DDG is not complaining anywhere, he’s doing his job as a professional that he is. Where the talk of ego or indiscipline coming from? It’s now ego or indiscipline to ask for increment in wages especially when the previous contract is running down?

Players have dip in form sometimes and you know that. DDG has never been a liability to the club, the young man has treated the club with respect and he’s not the reason why we didn’t make top 4. If your attackers had done their job effectively we won’t be where we are currently.

Ederson, Allison and Oblak are not better than DDG.

Only thing is IF they are going we must get top dollar for them. However it would be so much better if we could somehow be successful with them in the team.

In terms of the squad at large, I would offload about 10 players as well, buy 5 new players and promote/recall 5 players from youth team.

The best are players like Umtiti and Dybala who have much to prove.

I have always advocated for the sale of Pogba as far back as during Mou debacle then but I’m not really sure the board will want to sell him unless he really want to bounce.

Ferguson shipped out Stam and he went on to be fantastic elsewhere, but that didnt stop him ditching Roy Keane, Beckham and Van Nistelrooy, when their ego got better of them and has the potential of ruining the dressing room. That will make others to sit up, whenever a player misbehaves, he will be reminded how big legendary players were forced out of the team, that will make him know he is not above the club. Its unfortunate but for me, DDG is a big liability now, both in terms of performance and atmosphere. Pogba is an epitome of disunity and indiscipline, i dont care about his talent.

The former Red Devils goalscorer is set to take over at Old Trafford if United can negotiate his release from Molde, according to ESPN FC.

Solskjaer is currently in charge of the Norwegian side but looks set to succeed Jose Mourinho on a temporary basis.

Ed Woodward told Mourinho this morning he would no longer be United manager.


But the Red Devils are preparing to appoint an interim manager until the end of the season.

And it appears ex-Cardiff boss Solskjaer, who was a fan-favourite during his time as a player at Old Trafford, will return to the Premier League.

Mourinho was unwilling to work under a director of football amid all the difficulties he and the club have faced this season, and Sunday’s 3-1 defeat at Liverpool proved the final straw.

Solskjaer, though, is unlikely to have an issue with that set-up, it is believed.

The 48-year-old has worked at United beyond his playing days before, having coached the first-team strikers under Sir Alex Ferguson in the 2007/08 campaign.

Solskjaer was also United's full-time reserve team manager from the summer of 2008 until the end of 2010 before he left to take charge at Molde.

After a successful spell as boss at the club he left to join United as a player, Solskjaer was appointed as Cardiff's manager in January 2014.

He failed to keep the Welsh club in the Premier League, though, and was sacked by September after a poor start to their Championship season.

Solskjaer took over at Molde again in October 2015 and has been in that role ever since, earning a win percentage of 55.9%.

With the former Red Devils forward set to return to Old Trafford, it is suggested Ferguson's old assistant Mike Phelan will come in too as Solskjaer's right-hand man.

Phelan was let go by David Moyes when he succeeded Ferguson after being told there was no room for him in the coaching set up back in 2013.

United are currently being led my Michael Carrick while they look to sort the managerial situation, and they are preparing for Saturday's Premier League trip to Solskjaer's old side Cardiff (5.30pm).
