21 Supreme court judges !!! That is unnecessary duplication of offices at the expense of tax payers. United States with almost twice population of Nigeria has 9 Supreme court judges. What is Nigeria doing with 21 judges? We need to trim those judges to five for real.

But each state in US has its supreme court court and judges.

firstly I am a carpenter and furniture maker. a friend on the the next street called me to come fix his door net. on getting there I stripped the clothes I wore from home to my working cover-all. I put my clothes with my pulse inside on the chair in their sitting room.

few minutes later I wanted a cold Pepsi, on getting to where I dropped my clothes, I realized #500 was missing from my pulse but I thought maybe I left it at home. I went outside to get the soft drink and I met my friend's 11 year old daughter drinking yogurt with snacks.

I asked where she got the money from and she said her dad gave her the money. I asked his dad if he gave her money to get something and he said no. that's when I told him #500 was missing from my clothes I dropped in their sitting room and I went outside now and saw her daughter drinking yogurt with snacks.

he then begged me to forgive the girl and returned my money, he told me about how the girl has been disgracing him in the compound by entering people's room to steal. she steals from the parents too and in school and will later say its one spirit that used to tell her where people keep their money and to go and steal it.

he claimed the problem is spiritual and has gone to some pastors and alfas but no changes.
the thought of the little girl's problem never left my mind till I finish my work there that day that's why I brought it here, ask u guys if such thing could be spiritual and what can be done because he is tired of beating her everyday with no changes

She learns it from Africa Africa magic or parents.

That's where I wanted to swear for truecaller. Normally the code will just pop up without message and an option to copy. I just pasted the code to them. Good enough they wanted to remove all my money but they exceeded transfer limit. They did it again and ask me to send otp na so my brain reset. I sent them wrong otp we argued cos I insisted it was correct las las the guy blocked me

We are going around in circles here. "Lagos GDP is more than some Countries" but who do you credit with that feat?

The FG? The numerous inflow of Nigerians from every corner into Lagos? The large population and thus market of Lagos?

No. It is the bolder part in the article below all dispassionate experts credit with the transformation of Lagos even though Nigerians, for their own sentimental and tribalistic reasons, will never agree. In fact most things you or anyone can cite as an "advantage" of Lagos, such as her huge population" would easily be big disadvantages but for the brilliant administrative management of Lagos.

Also, population influx into Lagos would not be what it is today if Lagos, through leadership competence at all levels, is not bucking the general stagnation trends of her fellow Nigerian States. It is good leadership that attracted the population to Lagos that then continued to challenge the leadership of Lagos to inspire them towards better and greater solutions delivery.

At the end of the day, and for our own efficacy as human beings, it is always important to seperate sentiments and emotions from verifiable facts and proven reality.

Lagos being formal fct, rural to urban migration , presence of ports and industries make it easier for Tinubu to make money to assemble his team.

Can't our governors create such kind of police force that can operate without federal interruption.

They can do it. But they are cowards, greedy, myopic and selfish. I just read UN declaration on self-determination, FG cannot win state on such matter of selfself-determination.

Yes and that is because of the popular saying credited to Michael Jordan that says "There is no 'i' in team but there is in win".

It is about teamwork. Tinubu realized that an created a leadership model that ensures every Governor works within an established and all-important team rather than what obtains in virtually all States of Nigeria where the Governor is an arrogant and dictatorial figure who thinks he knows best and would even dismiss the opinions of experts more knowledgeable than he/she is.

It would be hard for a Lagos governor to fail spectacularly because the team that runs Lagos is never chosen nepotistically, egotistically or to satisfy political expediency as is the case throughout Nigeria. Most leaders in Lagos , in every sector, are very successful and proven solutions providers with solid careers verifying their competence and ability.

Once again you prove the danger of having biases and a closed mind. Everything you seek to discredit Lagos with actually shows the unique thinking of it's leaders others are simply a million years away from. Simple truth is that Tinubu, love or hate him, knows the importance, in Nigeria, of putting round pegs in round holes everywhere. It is one of the cornerstone policies of Lagos that keeps the State moving forward while all around her in the SW, and nationally, are stagnant.

Now swap Tinubu with any popular politician from any state in SW. You will see similar result. Money makes things work for him. Lagos gdp is more than some countries. Yes, tinubu is politically smart but I have to tell you reason behind his political success. If he had not governed lagos , he would never have this opportunity.
Politics / Re: Do You Think Seyi Makinde Perform More Than Fashola When He Was A Governor? by capitalzero: 9:36am On Mar 21, 2021
Oshigun:

If you are unaware, Lagos deliberately prioritized growth of IGR as a sacrosanct part of the administrative solution required to reposition the State for success and growth.

Lagos self-funded it's own growth. In fact your attempt to put down Lagos administrators only damn other Governors of the SW like Makinde. All SW Governors since 1999 have failed to develop their States optimally because, unlike Tinubu, they are indolent thinkers.

At the core of their administrative philosophy is the idea FG must provide them funds to build this and that whereas Tinubu introduced PPP model (private public sector partnership) to fund infrastructural growth and he anchored the financial independence of Lagos on massive IGR growth to wean the State of dependence on FG allocation crippling all other SW States who remain almost 100% dependent on allocation from Abuja.

If objective, and looking at factual evidence, you would agree Lagos and her leaders are far above anything else in Nigeria. As a Yoruba I am only really proud of Lagos because I think all SW Governors still don't understand the concept of sustainable development and growth. It is all about IGR and making your own money rather than relying totally on that others give you. Tinubu, unlike all others in Nigeria, realized this very important concept.

Ogun state, as an example, remains a massive dissapointment because it should leverage on proximity to Lagos to successfully become another outstanding Nigerian State rather than the ordinary one it is.

SW Governors should bury their pride and seek to use simpler versions of the template BAT and his successors used to transform Lagos immensely.

If you swap lagos governor with any of south west state, you will see similar disappointment. Lagos is cente if national economic activity. With massive looting of Lagos treasury, there would be funds for white elephant projects.

*FULANI WAR THREAT*

Translation of pamphlet written in Arabic and distributed in selected Mosques in Northern Nigeria by FULANI NATIONALIST MOVEMENT, FUNAM dated November 6, 2019.*REPEATED: FRIDAY 22ND JANUARY 2021

The battle is getting closer. We call on all true Muslims, this is the time to act. This is the time for second Holy War. We started in 1804. The British stopped us. We must regain the territories lost. It is against Islam to rotate power with infidels. Forget about election that will only lead to sharing of power. Think of the Kingdom that we shall rule for ever. We can Change the naughty history. *Usman Dan Fodio* did it successfully. We can do it too. We must take the enemies in the West, Central and the north by surprise. That is the plot.

*Disperse and occupy their homes, forests, streets, schools, markets and act as spies. You will suffer in this, rain, cold and dust will pour on you, but heaven will honour you after the inevitable battles.*

*Our attacks on the infidels must be total and overwhelming. We must begin by instilling fear in them, weaken their resolve through kidnaps, brutal rapes, making it difficult for them to farm and subdue them before the war.*

Our strategies involves *learning from the tactics of the past and merging it with the wisdom of the moment.* There is no going back. Nigeria is our own. It was handed over to us by Allah. How then can we share what is ours? We must never fight a defensive war.

We must take the battle to the homes of the infidels. We must use everything that we have. Whether you are a boy, a lady, a man or a woman, all Muslims of Fulani Origin must take this as a duty.
We must sharpen our fighting weapons. *Everything is a weapon. Your okada, knives, hands, the trailers you drive, the tankers with fuel, food you sell, the house of the infidels that you guard, study very well and wait for our order.*

*Exploit the weaknesses of the infidels: They're lousy, lack discipline, sleep like fools, love parties and dances, lack focus, mostly unobservant and unarmed.*

With your vantage position you can take on a whole family of 10, conquer and kill them if need be. The battle must be fought in their homeland. The Middle Belt must be totally crushed. They are few and divided. Never trust anyone in the EAST and SOUTH, not even their filthy Muslims who do everything Allah rejects.
*GET YOURSELF PREPARED. THE BATTLE IS NEAR

*Pls circulate to all Yoruba, Igbo and other alliance pattner groups urgently, so that more awareness would be created and prayers and preemptive preparations continuously made.*

*Our goal is to turn their offence to flight. Make them fight the defensive war they fear, until they are out of our geographic spaces, out of West Africa and out of our lives for ever!.*

Drug abuse is more prevalent in the South-west — NDLEA boss

The Chairman, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brig.-Gen Buba Marwa (retired), has disclosed that about 14.4 per cent of Nigerians between the ages of 16 and 64 are using drugs.
He said this was three times the global average, noting that zonally, the southwest part of the country had the worst prevalence in the use of illicit substances.
“The prevalence in the South-West geo-political zone is 22.4 per cent. Oyo State in particular is 23 per cent. This is followed by the South-South with the prevalence of 16.6 per cent and the South-East 14.8 per cent.
This is followed by the North-East with 18.6 per cent, North-West 12 per cent and North-Central 10 per cent. Kano has a prevalence of 16 per cent. This rate is very high considering its population,” he said.
Marwa also called on parents and other stakeholders to demand a drug-free certificate as a requisite for marriage.

Allow me to break it to you. CAN did not fund Abuja national church. I would have said you should research on your own and come back here. Truly, Abuja national church was started by christians in the 70s but the project stalled due to lack of funds; so it became abandoned project since the 70s until former president Olusegun Obasanjo became NIGERIA president in 1999.

So for your information, CAN did not seek for donations to complete the church. The church was completed by Obasanjo administration by spending NIGERIA national treasury (tax payers) to complete the church. He tasked all States to contribute millions of naira. All of them contributed money except Tinubu(Lagos) and Orji Uzor Kalu. Do your research.

Thanks for the clarification
you are worried about the funding. I am aware catholic missions did not allow governments to take partial or full control of their schools. How is catholic church funding her schools without government support?
These missions should learn from catholic then.

Mission schools are not owned by governments. Missions bought the lands, built the structures and ran the schools for years. Government decided to start paying staff but ownership was not changed. I think government should stop posting staff to mission schools.
