A nairalander was disturbing me some time last year but I kept ignoring him because I don't want anything to do with a nairalander except biz.

After a while, I decided to hear him out and it was the usual chyking.
I looked up his pics on WhatsApp and was put off by what I saw. You could tell he's a married man from his looks and shabby dressing. To think he was claiming single and looking for a lady to settle down with. I immediately blocked him and deactivated my then nairaland account so he can't reach me.

After a while, uncle changed his WhatsApp profile pics, dressed funky. Still his looks we're there. I didn't unblock.

Few months down the line, his Facebook profile popped up on my wall ( you know if you have someones contact, their profile will pop up on your wall once in a while) and I quickly checked and saw where he was giving thanks to all who graced his third childs dedication. .. I Laughed out loud...whaaat

If I was the loose type, he would have deceived himself but he doesn't know that he was dealing with a detective.

So all I'm tryna say from my experience, if a lady tells you she's single, take it to the bank but if a man tells you he's single, hmm... My dear, run o! Lol..

I once taught some kids during d Corona holiday.


The pay was 5k per month and I just needed it (at least to purchase toothpaste, bathing soap and other small stuffs like barbing hair).

Luckily, d place was like a 20 minutes trek from my house. So, I trekked everyday to save cost.

Once paid, the first thing I do is to remove 500naira from d money (for taking myself out and spoiling myself).

I usually buy a bottle of malt + 300naira goat meat.

Then start managing d rest .

A lot changed.


Although I'm not active with d copywriting he taught (for free) , i managed to figure other stuffs out.


Nowadays , its a taboo for a day to pass without me seeing at least 3k (without leaving my room).

It can be 3k, 5 or up to 10.


Yeah...

On lucky days, 15 - 50k at once.

But a day or two doesn't just pass without me seeing some cash.


I regret ever working as a lesson teacher.

Can't even do it for 40k monthly pay.

How far can 10k or 15k sustain her for a month?

That money can't even cover her basic amenities like sanitary pads, recharge card, data subscription, bathing soap, tooth paste, detergents, toilet tissue, cream, perfume... etc.

So what's the purpose of doing the job?

Let her learn a trade then source out capital to start and I strongly believe that she'll make more than 800% of that amount at the end of the month.

Friendship with an ex doesn’t necessarily mean talking and being in close contact with them
For the sake of peace, i try not to bear any grudges against anyone and have my peace of mind

The way my ex broke up with me by avoiding me and acted like i never existed is something i would never do to even my enemy
There are other peaceful ways of communicating on a break up issue

Exes can still be friends with boundaries and not enemies
