Birmingham is a big city and cost of living is low. There are also job opportunities. Cost of living in London is very is very high in London especially accommodation so does not worth it as a student.

However, if your concern is to stay in UK, wait for September admission and go to any of these schools. Post study visa will be effected for students who begin September 2020.

You will get 2 years post study visa when u graduate.

Good day all the guru in the house, I need advice on choosing between this two schools Birmingham City University and university of Northampton.

Both offered me admission for my MBA.

Tuition fees is 13K+ for BCU and UON is 9k+ after scholarship.

Resumption date for BCU is February and UON is January.

I need advice based on jobs in both cities, employability after the program and how well recognized are both institutions to employers, cost of living in both States.

If you are not studying Nursing or other marketable health courses, forget anything employability, nobody will employ you when you finish, forget recognition of the institution, except its oxford, cambridge, UCL, imperial college etc.

Based on my own opinion, my opinion i repeat. I will go for Northampton, nothing happens in Birmingham really. I will advise people to go to schools in the urban areas in the uk, ( except if you are on scholarship). There are also rural areas in the UK, and students jobs are hard in some of these areas, if you need hustling go to london or some of the happening areas. Ask yourself why most schools recently started opening london campuses upandan. Nobody wan enter village

I dont want to demarket Anglia Ruskian, but please find another university in London that will give u 2 year course.

Try University of East London, Greenwich University, Middlesex University. Or go to Luton's University of Bedfordshire.

There fees and Scholarships is better than ARU, and Cambridge or Chelmsford whichever one you are is not sustainable i swear

All you need are..marriage certificate, family pictures, whatsapp chat log or call log or emails communication. If you have visited your wife then boarding pass, entry stamp etc Then the financial evidence(maintenance money)

I have started the online application, paid the health surcharge fee, but have not paid the visa fee and submitted finally. I want to wait till the financial evidence reaches more than 28 days, before finally submitting, because as i saw in previous pages in this thread, The financial evidence must be in the account for at least 28 days before online application is done. Now that i have paid just the IHS surcharge doesnt it mean that I have submitted the application? Or do i have to paid the visa fee before its deemed submitted. I am considering cancelling the application, but will have to wait 60 days to get my IHS back, thats 778 dollars. It will be too hard for me.

Multiply by exchange rate of the day you submitted your online application. Say today.
So its 11135 x 466.300 = 5,193,000 naira.


Please make sure the 1000 pounds scholarship is automatic and will be reflected in the CAS otherwise the money you will need to show in your account increases by 1000 pounds. Hence 12135 pound x 466.300

No the payment can still hold more than a month as at Sept 2019, while application wipes after 6months of you not logging back in and it is only submitted when you get the GWF.....number and rerouted to TLS page.
Please leave a day after the 28th day noting that Day 1 is the next after you had full deposit.
Even if you had submitted ,you could have cancelled so long as you have not had biometrics.
Wait for full count + a day to be on the safe side.

Thanks you very much. I will wait for the 30th day before paying for the Visa Fee. Its only the Health surcharge that I have paid. Although from what i saw GWF have been generated though. But I have not submitted the application and have not been rerouted to TLS page.

Alright thanks. Again I nearly committed a big blunder, I nearly submitted the online application yesterday. To book the biometric appointment on the 12 Nov, since the maintenance will reach the 28 days mark on the 11th of November. Unknown to me that the 28 days period does not include the period from submission of online application to the day of biometric appointment. Thank God i followed your timeline and saw where you told someone about it previously. But my fear now is that I have started the online application and even paid the health surcharge, I have not paid for the VISA fee yet (honestly I nearly did, I didnt because i just wanted to confirm an Address). So as it stands now I have not clicked submit. So as it stands now i wont submit the application till next month.
Please, hope the early payment of the Health surcharge doesn't mean i have completed the application?
And is there a time an online application will timeout if not completed? Because as it stands now i will have to wait for another 21 days to submit.

It has to be kept for 28days in whatever currency.
The rate on Oanda the day you submit online is what will be used.

Sorry dear, my wife is the dependent. She requires 6120 pounds. I as a student is the one that needs 9135, i already did that last December. Maintenance money for dependants outside london is 6120 pounds i am very very sure.

Hello please brethren, i am applying for a tier 4 dependent visa for my Wife. What she has in her account as maintenance is 3m, for outside london. What is required for outside london is 6120 pounds. As British pounds is gaining in the market now, i am afraid that before the 28 days elapse it may exceed the 3m in the account. Currently pounds is at 369. I am really afraid. Please what date do they check for an for maintenance, is it the date I submit the application online or the date of appointment, because The maintenance need to stay 3 more weeks to mature.
