No! It is not about number of people killed. It is how they were killed! Definition of massacre 1: the act or an instance of killing a number of usually helpless or unresisting human beings under circumstances of atrocity or cruelty witnessed the massacre of a boatload of refugees 2: a cruel or wanton murder
Reactions to unjust system Low class- riot and destruction of lives of properties Middle class-protests and demostrations Upper class- advocacy and lobby
If the gap between upper and lower class is keeping on increasing, next protests will start with violent. If there is no justice, there can never be peace.
baralatie: for your eye so the 100000 job loss and damage to infrastructure because of media misinformation and manipulation by dj switch, ipob miscreants and their supporters to cause mayhem is justifiable
Next time when your child damaged your TV, just shoot him. When will you blame your paymasters for senseless lekki massacre!!, I am very sure your paymasters who ordered the killings are regretting now
baralatie: I am happy that you acknowledged that the keyboard warriors such as yeyebrities, ipob nuisance ,their supporters misled the the idiotic protesters into disobedience and rebellion.
Will you allow your security guards to kill your own children for disobedience?
People that asked soldiers to kill innocent protesters at lekki will be regretting by now. They never thought it would backfire. There can never be peace without justice
baralatie: if youths had not been misled by keyboard warriors and used siimple common sense they would not go about destroying $2 billion dollars worth of infrastructure, noting less than 100000 unemployed and set time backwards to 20yeafs

For your mind, properties are more than important than lives. Your likes can use humans for money ritual
OfficialAwol: Just as the headline reads, do you think things will go back to what it used to be before the #EndSARS protest?
I'm asking this question because some people have blamed the youth for giving up and are predicting doomsday for the youth for daring poke their hands in the eyes of our oppressors.
But do you really think we made no gains from this protest?
Do you think we will go back to an era where a policeman will accost any young boy on the road and ask him to open his phone?
Do you think we will go back to the days where driving Benz, Lexus ES 330 or 350 is a crime?
Do you think youths approach to elections, where any cow will be supported because he has dressed in a coat and termed competent without any proven record of achievement or intellectual capacity, will remain the same?
Do you think the Southwest and the rest of the South will still remain "as divided" going forward?
Do you really think we made no gains?
Just as june protest lead to emergency of Democrazy after 6 years, endsars protests will lead to political revolution and new order in coming years
A lady who lost her son in Lekki toll gate shooting has come out to speak out.According to her, she lost her son Anthony in the unfortunate incident.
It should be recalled that Nigerian army said that the video of the incident was photoshopped. However,DJ Switch insisted that many lost their lives in the incident.
rastamouse: Nigeria missed a great chance to force change. Protests of this sort are not just organized haphazardly like it was done with the #EndSars. I blame the organizers.
After getting the attention of the whole world, the organizers failed to clearly define a motive. Eventually, everyone tried to take credit not knowing they were dealing with politicians.
The cause of the protest failed when the IGP cleverly isolated Davido and later leaked a video of the singer denying ever being part of the protests. That was the day that the politicians poured water on the protest. The thugs were sent to cause mayhem and eventually, some state sponsored hoodlums were made to do all the bad things that later got blamed on the protests.
What the politicians have succeeded in doing is that they have carved a bad name for the protests and nobody wants to be associated with it again. A failed revolution is very dangerous because this generation may not get this chance ever again.
The organizers failed big time. They never realized that the game that they have started is a 3D chess and it can only be played when you use your head and not emotions.
I weep for this country
You are wrong. Spontaneous killing , looting, burning etc that followed lekki shooting shows that the protests were successful as oppressed who were hoping that government would do needful lost hope and reacted angrily. People are convinced that politicians are greedy. Senseless shooting in lekki and president speech make people to loose hope in government.
Now I see there is truly hunger in the land. I have been condemning this Looting of palliatives but now I am confused. I think they should be pardoned for looting palliatives..ONLY PALLIATIVES.
But any hoodlum who tries to loot private properties or burn any property should be ruthlessly dealt with. Shoot at sight order should do for this miscreants. Enough is enough
LeitaP: If those who advised the "whoever" that sent those lekki killer soldiers did the same, the lost of lives and properties would have been averted.
Kudos DPO.
Dialogue and negotiation is key to resolving crisis.
