I met this woman through one of my male friends because she was referred to me for advice on her relationship matters.

Her longtime lover and her parted ways. But she lost a lot to that relationship in term of resources and dedication. What's killing her is that the guy got another woman but won't stop telling others that he left her because she's a bad person. But if you examine the life of this woman, she had never loved another man in her entire life apart from that guy. The guy also sends message to her once in a while to taunt her... messages like "have you been able to get another man? I doubt you can"; "I'm now with my heartthrob, I just tried calling you to see you have moved on but you didn't answer the call suggesting the wickedness in you never dies"... She showed me a lot of these messages while still crying. I have done all I can to help her.

You may think starting a new relationship will help her, but she vows not to get married. Anytime I'm not with her physically, she talks about suicide so much.

Another factor driving her crazy

She works in a company owned by husband and wife. She worked directly under the husband, but the wife is not comfortable because this woman is very beautiful and in her late twenties. The wife looked for excuses to sack her but the husband refused. She was then sent to another department. But the husband got fed up with the new person they sent to work with the husband and requested that this girl be sent back to work under him. This girl is educated beyond first degree. I don't want to mention her profession because someone from her company may be reading this. While she was working with the husband, the wife showed her hell that she was at the verge of committing suicide. Her saving grace was the fact that they sent her to a new unit where she won't be working with the husband directly.

Now she told me she will rather die than go back to work under the husband. I told her to resign. But she said resignation will make the suicide she's thinking of quicker because she's the one taking care of her parents. The company is close to their house in Lagos; should she start looking for another job now and even if she gets another not close to her house, it's another disaster because of a reason I won't like to disclose here.

This girl is Igbo and I'm of a different tribe. I need advice about how to help her because her parents know nothing about all these. Time is running out.

So today I was a bridesmaid at a relative's wedding and I finally wore the wig, but I wasn't comfortable in it... I finally got to see and talk to my sister after the incident that happened earlier this month because we haven't really talked ever since then.

I was happy to see her, but at the same time it brought memories that I didn't want to think of, I was kinda worried that my brother in law came along with her( my second brother in law). I looked around and I didn't see him and I'm guessing he decided not to come along with her because he knew that I was going to be there. After everything that happened, I got a protection order against him and I also considered having his gun confisticate from him, but so far he hasn't used it against me or to threaten me with it, so I let the gun issue go.

According to the protection order, he's not supposed to be anywhere near me and I guess he decided to save himself from the drama by not coming and he was also banished from coming to the family house even in my absence. In as much as I don't want to be the reason my sister's marriage fails and I would never tell her to leave her husband, it really hurt and upset me upon finding out that my sister was still with this same man that tried to harm me.

My day quickly changed from being good to bad because it really broke my heart that she chose him over me. I wanted to confront her, but I decided not to do it because I didn't want to spoil the wedding and confronting her wouldn't change anything because after witnessing what happened, she still chose him... I think she also noticed later in the afternoon that my mood had changed from being talkative to being very silent because she got me a drink and asked if I was okay and I lied and said I was fine.

I left the wedding reception earlier than expected because I didn't feel like being there anymore, I've been staying in my fiance's parents' house ever since I came home on Thursday.. My father has been begging me to come back to the family house, in as much as I want to, I just need a break from my mother because none of this would've happened if she did something whenever I reported the issue of my brother in law to her.

Upon getting home, my fiance's mother also noticed that I wasn't okay because she asked and I lied and told her that I was just having a headache from the hot weather and the wig... When I got to the bedroom, I couldn't help but cry because I miss both my mom and sister, but I can't help but feel betrayed by these two people.

I love my sister so much, but I'm left with a difficult decision to make, either I cut ties with her and miss her for the rest of my life, or I keep in contact with her and risk having the same man who tried harming me coming back into my life and doing only God knows what.

Tomorrow is the last day of the wedding and I'm planning on driving back to Durban as soon as the wedding is over, I don't care if I'll spend half of the night on the road driving.
