It is not by connection that companies pick the majority of the cadets trained abroad and work for them in return. Many also whom weren't picked by companies apply to various firms too in order to get their career started. So it's not all about having connection, everyone destiny is not same and how one puts his/her effort in achieving dreams matters too. Heres the problem with such courses; for instance, as a Nigerian, you are looking for a job in France but you studied Philosophy in English the dynamics have completely changed, why? Because studying a course like Philosophy in French is a different ball game entirely from studying it in English, concepts are altered, lingo and terminologies are different, perspectives are different due to political and cultural views etc if your degree was not obtained in a French speaking module, even if you speak French, it is still different.

Such courses are regional specific, Philosophy in Japan also takes a very different twist, meaning you have to study Philosophy in Japanese to work in that feild in Japan.
