They are probably in closer information with the subcontractor than the minister
That doesn't make them official mouthpiece for the ministry of works. What has NIWA done in their own ministry in the last 10yrs.

Organised protest does. Only that there are saboteurs among protesters at times. Government have seen that online protest is gaining ground as well that's why they are clamping down on that too.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Can A 9am To 5pm Job Make Someone Become Wealthy In Nigeria Without Runs? by CaptainFM1: 5:15pm On Jun 11, 2021
It depends on your definition of wealthy. But in general you can't be stupendously rich by working for someone. Certainly not here in Nigeria.

Buhari and APC are monumental failures. As for Rotimi Amaeachi that thinks that building a rail track to Niger Republic is a better idea than building one in the South East, when the time comes that he needs votes, i hope he will get his votes from Niger Rep
He has said it that they are starting the PH to Maiduguri corridor next. That will run through the East also. Development is gradual. We just need to be patient and be supportive.

Politics › Re: Governor Sanwo-olu Commissions Ijede-Itamaga-Ewu Elepe Road by CaptainFM1: 5:48pm On Jun 09, 2021
Officialgarri:
Only a region with peace can accommodate developments. It is a total waste of money to undertake projects in a place where it would be destroyed.

It is a known fact that the first Niger bridge was commissioned by Tafawa Balewa in December 1965, but destroyed by the people it was built for in January 1966
It is also a known fact that in 2021, the security measures provided are being attacked and destroyed by the people it's meant to protect.
So it is clear they don't want your development. Just give them their ancestral land. Is that so difficult to do?

But why did the uarian government invite the envoy of us, UK EU etc? Is twitter owned by these people or the body/government they represent? Why can't they just invite Jack Dorsey? They should just summon jack and question him why he deleted the post of the uarian god
They are foreign mission envoys. There duty includes representing their citizens. However, their invitation is largely due to their position on the matter. Nigerian Govt expected foreign missions to be on their side regarding the ban.
Car Talk › Re: Flying Cars Are Now Imminent As Researchers Finally Hit A Major Breakthrough by CaptainFM1: 2:09pm On Jun 08, 2021
Arkmanbuddy:
Electrifying roads is never going to be accepted by all as it poses more dangers than than any problem it's built to solve. The only way I feel moving vehicles could be charged apart from solar is by piezoelectricity! The tyres have to be made with a material that produces electricity as they move.

In the case of a self charging flying car, a 'hidden' rotor could be used to produce the charge, more of a small turbine system.

These are just some of my ideas, anyway.
Your view noted.
I've written there already that there are other systems being researched all round the world.

However, you must understand that there is no system that cannot pose danger especially when human error still remains a factor.

Safety considerations and development is a continuous journey in any scientific project.

Car Talk › Re: Flying Cars Are Now Imminent As Researchers Finally Hit A Major Breakthrough by CaptainFM1: 1:32pm On Jun 08, 2021
Arkmanbuddy:
Absolutely right. My take is focus has to be shifted from lithium batteries and research should be on other sources or materials that would have all the advantages you listed and be best not just for flying cars, but electric cars generally.

Also, we should think about having self charging vehicles: charging on-the-go with solar which would reduce our dependence on chargers and storage.
Sweden already have a charge on the go system. The road is electrified for charging moving vehicles and the owner is auto debited for the charging. There are other systems being researched all round the world. How they will auto charge a flying vehicle in the air is what I don't know yet. But I trust scientist & technologist to come up with answers.

[s][/s]The best any of you will get is regional restructuring. And guess what : Your Yoruba nation died the moment Tinubu and his gang partnered with Buhari. So get ready to be surprised in the coming months when Tinubu declares his bid for presidency. And as usual, the agitation will die naturally
How are you sure, he and the elites are not the one leading Igboho himself? How are you sure the agitation is not the elites back up plan being reinforced.

Truth is, this country cannot last 10 more years. Whether you give the SE or SW the presidency doesn't matter any more. Infact, it will only speed up the process.

The North know this and they are torn between two difficult choices. SE or SW or SS President, the entire South will undoubtedly go.

Money is good when rightly made.

Some richmen always have who or what they sacrifice to keep their money rolling.

I know an Alhaji who didn't give birth to a male child and also keep on marrying and divorcing, that was his own sacrifice to keep his money rolling. His bumbum was recently exposed by his white girlfriend.

I also know someone from Osun/Lagos who sacrificed his teeth to keep his wealth, his teeth will remain brownish just to keep his wealth.
I know someone from Abia state whom his own mother did the sacrifice for, he recently escaped Kuje prison just because EFCC didn't do their work well
I also know someone whose mother did his sacrifice for by planting a seed of cooked beans at Oba market Benin and saying until the cooked beans grow no one will be able to kill his son, he was recently disgraced from chairmanship of a popular party in one of the African countries.

But I wonder why someone will sacrifice his only son, an apparent heir to his wealth just to keep his wealth.
Do you even know yourself?

Don't always assume that every wealthy person has got his wealth from "dirty means".

Only God knows better. Keep it that way!

This so called constitution review charade is just an empty ploy to distract the people from separation for Nigeria. We refuse to be fooled.

If they truly wish to review that poor 1999 constitution, they would have done it long ago. Not now that we are about to exit Nigeria. They don't care about any constitution. The northern jihadists are just attempting one of the many nefarious tricks in their wickedness.

Ko le work.

Constitution review too late.

Oodua Republic, here we come.
Exactly what I'm thinking. We should forget constitution review and divide this country.

Wise man

The senate should be scrapped by 2030 when I have been a senator and collected my own share of national cake.

By the way the following law should be looked in to...
The law that allow north to have Shari'a police.
The law that allow north to ban alcohol and yet collecting taxes paid by beer companies.
The law that allows north to partake in oil money from South but bars South from collecting money from Zamfara gold sales
The law that allows Radio and TV stations to interview Miyyeti Allow president but bans them from granting interview to IPOB spokesperson (Emma Powerful.
The law that allows Northern governors to send almajiris that are from their States back to home States but bars southern governors from doing same.

Most important, the law that allows a 4th candidate in election contest to be declared a Governor
As a private citizen, do you know you can challenge any of these "laws" in court? Have you done so?

I have no option than looking out for Coco Gauff then.

Why do they have to mandate it for every player to appear before the press to speak?

This is a player I prefer seeing and enjoying her dexterity with the racket rather than her verbal response.
Press briefing is part of the gig. Tennis is not just a sport, it's a complete entertainment. The organisers have factored all the revenue spinning quarters together and press briefing is just part of it.

She may be penalised further!
