If city win their outstanding game and win every match feom then on to win the league, i wont begrudge them that. Even Fergie cant even stop it. We mustn't win the league this season. I just want a title race which will conote progress.
By the summer will be looking at solving our weakness. By getting a reliable CDM, CB and CF and then see from there

A point at Anfield is a fantastic result. With little more luck we would have won. Look at the league table, that rubbish statistics of winning big teams is generated by rival fans to see what to hold on to. If you win the league, nobody cares who you win.

We were toothless in the first half even though Liverpool’s defence was sh1t.

I get that we should have won, but they too have chances, We are really progressing as a team, last season this game would have been a loss. To win Wolves, Villa, Burnley and a point at Anfield in a pressure soked period shows we are doing well. Yes there is a room for improvements but its not all doom and gloom

We have not been doing well against big teams. For us to win the league, we need to get some wins against big clubs.

All our matches this season apart from this one are during the time we are not in form. We did not have any preseason so have a slow start of the season. I can guarantee you that if we replay those matches now we will win some of those games. A point at Anfield at this stage of the season is a fantastic result which even Ferguson in his hay days will be happy with. League season is a marathon not a sprint.

Get out KDB is not better. Bruno has led his team to the top of the league table even with a much lesser quality and less experienced squad and Manager. You guys are really pissed off with Bruno long ago due to hiw he has transformed us from banter club to real titke contenders, and are looking for an opportunity to have a go at him. We have seen this over the years with our former players like Ronaldo, Van Nistelrooy and Rooney. Its not new.

And i ask you again, how is KDB better? On what evidence particularly?

AWB can't mark Mane and Robertson at the same time. He is good but not that good.

Why not then put Rashford on Robertson rather than Pogba. Pogba should come central to make things happen, Rashford has not been effective in the position he is now

McT grew immensely as the match went on... very tidy with the ball after some initial misplaced passes. Fred and Shaw have been really good too.

Maguire was shaky at the start but also improved as the game.l went on.

We need to reduce the amount of time we play out from the back. Maguire has been shaky with his passes

Pogba and Bruno need to be more aggressive. Mcto. And Shaw doing well so far

Like Doc mentioned, there are other qualities other than just being solid in front of the backline.

Can he find searching passes accross the midfield?
How does he function when opponents forms low block.
Is he good on the ball?
There is a big difference between playing in a team with double pivot and one that will try to unlock defence, we are complaining of AWB's attacking ability because he plays for Man utd, if he plays in West Ham everybody will be hailing him

I suspect Amaka will go with that 4-2-2 mainly because of Pogba’s form.
He will want to play both Pogba and Bruno but will field 2 CDMs behind them as insurance.

I am suspecting it will be McFred even though i appreciate Matic’s superiority on the ball.

Whatever line up he uses he must ensue that the tactic matches the lineup.

For example you can’t play Maguire, Matic, Pogba, Lindelof together and be pressing high up the pitch.

Yeah. No doubt Pogba will start. Its going to be same line up with the last game, just that he will remove one of the forward players for McTom and/or Fred.
Except for injuries, for me I think Matic with one of the Mcfred will be better. Liverpool dont have quick midfielders si matic will be better, and we need somebody who will always release our attackers for a run at their defence

Matic to sit permanently at the base to orchestrate play. Fred in CM to mark, he will have to really work hard, Pogba and Bruno to occasionally drop deep to help him out. While Rashford and Martial have a run at their defence. Bruno and Pogba too., but we have to be very clinical.

This time it will be Robertson o. A word is enough for the wise.

3-5-2. Formation will be a sucide for us like the game vs Leipzig. Liverpool is overated, they have very big issues in thier defence, so they sacrificed Henderson and Fabinho to cover up. We need Fred and co to disrupt their play and limit supplies to and fro Robertson and TAA. Pogba and Matic can take care of thier midfielders, Thiago, wijnaldum and Ox are not that fast. We dont need to allow Robertson to thrive, once we block him, our defence will submerge thier attackers especially Mane who will have to contend with AWB and Bailly.

Ole please give me this lineup against Liverpool.

DDG, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw AWB, - Matic, Fred- Pogba, Bruno- Rashford, Martial/Greenwood.

Matic to sit at the base completely and control things . Fred to track the runs of Robertson and TAA and prevent them from crossing. Pogba to roam as usual and cause the opposition problems. Bruno to continue to find space across the defence and make late runs. While our front 2 must be clinical. Cavani is better when he comes on in 2nd half, looking at his best contributions it have come towards the end. So we must persist with Martial for now.

I have strong hopes that Martial will turn a corner this season and he will do it in the most crucials of times.
