If it was so easy to cancel contracts or ship players who are on high wages out, Barcelona would have retained the services of Messi. Who will buy Umtiti, Pjanic, Lenglet, Coutinho, Sergi Roberto and others? Which club will accept to pay those wages?

It's not just to say De Gea should be shipped out, without factoring the aforementioned factors...

My issue is not about shipping him out, yes the mistake has been made by renewing hus criminal contract. But must you play him? And he continue costing the team. For eg It was DDG that denied Man United UCL 2 years ago, costing the team the FA cup and Europa league last year.

Your recollection is wrong. There were several people here who were of the same opinion as you. The receipts are there. It was at least evenly split if not more against DDG.

And this is not me being reactionary. There is nothing that DDG did in that Europa final that shocked me. Actually I am yet to watch the shootout because I was a 100% sure that with DDG in goal we stood very little chance.

Doc i am aware that before you make important conclusions you make considerations carefully, so on your own you haven't backed DDG on any occasions, even though i haven't NOTICED any strong dissatisfaction. But your evenly splitting of a thing on DDG i doubt or may be their voice were more vociferous.
It was clear to the unbaised that DDGs position needed serious review, but whenever one mentions it it is followed by echoes of voices reminding us of how he saved us for "free" even though his salary is extortionate.

I did not take note of who advocated or not. All I know is that it was crystal clear that DDG is done, even in spain he was benched by Kepa long before Unai simon. But everyone except Expert17 as i could remember was just reminiscing on his few good season as saving us.
