethink as it cannot face 40 nations at once but guess what? Ukraine will almost fight this war alone and US here is only talking about sanctions instead of talking war to make Russia have a rethink.

Sanctions won't work on the Russian oligarchy and if the US will not go to war they should stop pushing and deceiving Ukraine into joining NATO only to abandon same to its fate. The US is handling this wrongly and Ukraine are bound to be the biggest losers here...

Your Excellency Mr Governor, I think you are getting it wrong. Using security agencies would in fact worsen the problem. Rather, the youths in your state needs reorientation and availability of opportunities.

We know it's so bad these days that young men of under 20s are considering ritual. Every young man aspires for better living and the excuses of working hard to earn a living is outdated. Rather gets your youths to work smart. Train then in IT and compensate them with rewards, little wonder Holland and other responsible countries have the least number of prisoners in the world. That is leadership not threaten your youths. The same threat that never worked for Boko Haram.

The report didn't mention the compelling evidence. I've however noticed a trend whenever cases of rape or defilement are in court, the judges are most likely women and the men are almost certainly done for.

In the case of Baba Ijesa, he told the court he was beaten and threatened to sign the false statement written by a female police officer but the female judge insisted the statement is admissible.

This man may be guilty as charged but why not wait for DNA of the said pregnancy to confirm this case. Raped 14 times and it took witnesses that long to come to the girl's rescue?. With my experiences with women, I know very well the girls can be lying. I can't even trust my wife any longer even though she has been so loyal and loving. Women are true descendants of Eve and Dilaila.

I don't even know why people are blaming you. Your comment shows you obviously didn't follow the story from the beginning. The father had earlier said the boy confessed to been given something to drink and even the autopsy revealed there was a fluid in his system which the coroner cannot determine what fluid it was until that compound is maybe taken to a lab to verify what content it was.

The issue was Kemi later came after the father's revelations and alleged the boy volunteered to join the cult group as against stories by his families and guardian and even the boys last videos alive. She claimed the boy took the initiation chemical on his own accord. The issue with Kemi's point is that if truly all those boys have always taken that fluid as part of initiation process, how come it never killed all of them before now?.

Certainly you should be able to tell that Kemi got it wrong this time by claiming the late boy took the substance by his own free will. Unless Kemi wants us to believe the boy committed suicide and there is nothing here to proof that.

I don't normally comment on people but you forced me out of my shell today. I can truly understand why many here are critical of you. You'll do well to just shut up.

Your mentor has received the highest money of any government in the nations history. Record customs excise and receipts, oil income which has been stable for a while now as against the lies of we met oil at $22. Loans that have quadrupled but besides Lagos to Ibadan rail and purchase and delivery of fighter jets (payment of which was without approval of national assembly) nothing has been started and completed by this government. Yet you think it is funny? So where has all these funds gone into?. At least PDP were honest to admit it was taking loans to pay salaries.

At least even the failure called GEJ started and completed some projects. The east west and Lagos Ibadan roads your mentors campaigned on till now are not completed but propaganda and lies. Tell me one sector this administration has scored more besides false news and lies??

I'm quite amazed about all these incidences if bullying. I also attended the boarding school and in my own school then even though we had somewhat use emotional torture which I won't deny I had my share of doing to juniors, one thing about my school is that you will only get away with it if the said junior never reported you. If he/she did, you are done for. My school never for once swept issues like this under the carpet.

How schools now choose to sweep these under the carpet baffles me, you can't even beat or punish your junior in my own school then, as a matter of fact, there's even a limit to the number of errands these juniors may run for you.

I think these schools let their guards down by not wanting to deal with these students so they won't piss off their parents but trust me, the essence of the school is to remodel the students.

Do these schools teach students to read bible or even get them to participate in religious activities at all?. In our days, seniors lead church and mosques services. You just must be prepared as you can be called to preach unexpectedly. And yes we get beat up by teachers on a steady when we misbehave.

However, beating students at night after lights out is totally strange to me. The last time my roommates tried such, for even being in the room, I was beaten like a criminal and made to sleep outside.

Isn't it crazy that after 5 days we are still searching and clearing at the Ikoyi collpased building. If Femi Osibona who was on 18th floor could be found after 4 days. What is the fate of those on the ground floor.

We have almost 11 military barracks in Lagos and we can't deploy battalion of soldiers there and even military choppers .(After all the military has been known to be more responsive in handling humanitarian disasters).

I drove pass the building 2 days ago and I left home totally hopeless. At 11pm I was surprised work was suspended to be resumed the next morning. What stops us from having 24 shifts of different teams and each team working 1 hour to ensure each team isn't overwhelmed?. These are all Nigerians struggling to survive, finding daily bread, most didn't fall for the temptation of Internet fraud and rather chose to earn a decent living. The least we could do was bring them home alive.

Are we really a nation at all?. I mean these kind of little details matters. Every human being has the potential to change the world and we can't simply allow people die of no oxygen. This rescue shouldn't have taken more than 24 hours max if only we could truly care about ourselves. The only useless news is how someone was denied employment because of their religion. That's a convenient story to tell because the other party is dead and can't speak up for themselves. What a nation indeed!

I am calling for a protest and seriously we need to do better than we are doing. This is the very least we can do.

The British and Americans are sore losers. They have refused to get over their losses. The claim of bribe is rubbish. Sepp Blatter had said the world cup should move around to help develop football in all countries and Qatar had the best proposal ever. They will dismantle all stadiums and donate to football developing countries after the competition, they have a $50b budget and Zidane was their ambassador. England and America were just filled with pride and ego and they felt Qatar (without enough facilities then) and Russia a dictatorship cannot out bid them nor Russia in the case of the US. Same way US lost Olympics to Brazil. Sore losers!

Well as a person who follows international politics there are 3 things I know...a court in Kenya ought to have approved his repatriation as we see in many other cases., second, the British government may be handicapped if his lawyers approach the court in Britain who are often more powerful than government. And lastly if a judgement is given against Nigeria by a UK court, we may not be able to fight it just as the case of P&ID. The court in UK won't play politics and you can be sure the British government unlike Nigerian government can't over power the UK.

I think going for repatriation could have been busy. Malami always seems to give PMB bad advises for an attorney general, he doesn't mean well for the President at all.
