jeff1993:What is problem with that young fellow. Do you know the sleepless nights? Do you know the misery? Do you know the pain and sadness? Her mates long became grandmothers and she just became a mother. Do you know how painful? Do not mock other people over their pains. You do not know what awaits you tomorrow. Watch your comment. |
DOptical:If there is Ijaw or Urhobo, when then the three local governments there? By the way, how can there be a Warri state, with such dispute? I think all parties shoul co-habit in peace. Afterall all the tribes intermarry and share families. Let’s pray for lasting peace. |
Hm. For us Nigerians, we have seen so many surprises from politicians and nothing surprises us any more. Nothing happens today in Nigeria in relation to politics that would be seen as something new. Cross carpeting seems the past time of Nigerian politicians, particularly those who have been in the political wilderness for a while. Ihedioha falls within the category, having been out of power for quite a while. His surrender to Sam Anyanwu the last time appears unbearable and the party not willing to offer him the platform to contest once again. Will he join Hope Uzodimma in the APC, or will he join Labour Party in his state? Surely PDP cannot call him a political nobody. The ability of PDP to call his bluff must also be questioned by the leadership. PDP needs all hands on deck in the attempt to retake Imo state from the ruling APC. Can Ihedioha and Uzodimma be in APC together? Is there any promise of contesting on the ticket of APC available for him? Can the Mbaise people be able to muster their population strength to get their own into that seat into 2027? Again, it is no longer in dispute that LP has come of age. With all that self denial of APC at the national and the states, surely, LP is no pushover. With his visit to Alex Otti, the only LP governor, is Ihedioha paving the way for himself and his teeming supporters to join Labour Party? Let’s see how it goes. |
Thundafireseun:E get phone we e dey use. That phone na only 3 - 5 people get the number. Any mistake to use any of his personal phones, dem don trap am. Katakata everywhere. Foolish man should have visited EFCC to know how far long ago. Avoiding arrest further adds to the belief that he stole public resources. |
Nonsense talk. That’s how they watched Okorocha, Uzodimma and co leaving the party, with no peace restored. Today PDP is a mockery of itself in Imo state and the SE as a whole, which was its stronghold. Atiku MYST be requested to drop his ambition so the party can move forward please. Wike’s greed and ambition too must be curtailed for the party to have some peace and respite. |
Very reckless comment. At about 70, Bashiru Alli should be resting or seeking some political office, or better still get into position as a sports adviser. I wonder what he wants to achieve with this kind of contest. The organs are weak. Even Mike Tyson has been alerted of his own weakness, despite his strong looking physical condition. Hopefully he can apologize to the minister, or risk selling off his possessions to pay the possible charges. |
Pepperdemisback:I told you. You resemble Bobrisky too much. Chai. Agafu! |
erniok:He disgraced himself and his church. Further adding to the assertion that they know absolutely nothing about the Bible, except sacrifices. |
Pepperdemisback:Na you sabi. E must pepper you die. Agafu. |
Almiron:I thought we were exchanging banters. I was not in anyway abusive to you. What a shame. Because you were abusive, abuses will always meet you and your foolish words have set into your miserable and irresponsible from today, to make you suffer endlessly. |
Almiron:Bros why this matter pain you enter blood so? No be we say make Alex Ferguson retire o. Na since that year Man U begin dey roll for mud. Ok because of that, see the result at Old Trafford: Man U 0 - Arsenal 6 Full and final. Watch out for it. |
oluwaseyi0:Yes. But do not forget that Tottenham at this point must become very dangerous. They lost to Arsenal today and must work hard to get into champions league position ahead of Aston Villa. Not yet uhuru for City bro. |
garfield1:If you dey Asaba meet me for Hampton. Fish pepper soup and beer for you |
helinues:Always talking rubbish. You no get shame. Say no to tribalism and yet you shamelessly propagate it, Mr. Fake one Nigeria. Your head like pako bridge! |
ThatFairGuy1:Bow your face in shame. Say no to tribalism. Your nose like pig nose. |
EnterpriseMan:Sorry about that. But will you call Tottenham an average team? That's not correct, I may say. Also do not forget that it is a home match for Tottenham. They also need to play in the champions league next season and Aston Villa stands in their way. I am sure that with this loss to Arsenal, they will play like wounded lions to see if they can achieve that. |
April4th:Thank you for your response. It gets painful each time this Ijaw/Itsekiri/Urhobo struggle for Warri comes up. The fights that have cut short the lives of Soma y youths should be enough to teach all parties the lessons that they need in peaceful co-habitation. I tend to agree that oil is the principal driver of the battle for that land. Have you heard the Urhobo narrative of the ownership? Take a look at the communities and towns under the three local governments and let's hear your opinion who controls more. 1 ODE ITSEKIRI Itsekiri Warri South 2 AJAIGBA Itsekiri Warri South 3 INORIN Itsekiri Warri South 4 USELE Itsekiri Warri South 5 ODOGENE Itsekiri Warri South 6 UGBODEDE Itsekiri Warri South 7 ORUGBO Itsekiri Warri South 8 UBAERURE [BENNETH ISLAND] Itsekiri Warri South 9 KPISAN Itsekiri Warri South 10 AJAENETSEMI Itsekiri Warri South 11 AJADIDIARE Itsekiri Warri South 12 AJAKPEMINAGHAN Itsekiri Warri South 13 FUNGBE Itsekiri Warri South 14 ODION Itsekiri Warri South 15 ELDERS TOWN [DAUDU] Itsekiri Warri South 16 OKERE – ODEKPORO Itsekiri Warri South 17 OKERE – OGUNOBITE Itsekiri Warri South 18 OKERE – ODEILE Itsekiri Warri South 19 OKERE – IDIMIJAKPA Itsekiri Warri South 20 OKERE – AJAMIMOGHA Itsekiri Warri South 21 OKERE – IDIMISOBO [UDUMU SOBO] Urhobo Warri South Alias Okere Urhobo 22 EKUREDE Itsekiri Warri South 23 UGBORI Itsekiri Warri South 24 UGBUWANGWE Itsekiri Warri South 25 IFIEKPORO Itsekiri Warri South 26 AJAETAN Itsekiri Warri South 27 IJALA Itsekiri Warri South 28 IJALA-IKEREN Itsekiri Warri South 29 UBEJI Itsekiri Warri South 30 EGBOKODO Itsekiri Warri South 31 OMADINO Itsekiri Warri South 32 OBODO Itsekiri Warri South 33 ORERE-OLUBA Itsekiri Warri South 34 UGBORITSEDUWA Itsekiri Warri South 35 AJAOSOLO Itsekiri Warri South 36 UWAKENO Itsekiri Warri South 37 UGBO OLAJA Itsekiri Warri South 38 AGBASSA Urhobo Warri South 39 EDJEBA Urhobo Warri South 40 OGUNU Urhobo Warri South 41 IGBUDU Urhobo Warri South 42 ORERE Itsekiri Warri South-West 43 AGOGBORO Ilaje Warri South-West 44 SUMUGE Ilaje Warri South-West 45 COSTAIN Ilaje Warri South-West 46 UGBOEGIN Itsekiri Warri South-West 47 UBAOKE Itsekiri Warri South-West 48 OLOTIE Itsekiri Warri South-West 49 OKITIMEKPE Itsekiri Warri South-West 50 YOUNGMAN TOWN Itsekiri Warri South-West 51 ODEUGBORODO Itsekiri Warri South-West 52 ARUNTAN Itsekiri Warri South-West 53 UGBOEGUNGUN Itsekiri Warri South-West 54 UBAEGBEMEJI Itsekiri Warri South-West 55 AJAEDEDE Itsekiri Warri South-West 56 SAGHARATIE Itsekiri Warri South-West 57 OTUMARA Itsekiri Warri South-West 58 OGIDIGBEN Itsekiri Warri South-West 59 AKPAKPA Itsekiri Warri South-West 60 AJUDIABO Itsekiri Warri South-West 61 MADANGHO Itsekiri Warri South-West 62 JAGHALA Itsekiri Warri South-West 63 KPOKPO Itsekiri Warri South-West 64 BATEREN Itsekiri Warri South-West 65 DEGHELE Itsekiri Warri South-West 66 BOBI Itsekiri Warri South-West 67 OLOBE Itsekiri Warri South-West 68 UGBOGBODU Itsekiri Warri South-West 69 BATERENTIE Itsekiri Warri South-West 70 ORUMAGEGE Itsekiri Warri South-West 71 KANTU Itsekiri Warri South-West 72 UBAKOKOJE Ijaw Warri South-West 73 OKEREGHIGHO Ijaw Warri South-West Alias Okerenkoko 74 OGBE-IJOH Ijaw Warri South-West 75 ISABA Ijaw Warri South-West 76 JELEJELE Ijaw Warri South-West 77 DIEBIRI Ijaw Warri South-West 78 IJANSA Ijaw Warri South-West 79 OGHEYE Itsekiri Warri North 80 OBOGHORO Itsekiri Warri North 81 UGOGOEGIN Itsekiri Warri North 82 TONLILA Itsekiri Warri North 83 DALE-OKETA Itsekiri Warri North 84 OTOTO Itsekiri Warri North 85 EKEKPORO Itsekiri Warri North 86 EKETIE Itsekiri Warri North 87 UGBEGE Itsekiri Warri North 88 EBOKITI Itsekiri Warri North 89 JAKPA Itsekiri Warri North 90 JAKPATIE Itsekiri Warri North 91 AJABOYO Itsekiri Warri North 92 AJAMITA Itsekiri Warri North 93 UDO Itsekiri Warri North 94 GBOKODA Itsekiri Warri North 95 TEBU Itsekiri Warri North 96 OBAGHORO Itsekiri Warri North 97 EBROHIMI Itsekiri Warri North 98 TISUN Itsekiri Warri North 99 KOLOKOLO Itsekiri Warri North 100 EGHORO Itsekiri Warri North 101 BRESIBI Itsekiri Warri North 102 UREJU Itsekiri Warri North 103 UBESIN Itsekiri Warri North 104 KOKO BEACH Itsekiri Warri North 105 NANA TOWN Itsekiri Warri North 106 AJAOLUGBETI Itsekiri Warri North 107 OBONTEGHAREDA [DUDU TOWN] Itsekiri Warri North 108 AJAGBODUDU Itsekiri Warri North 109 OBITEUGBO Itsekiri Warri North 110 ABEGBORODO Itsekiri Warri North 111 OKOGHO Itsekiri Warri North 112 OGBENBIRI Ijaw Warri North 113 OGBUDUGBUDU Ijaw Warri North 114 OPUAMA Ijaw |

EnterpriseMan:They have Tottenham and Man u to play. Both teams are desperate for one reason or the other. City will drop points. |
garfield1:Garfield, how you dey? I dey on life beer now, celebrating that victory. |
No common sense. Why is it called a beach resort? Can you have a beach resort on a desert? Or should it be located in front of your house? Why is it called a beach? Why are people attracted to the place? OP, no common sense o! |
Is it worth talking about? What’s the sentiment about please? |
Hmm. This man absolutely deceives his congregation with his very clear lack of Biblical knowledge. Prophet Isaiah was married to one wife with children, Isaiah 8:3. Prophet Jeremiah was strictly forbidden to get married. Prophet Elijah has no such record of his marriage to any woman. Ezekiel was married, but no information about how many wives. This confusionist must be referring to Moses and Abraham only. He tried to justify his father's marriage to several woman. Who knows how many women this man married himself? |
With Declan Rice, Thomas Partey and Odegaard on that pitch, Tottenham no go see front! |
If Ngozi Ikebe fail to arrange fresh fish and beer for me and my guys after this game, I must stop to go her shop. My money dey push me to enjoy. Three Life beer and fresh fish for me after this game. My Belle too sweet me. Gunners all the way! |
CodeTemplar:Especially those akara women. What about fish buyers? Those women who buy fish from farmers? If you do not belong to the association, they call the police on you. Is it within the legal limits of the monarch? Hopefully he’s not overstepping his limits in the kingdom and state. However, that’s a very good move and hopefully the people can cooperate to implement them all. That’s a forward thinking King. |
Buccalcavity2:Hahahahahaha. Brother, Osun state brings more in terms of natural resources to the center than Cross Rivers and Katsina states. Governors are in no way lazy. They simply hold the positions to enable them loot the states dry. Whatever is left when they assume power, is looted and the state further put into debt. Have you wondered what happened the the amounts saved by Obi in Anambra state? What did Obiano do with it? He spent all and sent the state back into red, leaving Soludo to struggle with resources. In all, we need leaders who are up and doing. We need leaders who are creative and are development driven. We need leaders who are accountable to the citizens. We also need citizens who will vote for leaders not on the basis of tribe or religion. We need citizens who will not accept bribes to vote for the wrong people and thereafter turn to claim that they are hungry. That way we can have a very great country. Thanks and enjoy your Sunday. |
OGHENAOGIE:Correct. |
Hm. Very horrible looking young men. They look very dangerous. If these two are armed with guns, they’ll be merciless. Beating them to a pulp will not solve the matter. The head of that one on the left looks like Amukoko road. |
This month of April? There are only three days to go! |
[quote author=April4th post=129659625][/quote]Warri is definitely not an Ijaw name. It was the colonial masters who called the name Warri go make it easy for pronounciation. The Itsekiris called it Iwerre, among others. So far I have not found the Ijaw or Urhobo names. I am not holding brief for the Itsekiris. You may please research and clear it. Thanks. |
Buccalcavity2:You make me laugh bro. But you are giving excuses to drive home your point. Have I made the wrong statistics or comparison? The point remains that there is no basis for comparing the two states, seeing that Lagos had the better advantages in terms of evolution and finance. You think Lagos is termed the "most populous city" for nothing? With the likes of Aregbesola and Fayemi, why have those states not fared like Lagos State? Why are Sokoto, Bauchi and Borno, still suffering large scale underdevelopment? Abuja became the administrative capital in 1991. It was carefully planned and developed. Why has it become such a developed city in such a short time, looking more beautiful than Kano and Rivers State? |
