15 goals in 2004/2005 season that record stands till today. That season he did not concede for 1025 minutes, a record. Until Vaan der sar broke it in 2009 with 1311 minutes spanning 13 matches. Although i feel Van der sar was better but the general debate i think is between Schmeichel and Cech who is better.

A good plan might be Championship or German Bundesliga for 1 season then replace Matic in 2021.

For me Championship is better, a top championship side that could be promoted. It worked for Henderson and Tuanzebe.

For DDG, i was crying in the summer to get rid of him quickly or at least not to give him that contract. BOOM! a huge pay, I was surprised as was this an appreciation for the wonderful years his had with us or a reflection of his current ability? The former seems true for me. Yes. Since Martial has decided to keep blowing hot and cold we need to get another CF. I would not spend on defence for now. A CF, a RW, 1 midfielder (if Pogba stays) or 2 midfielders (if Pogba goes).

Honeslty our defence is ok, if not for DDG Brian fart yesterday, it would have been another clean sheet, and Bailly has to come in at this stage, Lindelof is putting panic in our defence.
Sancho this summer is a MUST, we must find a sharp CF who according to OGS will break a nose to score, my brother look at Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota, whenever I see those guys score, I just weep, only Rashford scores with the kind of regularity they do and with commitment, the way they charge at passes, the way the shoot and put in their bodies, Only Rashford does that. But most importantly, DDG issue must be addressed, do whatever you like, if you GK puts your opponents in front, there is pretty much nothing you can do. Even this current Liverpool team will struggle against Everton if Allison makes it 1-0 against them in 2 minutes

2) We can't spend money on a RB again. AWB is decent overall and we have 3 younger RBs in the team that may be pushing him for a starting berth in the next couple of years.

In terms of the full back crossing it is not just about instructions. AWB to an extent and Shaw especially are not confident one time crossers. Dalot and Williams (when he plays on the right) are more confident/competent with that aspect of the game.

I also think we need a striker that sits inside the box, when Ighalo came on yesterday, there were many opportunities, Fernandez brought 2 in particular, including the one Baines cleared wonderfully. I think Ole would have started Ighalo yesterday instead of Greenwood, and dropped Mctomminay for Mata. In my humble opinion, Daniel James was sorely missed in this match.

Honestly, I know you people will say i talk too much about this issue, But, how can a GK earning 350k/ week will keep giving opponents head starts one too many times to cost us point.

Apart from today. The few i can remember are.

He is 2nd behind Dubraska in errors leading to goal, how can we keep on putting up with this? The difference between making 4 and not making it are just fine margins, we lost top 4 to man city in 2016 on goal difference, that error vs palace that cost us 1 point, might just be difference. I love DDG very well but even when I try, i couldn't see him make jaw dropping saves, nowadays any shot in our post my mind fly, No team achieves anything with a GK who keep making errors. Lampard dropped a 70m keeper to play 40 year old Caballero, Klopp offloaded mignolet and Karius to win Champions league, Imagine is those 2 errors from Karius were prevented, Liverpool might have won the UCL instead of madrid, Imagine if Van der sar committed an error in our tensed final with Chelsea in Moscow. Barthez won the world cup came to United, after some errors fergie binned him for Tim Howard. 2 points, 1 points, 3 points dropped here and there due to errors or inability to keep out a routine shot, is costing us and will cost us dearly. Ole has make changes in the summer in the GK department.

Van dijk has been world class for the past 2 Seasons. If he can keep it up for the next 2 to 3 seasons he will be a great defender. Allison and Van Dijk are the only true world class players Liverpool have in my opinion.
