Lindelof has been crap with his weak defensive headers, and tendency to pass the ball to an opponent under the slightest pressure.

Maguire's problem is his tendency to hold on to the ball for days only to pass the ball to a tightly marked LB.

Liverpool gained 2 points from VAR penalty vs Leicester
Another 2points VAR penalty vs Spurs
Another 2 points VAR goal ruled out vs Leicester

Add those to City and remove those from LiVARpool and see the gap

Been off this thread a while and I come back to same dumb Bleep analysis as I left here.

I keep reading analysis like it was unwise that we spent 130m on the defense and it was unnecessary...I’m like seriously? Did a human just type that shit? Combo of smalling and Jones were purely atomic bombs waiting detonation in our team over the years and hell were they detonated times without number. A dumb Bleep here also said the defense wasn’t the problem but just the midfield and attack. Hell did we have problems in all departments in this team and the easiest to fix was the defense which was rightly done, next window we focus on midfield or and attack. And then comes a decent bench. A good defense starts with confidence and hell were smalling and jones lacking all that, mag and linds partnership have calmed the play down and less frantic at the back.

And for those dumb bleeps saying Bissaka is useless, damn! Never have I seen more useless football comment in my life. Stupid online loud mouths everywhere.

Before Pep, Barcelona had won the UCL in 2006 so winning after 3 years wasn't the hardest of task. At Bayern, he met a UCL winning team and couldn't make a final after 3 attempts. At City, he took over a UCL semi finalist but after three tries, he is yet to go past the quarters.

Fergie coached many title winning teams. I always maintain that reaching the top isn't the most difficult job but staying there for as long as possible. When Ole joined United, we played very well and then things went south. Klopp and Pep will give you a maximum of 3 - 4 years of good football and once their star men fade away or move on, they can't rebuild, they look to move on to start all over again.
