Thanks a lot. smiley

Akposy:
Meat Pie

DOUGH
1½ cup flour
100g margarine (I didn't have scale..so I used 3 pressed)
Pinch of salt
¼ + ⅛ cup water
⅛ cup egg (about ½ egg)

Mix the flour, salt and margarine with your finger tips till it becomes grainy
Make a well in the middle of the flour mix. Add in the egg and water (1 tbsp at a time) till the mix comes together.
Wrap in a cling film and set aside in a cool place or a refrigerator

FILLING
1 medium sized carrot (diced/cubed)
2 green beans (diced)
1 medium/big Irish potato (diced/cubed)
Vegetable oil
Onions (cross chopped)
Minced beef (I used 100 naira beef. The Aboki helped in chopping it into bits..you could also use already prepped minced beef or corned beef depending on the quantity you need and the availability)
Knorr seasoning (1 cube)
Garlic and ginger powder
Curry
Salt to taste
Black pepper or chilli pepper (it depends on how hot you want it)
Corn flour + H20

Boil your potato and carrot in water (a bit salted) for about 5 mins..(it shouldn't be too soft...Al dente at least). Drain and set aside
Saute your onions in your hot vegetable oil till translucent. Add in your beef and fry till it changes from pink to brown (if using corned beef or minced beef). If using raw beef, season and steam first before using.
Add in your potato, carrot and green beans dice. Add in little water and allow to cook.
Add in your spices and seasoning to taste.
Mix your corn flour (or all purpose flour) with water to form a runny paste (about 1½ or 2 tbsp with little water)
Add to the tasty veggies on heat. Stir immediately so the mix will be thick evenly.
Remove from heat and set aside to cool

Roll out, shape and cut your dough with anything you have at your disposal. Put in your filling, seal and coat with egg wash. Also, poke the surface with a fork so heat can escape and cook the dough top properly.
Bake in a preheated oven..not too high or low temp for about......I didn't really time mine. I kept checking with my eyes.

Thanks!!!

Please is anyone using the gynaecologists at R-jolad hospital in gbagada. I have been married for close to two years without a child. My wife has fibroids. Her fibroid don't have symptoms. She isn't in pain, doesn't bleed and all. She just has a bulge at her pelvic region.

Her gynaecologist is suggesting surgery because he couldn't see the Fallopian tubes during a scan. So he concluded that the fibroid is lying against the tube making it less visible.

She also has a high prolactin of about 64ng/ml. She started taking dorstinex today.

I believe she isn't ovulating because of the prolactin.

She got pregnant immediately after our wedding but lost miscarried a month later.

Please can someone explain how progesterone relates to ovulation. She is planning to do it in the 21st Day of her cycle.

For those who have used dorstinex... Did you finish the pack of 8 tablets before seeing results?

Should we do the surgery even though her fibroid ain't showing any symptoms?

We intend doing the surgery at R-jolad hospital when we decide...

I did semen analysis and my count was 43 million per MIL. Motility was 80 percent and 90 percent were normal sperms without any form of disability.

I am 35 years while she is 34
Hello sir, maybe you should try another hospital before you opt for myomectomy since your wife is not showing symptoms.she can also do USS to know the location n size of the fibroid and hsg to ascertain patency of her tubes.I use rjolad sometimes n Dr onaolapo is my gynae although he's currently on vacation. Please and please try to seek a second opinion. It might just be infection not making the tubes visible or you repeat scan elsewhere.speaking from experience my enemy was told same at rjolad n after surgery, tubes were blocked from hsg report when we asked surgeon for d state of my tubes at surgery ,he didn't say anything valid.....to cut long story short ,went elsewhere, took antibiotics n did flushing.i got my patent tubes fromd last hsg report.
