And they want to stop soldiers from resigning, with such reckless moves. How do they determine that those evil men and women are repentant? What if they pretend to be humble, just to get out of detention? Where in the world have they seen governments categorizing terrorists as "repentant" and reintegrating them back into society? Where do they see evil men who have killed several people and destroyed whole villages, allowed to go free after a short detention? Truly the leadership of this country is not serious. What we simply see playing out is nepotism. Some terrorists who are sponsored by certain big men will get their release and then returned to the trenches after a little time. |
MrBanner:And what if the victim was not happy about it? Which one be say pour person water for body, pour person powder for body? Na play dem go play for school abi to learn? No be everybody dey like that play. Unical has a solid VC now and the school is moving forward. |
oyin44:Continue with Association of poverty contributors (APC). As for us, we are LOOKING POSITIVE(LP) for a better Nigeria. Obi is our man. |
Hmmm. They described the car. They saw three men inside. Their timely intervention repelled the move. Dem no arrest them. Which kind story be that? |
SmartPolician:Nigerians are not obsessed with traveling. I disagree bro. Migration is part of man. Bad governance is the major reason Nigerians migrate. The search for better societies is a principal reason Nigerians migrate. You need to wonder why Nigerians choose to pass through land, risking their lives through Agadez, Libya, Morocco, etc. A careful examination will tell you that they RUN AWAY. How can you live in a nation where nothing works? How can you live in a nation where leadership is a shamble? How can you live in a nation where human development is difficult? Republic of Benin is a far smaller nation and our neighbor. Go there and you will find complete peace. Our leaders make life hard. Nigerians have been migrating long before now. But the increase is exponential under this government. Brain drain has been in its highest in the last one year, with our doctors and other professionals going away in droves. Those who remain here believe that Nigeria will be better. You again ask yourself how Nigeria can get better when some youths insist on voting for those who impoverish them, as leaders. Have you ever been to India? You can in no way compare the two countries, in terms of development. India is a dirty nation…agreed. Indians are difficult people…agreed. However economically speaking, you cannot compare the two nations. Their citizens travel to other nations in search of greener pastures…agreed. But see, Nigeria was attractive to Indians before the advent of this administration. Now that there are fewer jobs in the industries and forex is unstable/difficult to remit, how can they choose Nigeria as their destination? We have the chance now to choose the right leader in 2023. Use your PVCs wisely. |
What else do you want to hear? Please let you PVCs do the talking. Obi is the man. |

Na by force again? No equipment to fight. No encouragement. No insurance, in case of loss to life and serious injury. Very poor salary. Facing terrorists with almost bare hands, while the leaders are chopping the money. No be by force again. Let them go AWOL if they are tired. After training, nothing to make the troops happy and retain them. No be by force to continue the work. |
SmartPolician:Nigeria needs honest and strong politically willed leaders. Those who call Wike an emperor did not know what they were asking for when the voted for Buhari in 2015. Those who did not experience the Buhari/Idiagbon military government were only told the story by their parents. That government applied brute force on Nigerians. That government made Nigerians behave themselves. Those who thought that they could turn every public space into toilets, dustbins, etc, changed their minds at the thought of what would befall them, if caught. Nigerians sat up and there was sanity in the land. When Buhari/Idiagbon were removed by IBB and Abacha in August 1985, Nigerians heaved a huge sigh of relief. That relief sent Nigerians back to their very irresponsible normal lives. When Buhari indicated his interest, Nigerians were sold the story of his performance in Dec 31 1983 to August 1985. He has failed to perform on all fronts. We truly need a very honest leader, one with proven integrity, impeccable character, the zeal, accountability, trust worthy, who can lead us out of the woods. We do not need an embezzler, a crook, who dances to the crowd, supported by blind citizens, to take over. Lee Quan Yu passed a law in Singapore at the beginning that had people arrested for peeing in the public. Please visit Singapore today. I have been there. It is one of the most beautiful countries on earth. The reason is great leadership. If corruption and tribalism are taken away from the Nigeria system, Nigeria will be great. Wike may be angry over certain political matters. He may seem high handed, but in this, he did the right thing. Let’s support him for that please. |
Great. They collect mobilization fees, and take many months to mobilize to site. After a little while they apply for variation. Wike is well supported. This way the contractors will be in the feet and deliver according to the schedule. The commissioner too will be at the necks to ensure speedy job completion. Our contractors need this iron hand approach. |
Fantastic. Now festivities continue in the SE. It is always the best place to enjoy your Christmas and end of the year. Too many activities now until at least the middle of January. Markets are on break as business people enjoy their holiday. |
lhordspy:So Tinubu made you to go this length researching and trying to interpret what is obvious to all, as a very serious speech problem? Did you also research on how he was licking the microphone, rather than speak into it? No sane person mocks Tinubu over his medical problems, even the he mocked Tony Anenih many years ago. Every sane person’s concern is the obvious fact that he needs to rest. Did you not notice that you did not make any sense at all? You had to research through English and Yoruba dictionaries to delude yourself and at the end failed woefully. Na waoh. |

What value will that add to the campaign? Is it not the same Buhari, whose northern supporters are lamenting their increased suffering. They trusted him with everything and he disappointed them in everything. Emi lo kan promised and promised and promised. Their promises failed and he still promises more. His blind followers, who live off promises can continue with him. Hardship, penury, poverty, misery, begging and borrowing is in their DNA. Very soon, even garri, epa and sugar will be completely out of their reach. Silently Discos have increased tariffs. Buhari met tariff at 1000 for 44 units. Presently it is 1000 for 13.3 units and yet, APC supporters say they are satisfied. Una never see something yet. Petrol prices na him go finally finish all of una patapata for June this 2023. |
What has chanting Atiku got to do with it? It still does not change the fact that they are all of the PDP. If PDP cannot sanction Wike, then we have clear evidence that Wike is bigger than the party. Anyway youths, your future lies in your hands. Do the right thing. A vote for Mr. Peter Obi, is a vote for a brighter, better and greater future. |
alingo2013:So to you MRI is a written test? Chai! Go school, una no go gree. Kuku read before commenting, that one sef hard. |
Gen Buhari stopped Metroline from take off under Alhaji Lateef Jakande. The cost then was 20 million naira. Today after the billions and many years wasted the rail lines are not completed. |
UnfairLife7:We feel for you honestly. Your lack of shame supporting leaders who enslave, impoverish and degrade you, while youths like you strive to take back their country from the hands of looters and embezzlers. Your inability to see how they feed you crumbs, while they live off your hardship, poverty and sorrow. It is painful that you gave chosen to sleep, while your house is on fire, on all fronts. Honestly we feel for you. |
First time Keyamo said the correct thing in a long time. Obasanjo has always trusted Obi. Even Atiku trusts Obi. All the Obi this, Obi that by PDP shows it pained the party too much losing Obi. If Obi remained in the PDP, Atiku would have easily and speedily chosen him as the vice. Obi's exit showed surprised them all, especially we ith his popularity. The election up for grabs to all contestants. Kwakanso will chop off votes from Atiku and APC in the north, just as Obi as Tinubu will battle it out in the entire south. Na inside all of us dey so. |
Obi for the Presidency. |
olatade:Very foolish of him. Not in any form royalty. He keeps exposing and ridiculing his whole family because of his wife. He gives himself away as jealous that he will never be the King. His earnings from the book will never equate to his entitlements as a Prince. |
Rubbish. Keyamo can only confuse those incapable of reasoning properly. Tinubu was addressing the delegates of his party only according to Keyamo. Tinubu said "emi lo kan" to his delegates, referring to himself and his contribution to APC. Keyamo forgot that the delegates are part of the field workers, who should ensure that he is voted for at the election. Keyamo forgot that the address was captured on national TV. It was meant for all Nigerians to see and support his cause. Was Tinubu joking when he claimed that it was his turn? NO. He meant it and it was a message that he wanted to pass to all Nigerians. Keyamo continues to show his true color as a fake democrat. He continues to show that all those days of his human rights struggle were to make his way for the future politically. The truth is that it is not the turn of Tinubu or any other politician. It is the turn of Nigerians, who have been abused in all forms by politicians. Nigerians need to take back their country from our dangerous leaders and hand it over to leaders who are accountable. For me Obi is No. 1. We need to return the likes of Ribadu, who lost his direction. We need Adesina and hope that someday Okonjo Iweala can return. |
ImperialYoruba:It is very worrisome that while Nigerians abroad cry to the highest heavens of racism against them, some are racists in their own country and are deeply angry at others, hypocritically. This article does not only show how deeply hypocritical and jealous of the Igbos that the writer is, it shows how deeply resentful certain individuals of the Yoruba stock hate the Igbos and are willing to go to war to chase the Igbos away from their country. No wonder presently, when there are vacancies in apartments, you hear landlords and tenants say "no Igbos needed". The irresponsible OP has either forgotten or is ignorant of the fact in our constitution that freedom of movement and association is cardinal. The Yorubas are free to move and associate with others Nationwide (and they do), just like the Igbos. Go around all the cities and villages of the so called Igbo states, and you"ll find Yorubas happily habiting and carrying out the trades and businesses unmolested there. Today we have our Yoruba citizens in the cabinets of the present UK, USA and Canadian governments. We have our Yoruba citizens thriving in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and other parts of the world as citizens of those countries. They own properties and have completely assimilated and settled down in those countries with their families. No one discriminates against them. How is it that certain of our Yoruba citizens are so full of bike, racism and hatred for the Igbos in this manner? Because you have not ventured out of your tiny one room enclave OP, you do not know that Igbo lands spread as far as the South south. You do not know that the Igbos have been clamouring for the creation of a sixth state, to be called Anioma and carved out if the present Delta State. Maybe you are too young to know that when Delta State was created, there was an expectation that the old Bendel state would be cut into three, with the Igbo speaking parts and the present Onitsha and Ogbaru areas in Anambra state added to make up Anioma state. IBB whose wife was from Asaba pushed for this with all her energy, but the then military government only gave Delta State and politically made Asaba the capital. There was deep resentment by other ethnic tribes, who wanted the capital in Warri. They wanted their own state, DELTA state to themselves only. OP if you are not a complete OLODO, you would have known this fact. If Peter Obi made the claim about Igbo lands in Delta State, he was absolutely correct because those are Igbo communities and Igbo lands undisputably. Only God knows how you mumus sit down to contrive such thoughts and plan to carry out your evil on those who have nothing against you. If you claim that Nigeria is one indivisible country, why then should some Nigerians be restricted? In Lagos, there are areas historically known to habit our northern brethren. They have lived peacefully among the Yorubas and other groups for uncountable years. In Ajegunle, you have "Aga Hausa" as it is called. You have them in Idi Araba and Agege. How have you not pushed them away? You have those of the South South in Jibowu, Fadeyi, Lawanson predominantly. How have you no pushed them away? The Igbos purchase lands, build houses, just like others, not because they choose to seize lands. They choose to cut of rentage and increase their economy through owning of properties. Whose fault is it that you sit on your lazy arse, waiting for crumbs from politicians and telling us this your foolish " baba so pe" story? Who took away your own right to own properties in Igbo territories or the North? How even does Ruga affect your lazy self, when you are not willing to work, but prefer to rely on your father's property? How are you not complaining about the northerners, Chadians, Nigeriens and Malians who have taken over the cities and small communities nation wide, wreaking havoc, killing and maiming? While you sleep and dream only of the Igbos, your cowardly self do not realise that Ruga or not you have been surrounded by the northerners completely. They have taken over petty trading completely. They are the fruit sellers, petty tailors, okada men, korope and marwa drivers, water suppliers, gatemen, shoe makers, etc and informants to terrorists. Why not summon the courage to write an article against them? I take it that you are simply a pathological coward, who does not know where his problem lies. |
Hmmmm |
Jagbajantis intete. We are talking of water projects across the length and break of the state, this yeye OP is glorifying the commissioning of boreholes. No wonder they are enslaved. E don dey wear comrade cloth again. After election he will return to suits. |
