That's why you see government providing all the infrastructures in rail, road and water transport. Government provides the enabling environment for private investors to participate. That was the story in Lagos until the early 70s when Kia Kia (now termed danfo) entered the stage. Lagos had Oluwole, Marco Polo before then. Other cities and states had the lorries, etc run by private investors, but corruption set in and the entire country has been engulfed in this misery and pain.

Some of our governors introduce plans and projects that should make our societies better. The same politicians destroy everything out of their greed and wickedness.

Look with the state of our roads and others, life is much more difficult for the citizens. That's why we must vote for the right leaders, irrespective of tribe or religion.
