Who else noticed that there is no single bill board or posters of Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on the roads of Lagos.

The entire stretches of Ikorodu Express, Apapa-Oshodi, Lagos- Badagry express, Lagos-Abeokuta, Third Mainland Bridge, Lekki-Epe has no single billboard or posters of opposition candidates.
Only Tinubu and Apc candidates faces are everywhere.

Why are Agbors Binis? Why do they bear Igbo names? Where is the relationship in history? Where is the agreement/disagreement in history? Why do the Ika speaking people have Igbo words in their language?

Why are the Agbors and Ukwuanis, among the other people who make up Delta north, if they are not recognized as Igbo people? Okowa became the governor of Delta state because it was the turn of the Igbos of Delta state. All Agbor people jubilated.

Tell us the origin of the Agbor people. Tell us which language was originally spoken; which was lost and at which point? We all know about the present Obi, his father and his grand father.

Educated person tell us about migration. Where did the Agbor people migrate from? How did they get to their present location?

If you cannot, then please simply ask those who know to inform you.

Benin city was the capital of Benin empire and the nobles of Benin empire all had immediate family in Benin city. All empires do that, the centre collects immediate family members of the reigning monarch and that generally includes the next monarch. In a precolonial book, it is mentioned that some Europeans who were in an adventure in West Africa sought the support of the Oba of Benin who then ordered an Obi in his court to protect the Europeans and take some soldiers with him.

What I am saying is that the people of Benin city are the common denominator of the entire Benin empire, wherever you are in Benin empire, people of the same ancestry as yourself are in Benin city and being referred to as "Bini". This is why Benin city is home to all the different people of Benin empire. You are all Edo.

Nigeria became an independent country in 1960. Since then, aside from the brief tenure of Aguiyi Ironsi, brief tenure of Azikikwe as President, three years of Obasanjo’s military leadership, the north has ruled more, up till date. I wonder why they always use the word “this democratic dispensation”, when they talk about tenures. Why do they deliberately fail to tell us that Nigeria became a country in 1960? Why do they overlook Shagari’s period?

Our politicians have brought this country to its knees with tribalism, religion and nepotism. They fired the desire of the tribes to clamour for separation with such comments as this Senator Ekpeyong’s.

The sole reason why they struggle for political power is to line their pockets with money from the common purse. If religion, corruption, eye service and tribalism are set aside, Nigeria should be a very great nation. These are the major challenges that we face.

Under we begin to build infrastructures all over the country, irrespective of tribe, religion, etc, this country will remain at its present position.
