A lot of people would make cool money by campaigning for Tinubu.
Average Nigerian is greedy and Tinubu would capitalize on that.
Tinubu would have political unit in every local govt or ward in the country.
2023 election will be similar to 1993 one in term of money politics and noise.

You have no answer to my point, which is why you are asking such a funny question.

But to answer your querstion, 1.6 billion bought what it can buy..which was not enough, and yes corruptionm messed things up.

But even then, corruption or no corruption, expecting us to reach the level of the US with 1.6 BILLION dollars...shows you have some really funky thinking processes going on there.

So, please don't make me laugh by your assumption we can reach US level with less than one tenth of what the US spends.

Before you start...I am no APC fan. That we have 1.6 billion to spend on defencve shows we need to vote a party next time that would raise our national income to a level where we can afford to beat the US at their game.

$1B is ok for domestic security. Are we fighting any nation? You don't even nuclear heads or expensive bombers to destroy terrorists.
US has big defense budget because of her involvement in international conflict.

Read the history of Western Nigeria, did religion stop her unprecedented progress?. If it wasn't scuttled by Ironsi, would the Yoruba nation be caught in this backward & retrogressive web?

Who is ironsi? I don't know him.
Lack of foresight made yoruba leaders to be joined together with igbo and hausa/fulani in 1960.
Fall of oyo empire and incursion of fulani invaders into northern part of yoruba land made it possible for Britons to colonize yoruba easily.
Fulani people want to use yoruba muslims to continue ravaging yoruba land. Yorubas stopped them in osogbo war of 1840. Yoruba muslims even joined fulanis to attack osogbo in 1840.

Read history of Afonja. Yoruba forces under Balogun oderinlo made attempt to reclaim ilorin but yoruba muslims in ilorin made it difficult . They saw the emir of ilorin as God-sent.
Yorubas are facing similar problem today. Religion and Tribe should not be mixed.

When it comes to the matter of life, we must let ego aside and pursue life.

If you are popular on Nairaland, even if you are among the worst of the feminists, I promise you it will do you a lot better if you post this matter on that more verified moniker.

You can save your life by that means. In the process, you might even become more popular.

Another point is that you have to take pictures of yourself and some of the tests you have taken. You will get more help.

If you are a Nairaland feminist and you are now ashamed of exposing your illness because you know that actually it's men that are more likely to help you with their laboratories and with financial help, this should teach you a lesson.

Learn from it. Stop hating on men. We are all in this struggle of this evil world together.

Politics / Re: Pls Clarify- Is Kwara State A Yoruba Or Hausa State? by capitalzero: 4:47pm On Mar 28, 2021
isaacsegun:
Kwara state is located in north central Nigeria in which Ilorin is the state capital as other States in Nigeria has their various capitals.

Kwara state consists of 16 local government in which only Ilorin which is the state capital has 3 I.e Ilorin south, Ilorin west, and Ilorin east. The other 13 local government are outside Ilorin the state capital. In kwara state, there are significant indigenous population of nupe (mainly from patigi and some part of edu local government), also there are baruba people (mainly from Baruten and kaiama local government). There are also igbomina(Yoruba extraction) from Moro, Oyun, Isin, Oke-ero, and Ekiti local government respectively. We also have other Yoruba indigenous in kwara state from Offa local government.

Concerning Ilorin the state capital, the people are predominantly Muslim, the traditional title of the leader(king) is emir, and the only language been spoken is "Yoruba" even though there are minority Fulanis that constitute the royal family.
And the Fulanis from the royal family can hardly speak there ancestral language again they all flows in Yoruba language. it will be difficult for someone as a stranger to identify the ones that have Fulani blood because you will think they are real Yoruba rather Yoruba-Fulanis.

Note; I was born and brought up in Ilorin.

Politics / Re: How To Resolve The Hijab Controversy By Farooq A. Kperogi by capitalzero: 8:02am On Mar 28, 2021
Iegendhero:

God bless you too.

I think you’re also right about your assertions. I watched CAN deputy chairman in Kwara state statement on AlaroyeTV Facebook page and he said Hijab is not actually the main matter and he’s just fighting for equity and if possible government returning those schools to the church. I think he even spoke about the courtroom where the issue was suddenly changed to Hijab.

I support them giving the school back to the church if that will solve the tension. However that will affect both Christian and Muslim student with poor parents.

If the church take back the school and the government withdraw their funding, then the students need to start paying school fees as seen in Ogun state one and that might make the poor Christians that can’t afford the schools to lose quality education.

But that’s by the way shar, probably the Church can find a better model but the governor should return the school back to them and build another school closer to the area to accommodate the students that will exit the mission schools coz of this policy.

Muslims want more than Hijab. Hijab is just smokescreen. Churches and their members had invested much in those schools while many government schools are wasting away.
Most mission schools in core north had their names changed to government schools. Legacies of churches in those schools were erased.
Let government builds more schools to accommodate students from poor homes. They should return those schools to their owners.

LACK OF TOLERATE IS THE ISSUE HERE. WEARING HIJAB SHOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM AT ALL IN FACT IT IS A PLUS FOR THE CHRISTAIN AS IT WILL GO DOWN THE HISTORY THAT THIS KIDS PASS THROUGH CHRISTAIN SCHOOLS AND OF COURSE THEY WILL ALSO LEARN ONE OR TWO THINGS ABOUT THE RELIGION.

BUT ALAS THE MISOGYNIST MIND OF THE BLACK RACE WON'T ALLOW THEM TO SEE THE TRUTH. THE NUNS WEAR HIJAB WHY CAN'T GIRLS AND WOMEN WEAR IF THEY WISH TOO?

ONCE THIS KIDS CONFORM TO WAERING SCHOOL UNIFORMS THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY ISSUE PUTTING ON A CAPS OR HIJABS.

CHRISTAINITY IS ABOUT WEARING CLOTHES IN MODERATION COVERING YOUR BODY AND HEAD WHICH IS IMPLEMENTED IN THIS RELIGION IF THIS SCHOOL HAVE ANY OTHER ISSUE WITH THIS KIDS THEY SHOULD COME OUT AND SAY SO

DON'T USE RELIGION AS A BAIT FOR YOUR HATRED

Talking from both sides of the mouth. Your article last week gave you out on religious mode betraying your secularism garb. This latest article you have been your thoughts last week on this issue. I am sure you had a rethink after backlash from so many people.

If wearing hijab is a right of muslim woman, then I ask:
1. Why are muslim female VIO officials not wearing yet?
2. Why are muslim female Fire Service officials not wearing yet?
3.Why are muslim female NSDC officials not wearing yet?

In fact, Road Safety, Police, DSS, and all the armed forces formation women, why are they not on hijab?

What is stopping these bigots to change the first chapter of the constitution that states that Nigeria is a secular state.

They would start to wear hijab soon. It is gradual thing.

Tinubu is from SW and former Gov of Lagos state. Ahmadu Bello University is in Kaduna state, Northern Nigeria.

What I don't understand is, why are people from neither of these 2 areas the ones crying out their intestines as if they are bereaved?

I understand there is a state that lacks water for over 30 years, is it Tinubu that stopped water from getting there? Is Tinubu responsible for over 2300 gully erosion in one part of the country?

Last time I checked, Tinubu was gov of only Lagos state for 8 yrs. That is the same Lagos some economic migrants now move to in droves, so what exactly is the problem?

Una go kpe for garage.

Tinubu was chancellor when LAUTECH was in crisis, what did he do to help the school ?

I’m in so much tears right now!!!! Look at me just trying to do my business, and I just got scammed! Oh God tried to stop me but I wasn’t conscious enough!

It started with my card being declined and I reached out to Zenith bank on Twitter. I was told you add up a number on WhatsApp to chat with their customer care. I did and everything looked professional, honestly I had no idea that I was about to be scammed!

The scammer asked for my card details which I told him no, but he assured me that he is not a scammer. I sent it, but the card still didn’t work so I transferred my money to my dad’s account hoping to use his card, but the customer care kept disturbing me that they want to help me resolve it. I had to beg my dad to transfer back but he kept forgetting to transfer back and I was pissed!!!! I kept calling for hours till he finally did tonight and the customer care wiped off my account after I sent the OTP codes to him foolishly, thinking I was chatting with their staff!

After my account got wiped off, it was then I realized the mention on my Twitter was from a dorm account on Twitter!

I am in so much pains guys!

Scammers why did you do this to us?

Tell me, if something bad befalls your family will you be happy

I take all the blame...I have always been a security conscious person, but today .....

Please learn from my mistake.

I’m in so much tears right now.
