I prefer Yedder because of his age, and he'll definitely start more if he joined the club, but there's this playing mentality i love about Mandzukic despite his advanced age, which is why i don't mind him as a backup attacker.
With that mentality, he should be able to adapt to the Premier league easily and hopefully score a lot of goals.

SkySports reported that Dybala doesn't want any 25% cut in his wages if the club fail to qualify for UCL, doesn't sit well with me. Looks like he's trying not to lose out if he underperforms.

If they like or not, they should sell Smalling, Jones, Rojo and Darmian and the rest of the deadwood. As long as OGS doesn't use them, Woodward will be forced to get rid of them and buy replacements.

OGS should just use the youngsters. Better to win/lose with them than these overpaid deadwoods

Captain or not, Young has already been bounced from right back. It's up to Shaw now to make sure he stays on the bench.

Smalling is fit but he is yet to see any meaningful action this preseason.

Jones is still down the pecking order behind Bailly...if that one can stay fit.

Rojo, that one na dead and still has Shaw and Young to contend with before he sees shirt. And he has no chances of playing as a CB either. Even Smalling is ahead of him there.

James is already playing ahead of Martial.

And the young players are already seeing chances to play. Greenwood, Chong, Gomes, McTominay, AWB, James, Dalot, Tuanzebe are all young players.

I only agree with you on Lingard coz OGS can be that dumb.



I agree Players need to bought and even more need to be sold. But that's all on Woodward since he has refused to get a DoF. Not everything falls on the managers head.



NB: I be United fan. Not an OGS fan. If he messes up this season, i will personally champion the Ole Out chants on this thread.

From all indications, OGS seems to be happy with his present squad and I can understand the frustration of some of the fans...

Anyways, the TW is still wide open and I would wait till Sept 1st before I give my assessment of transfers (both in & out)

We all want the dead wood gone but then again, we need to realize United is a business subject to the whims and caprices of its administrators.

I know Woodie and Co won't shell out anything substantial for replacing deadwood and only a tool will go into the season with a depleted bench.

Greenwood will come good as a LWF this Season. Mata is better off in the hole, good decision by OGS. McTominay is showing the Hunger and Passion to succeed as a United Player. Gomez and Chong also are ready to grab their respective chances.

It's gonna be lit in the coming Season.

Herrera was always squad player level, not first 11 player for a team aiming to dominate and win titles. In addition to being a decent player, he was hard working and always gave 100% so i was okay with him in the team.
However since his greed has came into play, coupled with the fact that people like him are just blocking the development of the younger ones in that crucial midfield i am happy to see him go.

Pogba's stay here has been a failure so far, and i warned people about this. He and the club can share the blame in this 50/50 or any way they see it.
He does not thrive in a midfield in which he is meant to be the lynchpin, rather he needs a good supporting cast like he had at Juve and has in the French team. Instead of the guy we should have bought 2 quality central midfielders by adding just little to that money, but Ed went for the glamour buy.
Pogba is our best player but him leaving or staying will have no bearing on our performance next season IF we buy the right sort of midfielders to play with/replace him.

P.S The smart thing to do would be to secure those players first, then sell him to the highest bidder if he still insists on going.
